@@Camz316 Otherwise, very good video! ...and timely (for me); been thinking about getting one of these pocket pistols. [70 yo & Texas] Thanks for the effort you put in! 👍
@@Camz316 MANAGE IT ???? NO REASON for the distracting (music). WHY may I ask is there a need for any music in a gun video? Just because other people do it ? I like your video other than that AND I do own A LCP 380 ORIGINAL & IN FEB 2024 PICKED UP THE Ruger MAX 75TH. Anniversary model .. Both are nice and compact ...
I have about 350 rounds through mine so far with zero malfunctions, using several types of ammo. You have to watch for that trigger bite, though. I use the first joint on index finger to pull the trigger now rather than the pad of my finger and no more trigger bite.
I just picked up one of these today for $280+ $10 background. First impressions You got to be on the blade of the trigger first exactly or no pull. It will take a little practice. Not as forgiving as say a Glock. Trigger reset is great. I like trigger way better than gen 1. I did experience a little bit of trigger finger bite. The tenth round is difficult to put in but perhaps that will ease up. The slide release doesn’t want to drop on a full mag - I had pull back on slide to load. I haven’t tried 10+1 yet. The sights are much better than my gen 1but are combat sight requiring occluding a pop can at 15 , completely. The grip is better than my gen 1. I fired 40 rounds of fmj and had no issues. I’m pleased so far.
Well, it looks like the LCP Max's run is about over. Smith & Wesson's new Bodyguard 2.0 blows it completely out of the water. I've carried the LCP II and the Max for years, but my new pocket gun is my Bodyguard 2.0. There is no comparison. Different realms.
Have had mine for nearly 3 years. There was an issue with rusting on the slide but i haven't had any issues here in dry Arizona. I made sure to periodically wipe it down to avoid it anyhow. Also heard about feeding issues with certain ammo and i followed suggestions to polish and smooth out the feed ramp. Haven't had any issues. Love this gun. Goes nearly everywhere i do. Got a couple of the 12 round mags as well.
My 60 sec review. First, the Good: its about as small as I can hold comfortably, great size & weight, easily THE BEST for pocket carry, great sights. The Bad: no manual safety, the 22lr version has a safety & there's no reason NOT to include one on the 380acp vesion, the so-so trigger is to be expected, but no DA second strike is a big No-No. Biggest worry for me is a huge hole in the back of the slide, a target for dirt & debris to jam the hammer or firing pin. Any gun can always be improved, but all in all, I'm VERY happy with it.
@@makebuildgrow3287 I dislike music that clouds the voice, however, your video does a great job of lowering the music to a level that is far from competing with your verbal communications and I believe you have done a great job of balancing music and voice. Great work! And believe me, I am picky about this as I have a hard time watching movies that I have to use subtitles with, due to the overriding volume of background music or sounds. Also, a very good review.
With pocket pistols like this one aimed, two-handed grip shooting is silly, since someone carrying one is more likely to use it one-handed, shooting from the hip.
Good video. Music was extremely distracted. I'm subbed now. You have potential with your reviews. 👍
Lose the too loud background music…. it doesn’t add anything and is quite irritating. 🤐
Will definitely work on managing the music volumes in future videos
Thanks larry

Great video! Nice little pocket carry 🤘🏻

Doesn’t need a manual safety. MAGA 🇺🇸
Music too loud and your voice is too low.
Thanks I’ll fix that on the next one

Bought the 75th anniversary edition , love the look, polished slide , stuck in background queue but looking forward to first range trip
Great video, I am waiting for mine to be delivered .
Very good video the only downfall for me personally the music was way too loud😢
That background music sounds a lot like "My Sharona".
Kill the background music
Nice review, I have a keltec p3at and the recoil is very low

Good review. Kill the music, please!
Great review! Nice little gun.
