Big dog, you have no idea what the hell you're talking about. I'm pretty sure you've never been to Miami Florida. There's at least 10 different places just in Miami-Dade County that are worse than every other place you've mentioned.
I once was wandering around on foot looking for the beach, and went from Coral Gables to a black neighbourhood. I was like "Aw, crap! I'm a die! I be all up in dey crib!" Then a lovely lady who is of the black pigmentation directed me with concern as to the locastion of my desired destination. I almost died.

Florida has more felons than anywhere else, there is one place where there is a mobile home park full of convicted pedophiles..I used to live in pensacola. Which started to see a home invasion problem after Katrina. Robbery was also starting to get out of hand...I used to drive for yellow cab in the city..

I used to install alarms for a company in Port St. Lucie, and had to installs in Fort Pierce regularly. Let's just say than any of the letter streets (esp. Avenue D) are total shitholes where I got tools stolen out of my truck and people screwing with me all the time.

Oh come on! I lived in Daytona many years, and it most certainly IS a dump full of really low, lowlifes. In fact, Volusia County is one of the lowest, of not THE lowest rated counties in the entire state. Keep in mind that the Daytona mainland is different than Daytona Beach, which is different than South Daytona, which is different than Daytona Beach Shores. This is in descending order, from the most ghetto, to the cleanest and safest.

It really depends on what part of Jacksonville you visit, north Jax isn’t bad, I’d avoid the west side ,103rd and moncreife, other than the traffic anywhere else it’s not so bad. I grew up north Jax so I got he full experience 🤷🏼♀️
Brittany Townsend north jax is actually the worse, that is where moncrief is located. It's the hood. You must not be from here lol the westside is spotty but the Northside is where the problems are. I stay off 103rd street. This area is very mixed. 103rd st is bad but not the entire westside.
I'm a Jax native. Brittany's probably referring to the North side like Oceanway. It isn't that bad. NW Jax has the worse crime rate in town.From about Dunn avenue into town. Moncrief is NW. ,45Th st. etc. Ground zero for crime in Jax. But it's pockets all over town between the nicer nieghborhoods.

Those hotels on 192 really are bad though. It's all extended stay hotels full of people who can't get regular homes. I had to stay in one of them for 8 months one time and the police were out there all the time.

LightCan A few of them have their bad spots and deserve to be here, but the other half are nice places to visit. I currently live in New Port Richey, and this area has some bad spots, but overall is quite nice. Did I mention it’s one of the fastest growing areas in the country, with multi million dollar homes going up left and right.

As a fort Pierce resident I can tell you that we're no where near as bad as you'd lead on. Don't have the highest crime rates, don't have the highest unemployment rates, just a slower than average city on the progression scale. I'd really like to see what your criteria for judging all these cities are

Yes, that's what I was thinking I just moved to Ormond beach a year ago and haven't seen all of Florida yet but the worst place I've seen so far is def Jacksonville and south Daytona. I saw a lot happen just in the brief stop I made there on the way. I don't think this list is correct at all lol It doesn't mean everyone from the bad areas are bad either, some are just poor and can't get out so I hate casting judgement on places but Jacksonville was def a place I wouldn't want to be long term.
I live in Jacksonville and I see what you mean. There is definitely a lot of crime here. There's a decent amount of good areas, but there's also a lot of places you don't want to go at night(or go at all).

I’m a native Floridian. As long as I can remember Palatka has always looked like the town had a huge bomb dropped on it and they forgot to clean up the mess. A disaster frozen in time. Still, if you’re passing through I recommend Sonny’s Barbecue and Corky Bells.

Belle Glade and Pahokee are hands down worse than Kissimmee and Fort Pierce. I know this as a fact because I used to repo in that area of Palm Beach county and I live in the next city over from Fort Pierce.

I grew up in Fort Pierce. It's really not that bad. There are some really beautiful beaches, and downtown Fort Pierce is worth a visit as well. I live in the next town over now, but we own a business in Fort Pierce and have friends and family who live there. Definitely doesn't deserve to be #2 on this list. The whole list is out of whack. I have lived all over Florida for many years and visited every city at least 2x and although statistics have their use, they don't reflect a realistic appraisal of a place. As a retired ship's captain I've traveled the world over and trust me, practically EVERY city has a bad spot. It's just a fact of life. Perfection does not exist. Cheers!

(3) Florida is a "destination State" for losers of all kinds from "up North" - divorcees, druggies, & scam artists abound.
(4) POPULATION BOMB - Florida is now the 3rd most populous State - high population triggers all kinds of "negative effects."
