That was an excellent movie Christina and Nikolai they were both beautiful and that was an excellent lesson to be taught and her dad would’ve never let anything happen to her. Wow, very good. A lot of people should watch this, especially those women who think they’re better than everybody thank you and God bless.

Deeply inspiring movie. Clean family friendly with great lesson on the blessing of hard work and sacrificial love. So happy the movie showed the beautiful side of Russian people, rather than the horrible hollywood vilification. Started slow. Lip-synching wasn't as high grade but a whole lot better than just text on screen. The depth of the story and the sacrifices for love made by parent and a mystery lover, moved us to be blessed. Highly recommend it. What would have made the movie even greater would have been to show the beautiful heart of Orthodox Christian faith in Russia that builds such a strong character in their people, despite decades of discrimination and killings by former atheist socialist leaders under the USSR. (Only caviat- Dad having a lady living in the same house before being married was NOT healthy or family friendly, although nothing in insinuated or shown in anything physical between them. )

So it's a Russian film, made in 2014, with English dubbed voices. So funny...but wow, the streets are so clean over there! No chewing gum spotted all over the streets...amazing!
She learned the real life cycle the hard way. The little spoiled girl turn miraculously a real woman. She now knows how life hard could be.
Most importantly the young man learned a life time lesson from his grandmother. Doing a favor for poor little girl, hosting her, getting a job for her, he lid a light on her life.
The Russian name of this film is "Полцарства за любовь" (Half of the Kingdom for a Love). Yulia Parshuta (Christina here) is my favorite singer. She is a good actress too.

A young girl, the daughter of a rich businessman, returns home to Russia from England, where she studied and spent a long time. The person is very spoiled, rude and has only partying and entertainment on her mind. It hurts my father to look at this and he decides to experiment, but not alone, but with his young handsome assistant. For a person who was used to not working and living on everything ready-made, the trials, of course, seemed difficult, but she did not retreat and achieved her goal. The ending was simply amazing) Romantic, interesting, beautiful and all that stuff) I liked the film, I advise you to watch it too! It contains love, light comedy, funny episodes, and it’s just interesting to watch beautiful characters and their story."

Wow. This is awful - it'd be better to hear the actual language with English subtitles rather than dubbing English voices over. Kingdom? That is a standard home - not a castle or millionaire's home.

I don´t know, but am I the only one who thinks that the voices sound kind of funny? I mean, I am not a native speaker, but that´s what I gather - like those old bad quality language training courses - somewhat stiff and unnatural. Also, the voices sound so similar and robot like - it is so distracting - can´t watch it...
