    Everyone shits on this gun, but I love it! Two things i have noted! First, women love this gun if they can shoot and do not limp wrist, it will serve them well. Second, since the trigger is a long pull, it seems weird to a lot of shooters who will instantly dismiss it. I got the hogue slip on grip and the extended mag because my hands are decent. lastly, it does hurt to shoot, so there is that, but i have put mass rounds through mine with not real issues! Great vid bro.

    Bless the unknown man on the internet who first showed me how to build a train !! If you buy from Harbor Freight the Franklin 600# "hand truck" SKU 58291 you can easily increase the wheel base to 36" (so it doesn't easily turn over} by slipping the axle out and replacing with a 36" x 5/8" rod. Then using 5/8 " washers and PVC pipe for spacers. I also install a dashboard, and Menards sells me steering wheels. I weld nothing, as it can all be done with bolts. The truck today is $67.99. !/17/25.

    Do you have written instructions for the sizes of what you actually cut. Also where are you getting the product and last question, do you have an approximate price if you were supposed to make five or six of those what it would be

    Well, it looks like the LCP Max's run is about over. Smith & Wesson's new Bodyguard 2.0 blows it completely out of the water. I've carried the LCP II and the Max for years, but my new pocket gun is my Bodyguard 2.0. There is no comparison. Different realms.

    It's a good compromise for backup, tiny enough to tuck anywhere, the aftermarket mags are in fair supply, and this is what I'd go for that's less BANG than a 9mm but isn't something obscure like .32ACP. Seriously, when is the last time anyone here has seen that or .25 on the shelf? Occasionally, perhaps, but also with a premium tacked on. This is something I'd get and toss to someone if we're in sketchy 'Hood territory. I'll be buying one very soon even though my gorilla hands can barely get a finger and a half on the grip. For another $100 I could get the LCP Max but that's ammo money wasted! Primary reason to get this anyway is the very low profile it has. Thanks for tackling the disassembly/reassembly. Some of us have to figure it out the hard way.

    With pocket pistols like this one aimed, two-handed grip shooting is silly, since someone carrying one is more likely to use it one-handed, shooting from the hip.

    We have a barrel train and we're try to put some vinyl stickers on it that we made with our cricut machine. Any idea why they don't stick?

    • @Andy_and_Michelle_Adventures
      @Andy_and_Michelle_Adventures 3 месяца назад

      The plastic barrel surface is a coarse material which causes the decal to only stick to 50% of the material. The surface has to be smooth like a painted car or a glass surface. Make sure you are using oracal 651 vinyl or Starcraft vinyl. You may have to sand the surface area for decal to make it smooth for decal.

    I just picked up one of these today for $280+ $10 background. First impressions You got to be on the blade of the trigger first exactly or no pull. It will take a little practice. Not as forgiving as say a Glock. Trigger reset is great. I like trigger way better than gen 1. I did experience a little bit of trigger finger bite. The tenth round is difficult to put in but perhaps that will ease up. The slide release doesn’t want to drop on a full mag - I had pull back on slide to load. I haven’t tried 10+1 yet. The sights are much better than my gen 1but are combat sight requiring occluding a pop can at 15 , completely. The grip is better than my gen 1. I fired 40 rounds of fmj and had no issues. I’m pleased so far.

    Nice little gun. I'm currently hoping to add a pocket gun to my collection in the near future and this one is high on my consideration list. My truck gun is a Ruger Security 9, a gun I've been very happy with and the LCP1 seems like a very similar gun on a much smaller scale.

    Have had mine for nearly 3 years. There was an issue with rusting on the slide but i haven't had any issues here in dry Arizona. I made sure to periodically wipe it down to avoid it anyhow. Also heard about feeding issues with certain ammo and i followed suggestions to polish and smooth out the feed ramp. Haven't had any issues. Love this gun. Goes nearly everywhere i do. Got a couple of the 12 round mags as well.

    My 60 sec review. First, the Good: its about as small as I can hold comfortably, great size & weight, easily THE BEST for pocket carry, great sights. The Bad: no manual safety, the 22lr version has a safety & there's no reason NOT to include one on the 380acp vesion, the so-so trigger is to be expected, but no DA second strike is a big No-No. Biggest worry for me is a huge hole in the back of the slide, a target for dirt & debris to jam the hammer or firing pin. Any gun can always be improved, but all in all, I'm VERY happy with it.

    I have about 350 rounds through mine so far with zero malfunctions, using several types of ammo. You have to watch for that trigger bite, though. I use the first joint on index finger to pull the trigger now rather than the pad of my finger and no more trigger bite.

      @@makebuildgrow3287 I dislike music that clouds the voice, however, your video does a great job of lowering the music to a level that is far from competing with your verbal communications and I believe you have done a great job of balancing music and voice. Great work! And believe me, I am picky about this as I have a hard time watching movies that I have to use subtitles with, due to the overriding volume of background music or sounds. Also, a very good review.

    When i was looking for a pocket pistol, i rented several at a local range. When i shot the Ruger LCP the trigger felt like it was about a 12lb trigger. The gun is extremely light and could barely get 2 fingers on the grip, making accurate follow up shots nearly impossible. Many other better choices available.

    • @oldcop18

      I have XLG hands so I put the Hogue rubber grip sleeve on it & carry w/the 7 round mag. It does pinch my trigger finger but I won’t notice that in an emergency. Mine is the unofficial generation two and it’s never malfunctioned w/any kind of ammo. I pocket carry in the DeSantis pocket holster.
