    I have a '12 pursuit with 110k miles. It's been great! I did have to replace the radiator due to a small leak becoming too large to ignore. Did hoses along with it and a new serpentine belt. When the front is off the car, replace the stuff while you're there. New headlights also went in...plastic lenses in the southwest get seriously jacked from UV. Had to figure out why the left rear door had no window nor power lock operation. For some reason, the wiring harness had been disconnect inside the door pillar. Once located and connected, all was well. Car had brand new tires when I got it and man the car just hugs the pavement and is rock solid as you would expect a police suspension to be. Nice video!

      Garrett Marchione I have not had that issue, Honestly your best bet would just be to try to trace the wires. Different departments up for their cars differently. More than likely the horn was wired into a siren. Might be difficult to trace. Or you could just try to run wires to the horn and have an auxiliary button to activate it.

    • @wjye
      @wjye  4 года назад

      Hey neighbor! If you're familiar with driving RWD cars in the snow, this wont be too much different. I'll say that the electric traction control on this car is phenomenal, never got stuck and even with lots of ice on the pavement it kept me moving forward. The best advice I have is get good snow tires, with decent snow shoes this car would be very good in the snow for a RWD car. Totally manageable.

    • @wjye
      @wjye  5 лет назад +5

      It would be hard to give an opinion without seeing the car in person and hearing it run. If your serious about the car and you can test drive it, I'd highly recommend doing that. If your not mechanically inclined, take it to a shop and have it checked out by a trusted mechanic. These are pretty decent cars, but some engines have cam/lifter issues that could be expensive to repair if it happens.

I heard dealer has to calibrate something on it though which could be the issue since my seat was already replaced and possibly done third party without calibrating. Some pressure sensor needs calibration for resting state or something. SH00T TH3PUMP part number for the console? The console can be found at any Walmart or auto store. Nothing special. I’d like to get a nicer and better console at some point but this cheapy does the job

      SH00T TH3PUMP and no modifications really, it’s screwed into a police console mounting plate so it’s sturdy. I just don’t like the console cause it feels flimsy to me.

    Hello. I’m from Ukraine and I’d like to buy charger to. Is Dodge Charger reliable vehicle? In your opinion. I would buy 3.6 coz custom fee is too much for 5.7 in my country. Some words please.

    • @wjye
      @wjye  3 года назад +1

      In my personal opinion I find that the charger is pretty reliable. However it is worth noting that every vehicle is different, and being that you’re in the Ukraine you probably have a very slim picking of what Chargers you can find. If you can thoroughly go through and check the car out, just find the best one you can get.

      wjye thanks for answer. I’d like to buy from Copart auction coz I work as a autobody man in Kyiv. I am going to repear it and enjoy my car. Couple questions plz: clearance to small in this car, is it true? . Do u have a problem wіth alternator? What kind a problem do u have with the car? This is my dream to buy a charger. And I collect the money coz if I’ll buy the car for 3000 I’ll pay 7000( custom fee, moving to Ukraine, ets) But I’m going to my dream bro. Good luck to u . All the the best

    • @wjye
      @wjye  3 года назад +1

      @@welcomebitch4465 I can’t speak for the 3.6L engine, but the 5.7l is kinda tight and the clearance is a bit close in the engine bay, but it’s not terrible. I don’t know much about the V6 to say what common issues it has, but I hear they’re reliable.

    Sorry dude, Detroit Axle sells pretty crappy parts. I wouldn't put parts from them on a car I am selling tomorrow.
    OSP cars are decent if you get a decent one. 50% of the ones they sell have lifter noise though. I have 3 right this second from OSP that the engines are coming apart due to noise. 1st one is currently apart with 3 bad lifters (roller follower gets sloppy) and one of the lifters ground into 1 lobe of the cam.
    The water pumps really don't leak, its the rubber gasket that gets hard and lets go. Sway bar bushings also get pretty sloppy and causes a suspension clunking noise.

    • @wjye
      @wjye  4 года назад

      Ive had their tie rods on the car for almost a year with no issues. Ran the part numbers and they came back as Mevotech or something similar, either way its a brand I was familiar with. As for this car, its been fantastic. 3 years and over 40k miles and its been perfectly reliable. No odd noises or issues. I think I lucked out and got a good one.
