      A&M’s chances are very DECEIVINGLY low right now. If Auburn happens to upset a weaker than avg. Alabama (@Auburn btw), A&M plays the #1 in the SEC champ (assuming they win out). This is a team with some of the best recruiting in the nation as of late, has a defense that’s shown to be championship level and a quickly improving offense. If they stopped GA’s offense and scored just enough... theyre a playoff spot and probably a good one, which at that point would mean maybe into the title game. Don’t. @. Me.

    42:06 THIS!!!! But listening to Stroud after the game, he won't be running the ball much still.
    When asked after the game if he thought there were opportunities to run the ball, Stroud was rather direct with his answer.
    “Nah, not at all. If my job was to run the ball, I’d be a running back or something,” Stroud said. “I throw the ball for a living. Sometimes, of course, it might look obvious when you throw the ball and everybody runs to the ball, ‘Oh, he should have ran it.’ But I feel like I do my job when my number’s called.”
    And this is going to limit our offense as long as he's the QB.

    • @SchuStud
      @SchuStud 3 года назад +1

      I completely agree. Stroud is not our guy. I’m hoping he’s just a place holder for Ewers or something. He threw high the first 3 games, and now against Nebraska and Penn State, he’s been throwing low. He hasn’t been giving receivers a chance to make plays after the catch because they have to dive or slide to catch it. Also, there was one play on 3rd down where Stroud was scrambling to the left and was looking downfield and instead of throwing it or trying to run to pick up a few more yards, he just ran out of bounds. And that’s what I don’t like about Stroud. He looks scared and doesn’t seem to have any fight in him. I get it, he’s a passer and when his number is called, he’s supposed to pass it. But if it’s not there and it’s 3rd down, I feel like your back up job should be to fight for that first down. Not give up like he did by running out when the closest defender was still 5 yards away. That and with no threat of him running, it’s limiting Henderson because the defense only has to focus as him on a runner. Ohio State has so many weapons but it seems the one limiting them is Stroud.

    Two more things about A&M:
    1. There’s a saying at A&M: “If something happens at A&M two times in a row, it’s tradition.” Ask an Aggie in the know about “The Grackle” at A&M for proof. Even the official Aggie Football Instagram has a post saying, “War Damn Grackle.”
    2. We are the way we are because we have an impact on the game and we know it. Listen to Jimbo when he got asked about the LSU job and how highly he talks about the 12th Man. Listen to the players after the Bama game. I think Auburn had 4 false starts yesterday. Yeah A&M had two, but Auburn simulated the snap count which is illegal. Guess the refs ears were ringin. I was at the game and I was yelling till I was blue in the face and then I kept yelling. Literally thought I was gonna pass out from yelling too much at the end. Kirk Herbstreit’s worst take (and this is saying something) is that the crowd at A&M isn’t intimidating.

      Maybe I’ve been to the wrong games. I’ve been at Kyle Field for 3 games since 2015 and it was decent, but wasn’t nearly as loud and intimidating as the Florida and LSU games that I’ve attended.
      Florida fans are awful people and I I was legit scared as they threw stuff at opposing fans and way too many UF fans are seriously looking for physical confrontations. I honestly thought I was going to get injured the last time I was at the Swamp in 2019. It was noticeably louder than Aggie land too.
      LSU is obvious with being loud and rowdy during night games. Kyle Field doesn’t compete with Tiger Stadium. However, if it’s an 11AM game, Kyle Field is like 5 times louder than Tiger Stadium. LSU is dead during day games, specifically 11AM kickoffs.

      @@RevAlSharptonz I typed out a long response to this, but I won't change your mind. So, enjoy being the worst fanbase in the SEC. • @RevAlSharptonz
      @RevAlSharptonz 3 года назад

      That’s such a bizarre response. Who would lie about attending LSU? According to US News & World Report University rankings, LSU is 12th in the SEC in their academic rankings (only in front of the two Mississippi schools, sucks to have a degree from Ole Miss). LSU is barely a tier 1 school. I think there are only 3 or 4 SEC schools ranked in the top 100 universities in America. I’d at least claim one of those if I just had to claim that I attended a SEC school.
      I feel like you’re the fool here. If you can’t imagine or accept that a random stranger online was able to graduate from LSU, then I can’t imagine how uneducated or poor your grades were in high school. You just needed a 3.0 in your core classes and a 24 on your ACT and you were automatically accepted (those were the requirements 10 years ago, hopefully they’ve improved). I’m no genius nor are many of us that attend/graduate from LSU. I just can’t get over the fact that you think someone would lie about attending LSU. It’s not academically prestigious, but I guess the people who weren’t accepted are bitter or intimidated. Continue on and be bitter though and explain why you didn’t get accepted to LSU or make up some other random excuse. Anyone who would lie about attending LSU and be proud of it is truly dumber than you. I received my masters 2 years ago and I’m more much defensive and proud of that institution than I am of LSU. Definitely a more respected university than LSU.

      Alabama is looking like a sad team this year that definitely escaped with wins against teams currently with losing record (LSU & Florida). As an Alabama alumnus, I’m praying that Bama doesn’t make it to the 4-team playoff. If they do make it, Alabama will be embarrassed by a Big Ten school or Cincy. More importantly it will make the SEC look bad and give the overrated Big Ten schools fuel to think they are decent in football.

    • @MetallicAAlabamA
      @MetallicAAlabamA 3 года назад

      @@RevAlSharptonz Well, on the fact the that since Saban has been at Bama. The average numbers would suggest that this season wouldn't be a championship season. Saban typically wins the natty around the 3rd year of a recruiting cycle. So I believe that Alabama will not win a title, an SEC or a natty for 2021. I've felt like Georgia was going to pull one off sooner or later. College football is one sport that you can get a good bead on which programs will either become really good, with the right coach. Which programs are going to continue, and know all this because alot of these assistant coaches that come from the NFL has to adjust to a different style with younger, more high energy, kinda annoying in a way lol. When you've dealt with grown men for a while, things tend to become alot more frustrating than what you had before. So my point I'm getting at is Bill O'Brian is gonna be OK. Especially in his second year. The numbers dont lie. If he dosen't pan out, then oh well. Saban is getting to that point where he knows that he dosen't have 20 more years, maybe 15 at the most. And Saban's approach may not be what we saw when he arrived. And of course It's inevitable. I'm just happy that he stayed at Bama, won SEC titles, national titles, and did all of this with the negative talk, and stories of Saban leavin, lol! That is awesome!And imo, Saban isn't required nor should he be questioned. Saban isn't done yet! But people seem to think somethimes. And he said that when he feels he isn't being a positive influence, and couldn't contribute to the program, then thats when he will step aside. But if people think Saban is going to go out like a chump? They best remember that Saban will go out with a national title. I guarantee that! But as far as 2021. I think Bama fans should sit back, relax, and when the opposition is pointing that finger at Bama and laughing, saying the dynasty is dead. Then that's when Bama goes and does Bama things. There is way too much talent on that team to have even a halfway decent coach couldn't have these players ready in a 2 year span and win both a conference and national title. So a really good assistant coach, that has a roster like Bama's. Should net positive results in his first year, without a natty. This season has been an odd season. And I'll be honest, I kinda feel like Skip Bayless was correct when he said that he didn't trust Bill O'Brian's playcalling ability. But as always, Bama WILL win another national title. Anyway, I didnt mean to make this long. But there are just some Bama fans, and alumn that are young and haven't appreciated what kind of history the university of Alabama has accomplished in football. They see the dynasty of today and think that we should win every game, and we should. Just let me be clear. But reality tells us that winning back to back is possible, but not likely. Winning one is already tough enough for around 25-30 college programs, and another 75+ have never one a national title. So that leaves only a handful of dominate programs. 1. Alabama 2. Notre Dame 3. Ohio St 4. Oklahoma 5. Michigan 6. USC 7. Nebraska......you get my point. that have won the majority of national titles. And Alabama has 18, give or take a couple. Closest are Notre Dame, and USC with 12 and 11. I'm counting from the first Rose Bowl. It's just frustrating because Bama will continue to be the tip of the college football mountain top. And it won't be too much longer Bama will pass Michigan as the all time wins leader in the sport. Along with Ohio St. Wich is 2 wins ahead of Bama, and climbing. All in a tougher conference, against tougher players, and against alot of difficulties from being accepted as a national equal their first trip to Pasadena to play Washington in the Rose Bowl, and beat them. To dealing with s
      Civil-rights the 50's and 60's, finally integrated in the 70's. Had probation, all kinds of violations, wins vacated during the mid - late 90's , through the early 2000's. And I'm sure Bama will deal with more issues again. But I always know that even after they bury me. The Alabama Crimson Tide will continue on the winning tradition. Until earth is consumed by mass hysteria, misinformation, and irrational thinking. Or consumed by the 🌞 or nuclear fallout, lol. Roll Tide!

    Josh, your graphic was wrong. Bama had 308 total yards, not 208. Bama never does very well coming out of a bye. I suspect the coaches use that extra week to recruit. Bama does something else weird. They tend to move a lineman to a new position if their center gets hurt to keep their best guys on the field. I know the NFL does that but NFL players don't go to class or have homework. In college, you are now missing 2 starters from their starting positions.

    Thank you Josh, my respect went up tremendously hearing you rehash the QB situation at Georgia. Not that you need that from me, but it’s there nonetheless.
    Stetson carried the offense in the first half. JT was less than excellent.
    Stetson DIDNT throw to the end zone in third down with a safety back there. He learned from Florida game. People booed and yelled for JT.
    Next play in 4th down he throws a dime for the first TD. Ran away with it after that. Crowd was silent.
    JT on paper has the upside. He has yet to show his touted potential in college at either school against superior competition. Right now, and in recent past, the right guy is starting. Regardless of whether he is “better” or not.

    Georgia's going to wreck our shit this Saturday, but no more than any other middle of the pack SEC team. And Heupel is good for 2-3 schemed up TD's per game no matter who we're playing so I expect we will be a thorn in their side until second half when the wheels fall off due to depth. One part of Josh's point around 30 minutes in doesn't quite make sense: he's talking about Bama's week 1 offense fooling people, and mentioned losing to A&M in his cluster of proof. Bama put up 39 on A&M @ A&M, who has the #2 scoring defense in the country (3 touchdowns over their average allowed and by far the most they've allowed). That'a actually a counterpoint to the point being made.

NFL analysts (such as UrinatingTree) have been pointing the finger at him for YEARS as the primary, if not sole, reason the Texans organization is a complete disaster recently.

Pretty sure 2 out of the past 3 UT opponents had to play us on their worst week of the month, in regards to cramping that is.

    I think it’s very obvious Dan Mullen treats Alabama/Georgia games with a different type of energy then he does with any other games which is why you’ll get beat by someone your “not supposed to” in this conference. Since he’s undeniably one of the best X’s and O’s coaches the sec has to offer, has the Florida job and has more talent than most I can’t blame the man for thinking they should essentially be handed victories but hell look at teams like Arkansas or Tennessee they’ve done a lot more with a lot less. I’m not a college coach but I think he somehow has to figure out a way to prepare every week the same way he prepares for teams that are where he thinks his team should be. To me it makes you’re whole Jimbo Fischer Oven analogy show why that way of thinking is crucial when you play in a conference this talented and Dan Mullen has been a microwave coach. Yes I know they’ve lost games to Bama and Georgia but you can’t tell me if you stuck South Carolina’s players and coaches into Alabama/Georgia uniforms Florida would’ve showed up and possibly dominated

    Shane Beamer was awesome after the game - it was also heartwarming to see him with his kids. I’m a fan of his program when they aren’t playing my alma mater. Mullen has been phoning it in which is disgraceful for a multimillion dollar salary. Maybe he should take the Meyer excuse and fake an illness and sit out a while. I’ve always felt the UF program deserves a better human being than Mullen.
    Will Anderson and a couple of others as well and are good leaders for Alabama, but this Alabama team is sorely lacking in leaders and especially senior leaders. It was good to see Alabama still beat the disgusting Odious O and Loserana College. Hopefully some of the Odious illegal actions will lead to probation for Loserana College. The offensive line for Alabama has been horrible all year and obviously from the A&M and Loserana College games they are incapable of handling blitzes. So obviously the 3 remaining opponents will blitz a lot. At some point you wonder if it’s scheme and coaching or are too many of the spoiled privileged players too lazy to do the required work. It’s not coach-speak when those players are told Alabama pretty much always get every opponent’s BEST GAME EFFORT as they have this year with Florida, TAMU and Loserana College. All 3 of those teams played their best game of the entire season by far against Alabama.
    TAMU has owned the state of Alabama this season. How many times have they done that in ELEVEN YEARS in the SEC?
