I have now received a great offer from a friendly RUclipsr. He is willing to make drawings of my Tiny Toolgrinder! So, if all goes well, a video will be released soon with drawings and some detailed information about the construction.
From design to fabrication it is a demonstration of remarkable talent. Well thought out, compact and smooth. Bravo! I am commenting on this particular video because I would like the name of the first musical piece, I tried searches for the titles given, but could not find this particular piece. Starts at the :37 ends on the 12:49 mark
Thank you! Actually, it's two pieces of music: MaxKoMusic, Beauty until 2:51 www.free-stock-music.com/maxkomusic-beauty.html followed by: RicharlisomTrabalho (Brasil), Fundo Musical Relaxante Para Meditação pixabay.com/da/users/richarlisomtrabalho
Instead of trepanning I've been using a woodworking trim router with Ti N coated carbide milling bits mounted in place of tool-post. Until relatively recently, I don't think I've needed to do any trepanning since I was training in mid 1970's Even running at far too high a speed (20,000+rpm) I've cut over 1000mm (multiple round blanks) in 5/16" (8mm?) steel plate without end mill wearing out (1/8"- 3mm bits) Are you using 10mm, 15mm and 20mm cold rolled steel?
Thomas Kaemmerer has made the most beautiful drawings! See part VII for more information on how to get these drawings for free.
I'm a tool grinder myself! and I've been excited to see this project come along, really wish this side of machining got more love
