    Thanks for the shout out. I was watching the samples displayed at the top of the screen when you hooked up to the led. With two channels operating, it displayed 35 Meg, half of the 70 Meg maximum. But the Samples per second was only at 125 MSa/s. That's one eighth of the maximum. I think that happened when you pressed the Auto button. It changed the original value you had set. I didn't go back and re-watch, I'm just going from what I thought I saw. I thought I was happy with my ATO1104. Then you showed me this. Dang! I gotta start saving up again. Great and very informative video my friend. Thank you for putting your time into it.

      The thing is. Just like cell phones, they’ll just come out with another one. I guess that’s just how it is. They should make a customer appreciation program, that allows you to trade your previous scope in for a newer model. That would be cool.

      I know what you mean though. I thought I was happy with my ATO, until I saw they came out with this one. At least we can still use out ATO’s. I personally know that Apple does things to iPhones that force you to upgrade. I had an iPhone 7 for years. I saw no point in upgrading. I didn’t need all the new features on the new ones. Then suddenly my battery kept dying quickly. So I ordered a new battery off Amazon. This worked for a while. Then it just started doing everything super slow. Then this last year my cell company says we have to upgrade from 3G. So we had to get new phones. I think that’s BS. But what are you gonna do, you know? The way of the world, I guess. Good talking to you my friend.

    that ground terminal for min noise interference when low voltage setting i guess may be floating ground for scope better for share ground

    Can you move the trigger on X axis? Let's say you want to want to move a trigger locked wave form left to right (ie injector wave). Is it possible or does it keep it centered only? Thx

    • @atomsworkshop195
      @atomsworkshop195  2 года назад +1

      I am only aware of triggers on Y axis up and down. To my knowledge it stays in the middle until you pause the scope, then you can scroll through left or right.

    • @VashthStampeede
      @VashthStampeede 2 года назад +2

      When you scroll the screen left or right, the trigger also moves left or right. If the trigger is not centered, when you change time-base, the trigger can be sent off the screen. When that happens, your trigger symbol will be pegged in the upper corner and the symbol will point in the direction of the trigger's location instead of downward. You can also see where it is in the little location bar at the top of the screen.

      @@VashthStampeede another question...do you have the option to set up a custom probe? Let's say you want to configure an amp clamp 10mv/A or 100mv/A, does the scale show you the amps value or the mV value? Thank you.

    Have you had the chance to use a aultel scope. I have a 2 channel snap-on fluke and micsig but want to get a 4 channel. Been trying to decide between the new micsig or get one from aultel that works with the aultel scanner

    • @atomsworkshop195
      @atomsworkshop195  Год назад

      Hey there Noneya 2926. I have an Autel Scantool, but not an Autel scope. I did look into it before j bought my first Micsig, but I believe the Micsig is a better scope. With that said, I don’t know how much, if any, the Autel has changed since then. I would like to compare them side by side though. I think, if I were in your shoes, I would sell your two channel Micsig and and get the new 4 channel Micsig. I really like the new Micsig. However, it’s the only brand scope I’ve used personally. I think the only other ones I would want, would be the new Pico or the ATS eSCOPE elite. Anyway, good luck and let us know what you decide. Thanks for the comment.

    how many waveforms/s has sato1004 ? 130000 permanently or sequencial ?

    • @atomsworkshop195
      @atomsworkshop195  2 года назад

      I believe it’s 150,000 waveforms. Not sure if permanent or sequential.

      @@atomsworkshop195 I measured at my sto1104 with method presented on micsig channel and only at 2MHz is 130000 in the rest is slower

      Yeah, I just looked it up, and it says Up to 130,000wfms/s waveform capture. I appreciate your input for sure. I definitely do not know everything, and made this channel so we can all help each other. Thanks my friend.
