It's bad enough Omar wasn't getting any in Morocco but now he's flying all the way to LA to not get any.
And speaking of not getting any...
Ridge says he was up all night... Thinking about seeing Taylor. I guess there was no "play time" for Brooke last night 😂
@@TriniT21 😂 Or he thought of Taylor _while_ he was "playing" with Brooke. 🤣
@@NewYorkNick0607So to summarize: Taylor came back from the dead; Ridge came while thinking of Taylor; and poor Omar didn’t come at all. 😂
@@FayeIL My kind of post! 😂🤣👍
@@NewYorkNick0607Just like he thought of Brooke while he was playing with Taylor once.
Why hasn't Forrester hired a private eye to investigate thornes case?
Because they cost a lot of money to be hired, and just like with thornes bail, who’s trying to spend money just to say Thorne is out of jail?
Bc no one cares at Casa Forrester 😂
They have forgotten he's in jail. They think he's still in the basement at Forrester as usual.
Under Brad Bell writing, the Forresters dont care about Thorne at all lol.
Seems nobody is missing/grieving Ivana.. Not Anthony, and certainly not the models at Forrester...
Poor Ivana. She is like the female Thorne.
The media, like us viewers, also understand that the Forresters have zero interest in Thorne, so they decide to hound Macy instead 😂
LMAO so true. They've been covering the Forresters long enough to know who's lowest on the totem pole.
Maybe they did go to Forrester first, but gave up after everyone they talked to there gave them a blank stare and went "who?"
True but once he gets out off jail lol.
@@annieo6527 and then they proceeded to talk about how much better Ridge was doing....
The male-centric storyline: Ridge adored by Brook; Ridge adored by resurrected wife Taylor; Ridge given a pep rally by the model squad with proud father adoringly approving.
Once again the Morocco storyline is a vacuum of reason and motivation.
Taylor out of nowhere finally decides to stay in LA.
Ridge isn't telling anyone that Taylor's alive...why? No reason. It's just what the plot needs. 🙄
I still maintain that Taylor decided to stay in LA so she wouldn't have to listen to the 2 hour performance by the orphan choir.
And Ridge just going about his day at work after finding out his wife came back from the dead just took whatever willing suspension of disbelief I had left in me for this storyline and shredded it.
@@annieo6527 Hey, if the orphans weren't preparing a full rendition of Stairway to Heaven with choreography upon my lady's return, Prince Blue Balls didn't really love her.
@@annieo6527 Taylor making a pro/con list at the airport, remembers the orphan choir and screams, "Taxi!" 🙋♀
If I have to see those orphans being lined up again like some unwilling Christmas carollers, I dont know what I would do...
Meanwhile.. Taylor actually does try to explain her reasoning, and she does admit she'd be a terrible "mother" to orphans she doesn't even want.
But.. She is still not making any sense. She's basically saying all the things at least 3 ppl (Jack, James and Gladys) had been telling her for weeks. So what happened to all the reasoning she kept giving as to why she decided to give up Ridge? I guess she and all realised how stupid it sounded.
And this after writing her father a heart breaking goodbye letter, then basically telling him her coming back has nothing to do with him..
🥴
They should have just left Jack's heart attack storyline out.
And don't get me started on Ridge at work laughing and joking after Taylor's reveal, while Brooke could have barely functioned (or dressed properly) after learning Taylor was alive.
I'm actually not interested in any reunion between taylor and Ridge at this point. It's gone too far off the rails for me to root for anything. Let him stay with Brooke and his father's kids.
It’s called Irony…Ridge is thinking how he lets Brooke know Taylor is alive…while Brooke already knows?🤔
Ridge has a new life with Brooke that he is reveling in. Ridge is at a place where he has moved on from losing Taylor. Now she is back seeming like an illusion of some sort who has been gone for a year (with no word) Ridge’s mind is boggled…🥹
Happy 2024 to all!🎉
I'm in shock that Ridge isnt in more shock and is back at work like normal 🥴
Happy 2024 Trish..Ridge has to deal with the best news a man, so in love with his dead wife, could ever receive. It is a joke
I thought I missed an episode between their meeting and this..
So dumb!! I’d be in a hospital recovering from shock!!
While Thorne is facing _the death penalty,_ his father and brother are giggling around models and his fiancé is going to Mexico with another man. 🥴🤦♀
This would be tragic if it wasn't so funny!
Not to mention gabbing about how wonderful the family party was last night 🥴
Now, I know Ridge just got his sight back, and also just saw his wife whom he thought was dead all along.. But.. At no point in any of this has he even mentioned or asked about the condition of his brother who is in jail.
(interesting when u consider in the future storyline of who shot Grant, Ridge in jail was all anyone could talk about).
Has anyone in Forrester even heard that Thorne is facing the death penalty? Or have they not met with Connor to discuss the case at all?
@@TriniT21 It's kind of a missed beat that we never see _anyone_ react to the news that Thorne may be facing the death penalty. For all we know, the Forresters never learn this. And although the Spectras do know eventually, we never actually see how they found out.
@@annieo6527I keep feeling like the writers just can't be bothered to write properly, nor at they bothered to connect the stories.
For me it feels like I'm watching two different shows, or that Thorne is part of some other family unrelated to the Forresters.
I forgot about that - Ridge being charged for murder later and how much more involved all the Forresters were. I'm sure you, Nick and Annie will be on it with the comparisons when we get there! 😁
Ridge saying "Yeah, my wife."" Thought bubble pops up over his head..... "Yeah, which one?"
The reunion of Ridge and Taylor is very underwhelming considering the long build was and Ridge in the recent past thinking of Taylor frequently.
What was missing from Ridge's reaction is the pure joy of having someone you thought was dead for almost a year and them actually being alive.
I understand the dilemma of Ridge having remarried and now having a live-in family with kids but could they not at least have an episode or so with him just delighted with Taylor being alive? Instead it's instantly "this is very complicated" The 2nd reunion was much better.
Yes indeed.
And I also have to wonder how is Ridge back at work after realising his wife is back from the grave. This makes it fall even more flat
That's what I think too one episode only with a Ridge ecstatic about the news was it asking too much?
Sure does 😒@@TriniT21
It would have also given us some insight if they showed how Ridge interacted with Brooke once Taylor left. Now referring to this as a complication with his dad, certainly understated the incredible situation.
For Taylor to just show up at Brooke’s house to reveal herself to Ridge right after his return from the hospital was a Bold move on her part. She put Ridge in shock with her appearance back from the dead. Ridge then pulls away and says he’s married now. Taylor is not letting that fact get in her way in returning back to a life interrupted with her husband. Definitely, Taylor and Brooke seem to view Ridge as property? 🙄
After blessing his new eyes on Taylor Ridge surrounds himself with other beauties at work😂😂
Seeing Taylor reminded Ridge what it's like to be with a beautiful woman. Brooke made him forget. 😂😂
What a heck of a marriage does bridge has ...
Brooke swore secrecy never to tell her "husband " his wife is alive and ridge keeping Taylor's reappearance from his "logan"
Talk of trust and confidence 😂😂😂😂
Yes, it is not looking good at the moment for Bridge…their trustworthiness and honesty is taking a back seat with each other. 😏
Taylor is creating a hot mess for Bridge to handle. And to think at one time Taylor didn’t want to Mess up Ridge’s life by letting him know she was Alive? 🙄LOL
Bridge is "destiny"... according to their fans....😂🙈
@@bettyhopson she took Ridge's letter for Caroline. She cheated Eric with his son. She pretended to not be in love with Ridge while he was dating Taylor and then while he was married to her as a sort of manipulation to have him back. She willingly kept the secret about Taylor's still alive. She will keep the secret about Thomas paternity and lie about being pregnant to marry Ridge still in love with Taylor. That is forcing destiny. And for the record, Taylor wrote a letter about the night with James nobody will ever talk about.
so Ridge has a normal day after seeing taylor? are the writers so uninspired?
That's the first thing I said.
The writers really must also be tired of this storyline themselves.
I know, his wife just came back from the dead and it's just another day at the office. 😂
@@annieo6527Brooke was ready to call in sick when she saw Taylor alive.. She could barely function at the office.
Ridge is making bathing suits and joking with the models.. Make it make sense 🥴
I never had a high opinion of Ridge. That scene reminded me when Taylor called Ridge an *_insensitive clod_* , because he had not called her for an entire week after the first time they had made love (1991), but then he suddenly turned up and said that he had had a lot to deal with. But Taylor has learned, she didn't wait for Ridge to call or turn up at her father's apartment, Taylor now called him at the office. 😅
We know what inspired the writers
Soon both Ridge and Eric will have something happen to them that they will have to deal with💅🏼 😂😂
??????
*The Good Girl as passenger of the plot*
As we've seen in the Morocco storyline, a complication of the Good Girl archetype is that she must avoid _actively_ making morally questionable decisions, meaning that sometimes the plot needs to push her into certain positions where she can't go herself.
That left us with increasingly contrived obstacles preventing Taylor from revealing herself to Ridge (the coma, the amnesia, the captivity, the so-called sacrifice, the orphans, and so on).
Now we see the same thing with Macy, where the plot needs her to go to Mexico with a man other than her fiancé, but it must happen in a way that _doesn't_ call into question her loyalty to that fiancé. So instead we have the reporters, Anthony, Sally, and even Thorne pushing her into passively accepting the idea of the Mexico trip.
And both Taylor and Macy need to break out of the Good Girl passivity in order to advance the plot. Taylor did it yesterday, but at the expense of damaging her archetype (because the timing and motivation were unconvincing). Macy is next, but she will do it in a way that actually _solidifies_ her archetype (because her transition to activity happens at exactly the right time, for the right reason).
Great parallel between Taylor and Macy as Good Girls! 👍 At this point they're actually writing the B plot better. Not just in the "breaking out of passivity" examples you described, but also even in the morally questionable passive moments. At least we get good reason why Macy decides to go to Mexico with Anthony. His manipulation, Thorne's permission, Sally's encouragement, the hounding of the reporters -- all of that adds up to convincing motivation. With Taylor, there were never any good reasons and motivations to not reveal herself to Ridge. Both Macy's weak and strong moments are being portrayed better than Taylor's.
@@NewYorkNick0607 I agree that the character-based writing for Macy is much better than the writing for Taylor at this point. An important part of it is that the show provides Macy with strong motivations that explain not only _what_ she does but _when_ she does it. She never acts or changes her mind at random - any change in her is a direct result of new plot information. Taylor, on the other hand, changed her mind about returning to Morocco _without receiving any new information._
Not a bad 24 hours for Ridge seeing his beautiful wife back from the dead and being surrounded by beautiful models 😂

When Ridge muses : "My wife...", I felt relief that although he may be an airhead, at least _Ridge_ realises on some level that Taylor being alive means he is still married to her.
Someone should explain that to Brooke.
At the moment Ridge has to wonder that he is a bigamist, being married to two women.
@@mara4450at the moment he has to be incredibly happy because Taylor is still alive
@@babs4848 The more -wives- , the merrier. But that incredible happiness still has to be seen.
And somewhere in the back of his mind he wonders if he gets to keep both wives...
@@mara4450 you will never see happiness from Ridge. That's strange for a man who has been thinking about and mourning his dead wife even "happily" married. He deserves to wake up from the "non acting zone" they put him in since he married Brooke. But this time is not near. We have to wait for Bridget. paternity
Omar go back to Morocco and take Brooke with you!😂
Best idea, they belong together😂👍
yes that would be a bless everyone will be happy and the perfect ending
Why Ridge keeps the secret. Taylor is alive and he has to deal with it?
What the hell it would have been him searching for her and going mad about it instead of going to work trying to cope.
The initial reaction should be happy and thankful that someone he loves isn’t really de ad.
The way he's acting normal is odd 🙄

The look on Ridges' face when he sees Omar standing in his doorway 😊 I'm surprised too. I thought for sure that he was going to find Taylor first and get her back on his plane.
Omar has to check what he's dealing with first, the scamp. He doesn't know what Ridge knows, if he knows Taylor is alive etc.. So he now has to assess the scene.

he wants to know if Ridge knows if she told him for Ridge is all that matters
_Eric: Well, all is well that ends well, Ridge. You are back and Forrester is going to have a hell of a summer_
Eric sounds amazingly optimistic, considering that his second son is still in jail, going through a special hell at the moment.
Haven't they yet heard about the threat that the DA wants the death penalty for Thorne?
It seems no one has heard, or even cares
Sally should see red flags. How did prince o know where Forrester office was. Sally called Macy "Darla" Obviously Stephanie kept quiet and did not tell Eric, I wonder what he and Ridge will think when they find out she knew all along? Did Taylor get another drivers license? (everything was lost on the flight)
Taylor expecting a romantic date without analysing Ridge's reaction is pure delusion. To Brooke's fans: there is nothing to add to my post about Taylor. I've said it by myself. I want senior 🔔 Taylor back!
Bad writing all around
Her entire range of reaction has been delusional from the start.
@@TriniT21
Taylor going to Brooke first was a bad mistake…then getting into an argument with Brooke on her intent to return back to Ridge? Brooke’s reaction then was delusional. Steph finding out took another turn for Taylor…desperation set in and Taylor reversed herself and shows up at Brooke’s house…where Ridge happened to answer the door. 😳
I’m thinking Taylor did not get the reaction she hoped for from Ridge? Ridge has just recovered from one Trauma and now Taylor appears alive before him.😳
At this point Taylor and Brooke are desperate people…and now Ridge may be in the same boat?😮
Ridge is going to be looking for details of what happened to her.
@@rosamariann
If anyone is a lost soul it would be Taylor at this moment. She is desperately seeking to return back to her life with Ridge…after not wanting to reveal to Ridge that she was Alive sooner. Now later seems a bit late to undo all the deception that took place from Taylor’s own Actions. 🤷♀️
She had her chances to come clean so many times since returning to LA. When she decided to become the Volunteer and her subsequent behavior has now put her in this hole of trying to explain her lack of reasoning throughout her whole absence? 😮
And some call Brooke delusional…🥴 Taylor’s character has now become one delusion after another. 🤷♀️
I love how they treat the passage of time with this storyline. Especially when it comes to travel. In B&B land, Morocco is as close as Malibu. Actually, who am I kidding? The next-door set piece. Where is the airport the craft service table?
Well he was already preparing to go to America when she called and told him she was coming back. But you're right only in soap world
When Brooke was trying to stop TRIDGE wedding with the news of her pregnancy, it took her more time trying to get to the church in traffic, than it has taken Omar to fly from Morocco to LA and then over to Ridge's office 😂
@@TriniT21 Right? I’ve travelled really far in the past two years with airports and land travel it takes a minute between phone calls and work the next day. I maintain that Omar lives in Fresno and has a car dealership. All his employees are keeping up the elaborate ruse because he lost his mind when his wife died.
@@johnheadley8591 🤣🤣🤣
Your idea of what's going on with Omar is quite possible 🤣
Poor Jack. He asks why Taylor came back, and all she can talk about is Ridge...
Which is why they should have never written Taylor's reason for sneaking back to LA in the first place as her dad's heart attack. Another unnecessary story. They should have just let Ridge be critical in the hospital due to the blast, have Taylor read about it in international news, and then decide to come back to LA as she would have thought Ridge was dying or something.
Jack clearly has almost no place in her life
Yall weird af. Jack survived and now Taylor can focus on getting her man back. Like any NORMAL person would do.
Jack is a vehicle to gain insight into Taylor’s thinking. James isn’t around. Connor is Brook’s ally. And, Stephanie has shunned her.
I really get sick of that woman and her Ridge Freakyness 😂
The way Ridge speaks to Taylor makes it sound like she's an inconvenience. Yet, she seems deliriously hopeful. It's like they're having two different conversations.
Good way of putting it. Ridge is really taken back in his emotions…he’s not sure how to feel because he has based his present life on Taylor being lost to him forever. While here she stands telling Ridge she is back for him…then he remembers he has a new wife whom he just spoke to so lovingly a few moments ago. 😏
Yes, like the ones Brooke and Ridge had before Taylor died.
This episode was painful.
1. Ridge goes to work and is completely passive until he sets up a date with his *dead* wife at The Private Dining Room. What happened to the Ridge that chased Taylor down back in the day? Not buying it. Ridge would've never let Taylor leave that house after the reveal. When did Ridge turn into a Beta aka Thorne?
2. Speaking of Thorne, this *media frenzy* that Sally speaks of must be relegated to Downtown LA. I don't recall a single Forrester mentioning being hounded by the media. Thorne & Macy were rising international pop stars so it'd be logical that the media would be all over this. In the real world and any other soap, the murder of a Top Model by the son of an elite fashion house would be a completely salacious and delicious story chock full of different angles - from the rival design house angle, the scandalous Forrester clan, Thorne publicly dumping Ivana for Macy, Macy's alcoholism, the stalker issue, etc. Strangely, B&B has relegated this to a C-level story that I forget about until it resurfaces every few episodes.
I wish the models’ screeching fest was set up by Brooke, with her making some kind of ridiculous entrance in the end. It would’ve been hilarious with Eric being present!
Brooke would never.. Not with Ridge 😂
Her competitive self side eyes any model around Ridge
And Omar is landing without any seat belt. Great.
😂😂😂😂😂
A super prince with super power doesnt need that 😂😂😂
Ridge to Eric: _Have you ever had something happen to you that was so unexpected so completely beyond anything you could possibly imagine that you don't even know how to process it?_
😅 Eric's imagination might have already adapted, thanks to his shocking experiences:
- Ridge ending up sleeping with Thorne's wife, thanks to a prank, and then ending up being shot in the head by Thorne, but Thorne not remembering it
- Eric's daughter Angela suddenly being alive, when she was supposed to have died at birth, then learning that that Angela was just a pretender and his daughter is dead
- his son and his wife betraying Eric and having a child together
...
Ridge, you can just really tell Eric about your dead wife Taylor not being dead.
😂😂
Not to mention, Eric getting his company taken away from him by his ex wife, who slept with his son while they were married and (seemingly) fathered a child with her🥴
And then wait til Eric finds out about Sheila 😂. That will also fall right into that category.
@@TriniT21 😂 Or how Eric's firstborn son then got Brooke to sign the papers but then Ridge took the unsigned copy, and how Stephanie even had the papers in her hand but left them with Brooke, thinking it was the unsigned copy.... Maybe Eric's worst nightmares have played out already.... or could he ever dreamed up all these unexpected turns?
Brad Bell really felt that all models are dumb hah? lol
That honestly was a general perception of models back then. The 90s was a very snarky and cynical decade lol.
Not only the models, the viewers too.
When Anthony tells Macy, about the trip to Mexico, "you'll look back on this, and you'll realize how significant this was", that sounds like foreshadowing, doesn't it?
Ironically, Anthony is the one who sets this plot development in motion, and yet it ends up working to his _disadvantage._
And no red flags to be seen anywhere 🚩🚩
It's interesting how the moment in this story when the viewer starts getting Anthony's POV (post-Ivana's murder) is when he starts slipping up. He's still able to manipulate and move the plot (like he does getting Macy to go to Mexico with him) but he's also been sloppy (getting caught celebrating by Dylan), he's been comically unhinged (getting upset when he hears Thorne on the duet with Macy), and now as you say he's setting in motion a plot that will work against him. It's almost as if he needs to be mysterious and at a remove from the viewer to be powerful.
And this is another way he's different from Sheila of course who derives a lot of her long-term viability from being able to connect with the audience.
@@NewYorkNick0607 great point! I think it's a sign that even though we are getting Anthony's point of view, we are not supposed to _connect_ with him. His point of view is not a human one but rather "showing the audience the hidden bo mb in the room" to use a metaphor from your Hitchcock surprise vs suspense comment.
And, to reconnect this to the Iago comparison, this corresponds with how Agatha Christie does a character analysis of Iago in one of her mystery novels (which has a Iago-like mur derer) - she has the detective talk about how Iago was the perfect mur derer, but how Shakespeare _had_ to have him make unnecessary mistakes because the plot required that he get caught.
@@annieo6527just want to point out that Anthony is doing the reverse psychology on Sally (as per our first discussion when I jokingly said it about Macy 😂)
@@TriniT21true! Planting suggestions is Anthony's favorite modus operandi.
Macy thinks she has it bad ask Thorn!!
While I can get that Ridge might question if Taylor still remembers the private dinning room (didn't she suffer from amnesia? ), it kinda sounds funny that the man, who just got his full sight back a day ago, asks Taylor if she can get over there on her own.
Macy call Gladys for your disguise needs😂
😂😂😂
Come to think of it, Macy is like the one character on the show who has _never_ worn a disguise. There were two major costume balls in the 90s featuring virtually the entire cast, and both times Macy didn't go.
Yes😂. Give Gladys some work and more air time.
And she'd prob figure Anthony out from the first time she sees him 😂
How come that at Spectra Macy and the others have to deal with the journalists asking about Thorne
- and at FC there are no annoying journalists, Eric and Ridge no not even mention Thorne?
I just wrote a comment that the journalists seem to know nobody cares about Thorne over at Forrester 😂

Ridge should rest his eyes and recouperate a bit.
Ridge is not responding as he should to Taylor. I expected this from him. Good lord Omar is so damn good looking. I would hop back on that plane with him myself. Taylor ends up broken down and alone anyway thanks to Ridge so she would have been better off with a man who adored her.
The fact she doesn't love him, or that he was the first who could have told Ridge is wife was still alive, before his sandy wedding, are good enough reasons to hate him.
Adored her?? He was keeping her prisoner and was manipulating her too. He may be good looking, but his character is creepy and obsessive. And Taylor doesn't love him either!🙈

Taylor once again being dramatic. Letting her father believe she's abandoning him only to waltz back in. Just kidding, Dad LOL...I love breaking your heart so I can come back and hear how important I am to you while I keep talking about Ridge who I've also played head games with. Taylor is a nut case.
