- Did Our All Natural, non-toxic, Mosquito spray work? This is the follow up video that tested our eco-friendly mosquito spray designed to kill and ward of mosquitos. This is all natural product. Wouldn’t it just be easier to go out and buy a brand name pesticide that’s supposed kill mosquitos? Mosquito Pesticides are chemical or biological substances. They are designed to kill or repel targeted organisms, like mosquitos. The problem is… pesticides are poisons. Luckily, there is an all-natural recipe that I learned about that is supposed to KILL and prevent mosquitoes from swarming for over two months. But will it really work? Yes it work for at least a week. Using three simple ingredients, like Beer, Epsom Salt and Mouth wash, we’ll mix it together, this time outside. Spray completely around the outside of your home. Especially in areas where you sit or spend lots of time…on decks, patios, lounge chairs, and in recesses around benches, on and around front porches, around pools, fountains and sidewalks. Spray the mixture early morning or after sunset when there’s dew on the grass. Spray around the base of shrubs and trees and on mulch. On the grass where you walk. Did you ever notice that mosquitoes fly up from the base of the grass roots? They like to stay where the moisture is. Thank you for watching our video
I am going to be trying this for sure. My daughter and I are both O+, mosquitoes favorite blood type. And being a stubborn 4 year old she keeps slipping out the door with no bugs pray despite living in the forest in the south.
Did you try it?
My daughter just purchased a new home and we are going to try this recipe out ! We are down in Georgia..stay tuned😊
I am picking up the supplies Tuesday/Wednesday and taking them to my daughter's house to try it out there...I am looking forward to see!⏳🏡🚜🐔🐕
@@melaniemoultrie6676 has it been working?
Sorry it has taken me so long. We had to leave my daughters house to go out of state...We are back in Georgia, but haven't been back to my daughters new house. Maybe by the end of this month.😤.🤣 These past few months have been hectic..
We are gonna keep on Bugging you About This! 😅🦟🪰🤨
😮
Excellent video and information. Trying this for sure. Just need the ingredients ….. have the beer … lol!
Thank you John. Go to Walmart and get the mouth wash in a 2 pack for cheap
Finally bud light has a use!😁👍🏼
So I just did it and I discovered that if you just let it sit the entire solution dissolve on its own. I just put it all over my yard And I'm hoping for the best😂😂❤❤❤❤❤😊😊
did you spray in the evening?
@@robnewton9924 I did and it worked fantastic I can't believe it it's so awesome the mosquitoes used to take over my backyard I'm gonna do this every other month
@@teemmm538 how long did the solution take to disolve?
Thank you
Took about 30 minutes
Awesome job ITT!

Man these mosquitoes in Jamaica is a different breed.. its like they were attacking me instead of running away 😔
Really?
I like this an will try it. Thank you
Did you do it. Thank you for that feedback - Sorry I just read your comments.
how often do you need to spray?
every 2 months
I strained the mixture with a coffee filter.
Awesome
Gonna try this.. I am in Jamaica St. Catherine mosquito capital
Let me know
Could beer be substituted by using bread yeast?
I’m not sure. That’s a great question. But I think stale beer is what is required.
Can this be sprayed on clothes as a daily anti mosquito repellent?
Did it work?
Any idea how well this treatment works when irrigation sprinklers are used?
Probably would dilute it
Do you have to do this everyday
Once every 3 months
I dont understand what is the reason for the mouthwash? its supposed to be some sort of weak repellent and the beer is an attractant so they are fighting each other?
I am trying to figure out the same thing. What is the rationale behind this?
@@shadmoney6617 the MINT-they don't like the smell.
@@ScienceOfReadingTeacher But if they don't like the smell of the mint why include it in a solution meant to attract them? I am honestly trying to understand the concept. If the beer attracts them to feed on the epsom salt then why include a product to repel them as well? Thanks for any insight.
@@shadmoney6617 they never responded to your good question. Im guessing to try with the mouthwash first and then the next time not to include it.
@@robnewton9924 I surely thought it was a reasonable question. Hopefully someone can chime in and answer it because the whole ordeal seems very contradictory.
Do you spray the lawn at night?
yes at dusk
Does this affect beneficial insects too?
no
Does this also work for gnats, also known as "no see ums" please?
not sure
Does it matter what beer?
the junkier beer the better
Only child or 1 sister? Ill have to watch more to parse that out.
I'm skeptical but I'm also desperate 🤞
I was too
Wouldn’t the salt kill or burn the plants including grass?
Iodized salt (common kitchen salt) and sea salt will burn the grass. Epsom salt will not.
No that type of salt is actually good for plants
We use garlic spray, and it works. This is bizarre
how? what did you use and what time did you spray and how often do you spray?
Beer, Epsom salt and scope
The beer has to be stale?
thats what the recipe says
We don't want to run our lizards and amphibians off ...
Safe for pets??
yes
Recipe would be helpful 😐
I hope so
How much beer?
@@lynnevalentino608 3 beers
Half a cup of Epsom salt three beers and a full bottle of scope type mouthwash
@@lynnevalentino608 Go out and buy a six pack of the cheapest beer that they make. I chose Pabst blue ribbon. Pop the tops on them and leave them open throughout the night. Dump three of them into a 2 gallon spray bottle and 3/4 of a cup of Epson salt and a 1/2 bottle of mint mouthwash that kind of resembles scope . But you may want to mix all three ingredients together into a bucket and stir it up real well. Before you pour it inside of the spray tank use some type of a strainer, a ladies stocking or pantyhose, and place it over the mouth of the spray bottle to strain out remaining stuff so that doesn’t clog your spray bottle. Try that. If you can videotape it and get back to me
Mouthwash alone should be the only ingredient that is effective. But if you insist on beer then de alcoholl would do. Why waste good beer. But there is no chemical reason for beer and epson salt.
