I remember when Habib Ahmad Niazi sang together with Ustad Manzoor Ahmad Khan's son, Ustad Abdullah Manzoor Niazi. Now he has his own party. He proves to be a very able qawwal, with a sound knowledge of Hindustani classical music. I also like how he delivers qawwali with restrained passion. His humble demeanor is also very pleasing to me. Best wishes to him and my heartfelt thanks to The Dream Journey team for giving Habib Ahmad Niazi and other gifted but little-known qawwals a platform.

Mil ke jis din se gaya hai koi ik baar “Jigar”

The group is based in Karachi, but the caps are traditional warm ones of the frontier. Not directly connected but may have been chosen due to the winter evening.

Its from the KPK province, Pashtuns traditional headgear (also common in Afghanistan) among other traditional head gears they use. And is called 'Pakol' in Pashto.
