The night maps wouldn’t be bad for me if it didn’t FORCE me to use a canted laser.
I genuinely wouldn’t mind the dark gritty atmosphere, but making me use attachments I didn’t select, come on now.
It also sucks that the only way to bypass that is to run a scope with enough zoom, based on my knowledge.

@@marksix3134Hybrid scopes, thermals, flashlight, attachments with built-in sights (like the razorback barrels) sniper rifles and secondaries don't use canted lasers... What you cannot bypass in said map is how campy people get and the motion lights on the central building that give away your position even if the enemy hasn't spotted you...
thermal red dot is no laser and super easy to use. also pistols dont get lasers so you can sneak around with those. can be a very fun map as long as people arent laying down every round trying to be invisible lol

The constant consecutive queueing into Black Gold/Border Crossing is something my friends and I experience all the time too. It has gotten to the point that I have a sneaking suspicion that there is something hard coded into the match making to try and force you to play these maps. It's just not probable that we can back out of those maps 4-5 times (sometimes more than that) in a row and still end up queueing back into those maps
And that's why we should be able to vote for maps. No one will play certain maps because they simply stink, I don't get why that's so hard
Me and my mates hate black gold and lighthouse and we got up to 13 consecutive queues with those maps, it’s crazy

Black gold and border crossing go from the two worst maps to two of the best when you use Slayed's 4x noobtube kit. Also when you have a noobtube out you don't show a laser on black gold. Ps it would be fun to see you play a goofy/troll match sometime

You can still play around the canted laser, but visibility is bad in general, especially if people don't move.
( I use the Razorback with the barrel that has the built in 3x optic and a suppressor for the muzzle flash. Works very well!)
Exactly, it's so easy to see what the community wants. Make Black gold a daytime map, and temporarily remove border cross and rework it for balance.

@@Hyzpen There is no glint in NVG maps, because there is no sun...I don't think it has glint that scope in general though
Black gold is really not that bad. Border Crossing is way worse, I wish they'd add a filter for maps. Nobody wants to wait half an hour to start a match.

Hey Handler, if you run into Black Gold again, know that the barrels with built-in sights of the razorback use the sight instead of the canted laser. Also, snipers and secondaries don't have canted laser either, so you can use these as well.
I always use the Ftac siege. No laser

To avoid the canted laser, put on a flashlight and variable zoom site

I think I'm not the only one who first discovered the Honey Badger in COD:Ghost, fell in love with this weapon immediately.
Such a unique style while having the AR-15 platform and design. And that iron sight... Oh my god that iron sight is just INSANE i never put any external sight on it, whatever the game.

It's the built-in barrel sight on the newer Razorback AR. The short barrel. You could forgo it and actually put a sight you want. It just doesn't give you Irons.

Black Gold is the map all of my squad yells "Back out!" as soon as it pops up. It hardly ever starts haha. Honestly they need to bring back the map voting. why the hell they ever took it out is beyond anyone's understanding.

just started playing mw2 snd and realized i couldn't tell what my main weapon should be since it was the mp5 for me in mw 2019 but it doesn't feel the same in this game. your description of how good the chimera is and how it ties well into your playstyle, might have honestly just sold me on main-ing it for snd!
Also try the AK-74u. Pretty much became my MP5, beast of a weapon. A bit overpowered.

That's my main. Platinum no scope. The rate of fire and damage makes it a great all around rifle.
Black Gold and Border Crossing are really interesting to me specifically, because I love them in respawn modes, but their gimmicks suck so incredibly bad on SnD.

3:20 let’s be real infinity ward is just awful with making maps, otherwise they wouldn’t be recycling 10 year old maps. They can’t create any memorable maps like the old dev team did and it’s sad cause it is one of the biggest factors in why the game is bad, and they have a fetish for box maps like showdown which are almost always still lopsided somehow. We’ll never see maps as good and memorable as highrise and terminal again and it’s a travesty.
