The FX version of JF17 will fix all the issues you discussed, and it will be upgraded to a fully 4.5 gen fighter. and it will be inducted around the timeline when Mk2 of tejas gets inducted. Don't trash the Aircraft when you know nothing about the development cycle.

When did it take tejas 40 years to make if u are talking about the concept then your own f 16 concept was created in 1960s and first plane was made in 1970s if u take concept as the time then your f16s are 63 year old aircraft and second point tejas concept is 40 year old not tejas tejas started its development in 1997 to 1998 when indian economy started growing because of 1992 economic liberalization and original tejas were manifactured ages ago now the development is on tejas mk1a which is totally different aircraft(most of the parts). Now the problem is engine not the aircraft which will soon be resolved and the point in late 2000s china was only producing 3rd gen soviet aircrafts and usa was producing 5th gen aircrafts did the land lord of pakistan i mean china stooped r&d on their aircrafts😊😊 as usual bharkistanis bharking on youtube coments

I don't know when Indians and Pakistanis are going to be mature enough to accept each other's successes and failures. I subscribed to this channel coz it used to give somewhat more technical and unbiased news and opinions. But unfortunately that's not the case anymore.
The international jet sales are intricate and complex in nature.
No plane is inferior or superior because fighters are expensive to build and operate and no country will ever choose to invest billions of dollars to induct an inferior product. So cut this crap of JF is junk and Tejas is samosa. I can give alot of positives for JFs and Tejas and negatives for both as well but people here are driven by emotions and not the logic.

This lame as* dude is just underplaying JF-17 making it seems like it's just a replacement to old era jets to a point not even calling it a 4.5 gen jet lol their superiority complex is very apparent and they just hate to admit the reality. Weaponary on Jeff is actually very much capable and that's why it's doing good with exports. Plus their are so many indigenious compenents in the Jeff that are solely manufactured in Pakistan including electronic boards and design along with communication signatures and China often provides us toll manufacturing services that doesn't mean the component itself is Chinese made but oh well. Let them have their tears for now.

I have a neutral question for Indians. Let’s assume the Tejas is a much better jet than the JF-17, but it is still an early prototype. When will it be inducted into the IAF, and when will the assembly line mature enough for exports? Suppose the Tejas/samosa is ready for export at a price of $50 million per jet. Which country would buy it? A wealthy country could invest a bit more to get an F-16 Block 70, which is a better offer. Poorer countries won't afford it either. What will the Tejas/samosa market look like?
