Something that helps me to improve my batting is to see the velocity of each pitch every time I’m going to bat. If a pitcher throws 97-100mph means I have to be quicker or if he has a slider and change up as 2nd or 3rd pitch, I look for those when I’m 0-2. Knowing the velocity of the pitch helps me to know what to expect.
