Swans haven't beat a side above them so far in 2024
Yep. Absolute pretenders can’t beat the teams above them.
This is going to be the new ad nauseam comment in all of these videos 🥱
oh and also: I don't know if you've heard, but premierships aren't won in May/June (now July, soon August and soon September - oh wait!)
False alarmers.
Played no one.
Terrible side
That’s because there hasn’t been anyone you fool 🤣🤣
"Essendon fell so quickly at the end of last year, they got the bends" - David that was hilarious. I really like the show with you 2 guys.
No longer having preseasons in Ibiza, and a proper full back this time round. Throw in Durham's rise.
He thought he was witty except that you get the bends from RISING too fast from depth, not descending too fast.
Yes that's true but it was still funny@@thattassiewargamer
Even if Freo lose this week, they’ll have Cox back for 4 very winnable games, and when they take on Essendon, Port, Geelong, and GWS, they’ll (barring some freak injuries) have their best list for the 1st time this year.
Pearce, Ryan, Cox, and Clark are all AA material, and a team with all of them is not likely to be a bad one.
I'm glad they brought up the Petracca situation. I watched as he went back out onto the ground. I am not a doctor but have worked in the Allied Health field. I knew he was in trouble as he ran back out. He was grimacing & in real distress. How did the doctors not pick up on this. I have seen many people in Palliative Care & know how to recognise distress. The other problem for me is he spent several days in ICU. You only go to ICU if there is a chance you could die. An exploded spleen WILL threaten your life. Let me be clear, a punctured lung, 4 broken ribs & an exploded spleen. A simple pressure test on the areas of pain would have told any doctor worth their salt that he was not fit to continue. This was negligent.
Glad someone put it so well - I was wondering the same thing just looking at the image of him curled into the foetal position on the ground right after the hit.
Thanks doc 😆
He chose to go back out there. Gutsy effort but in hindsight pretty foolish.
@@iankearns774 when a person is in that situation and the pain is so great their judgement us impaired. He should never have been given the chance to go back out. As I said, a simple pressure test would have brought him undone and also proved he needed to go to hospital. The scream would have been heard over the crowd
@@wolftone57 I agree with you, his adrenalin was flying. So he still thought he could run through a brick wall. But he was badly hurt, the medicos should have overruled him.
LMAO when Kane is asked who is to blame for GWS down form and he says says "It's on the coach". 😅
When Port loses, it's the player's fault.
When any other team loses, it is the coaching.
Freo's backline is missing a few, not just Pearce. Also missing Oscar MacDonald and Brennan Cox. FFS Kingy, take your hand off it. We are fielding a team as young as the Hawks list you love, but we are 5th from the top, not 5th from the bottom.
You got pumped by 70 two weeks ago
@@ltpiz Pumped demons the week before that
@@ltpiz Yes we did, and the Swans lost to Richmond. Everyone has an off day.
@@joshmc5882 losing by 70 ain’t a off day my friend 😂😂
Every year Freo overrate their team they are like the mid 2000 Carlton supporters where every year it will be there year and then the excuses start. It's like they are on a other planet with their perceptions 😂
if the dons beat cats this week id say they are a lock
For finals absolutely. But Essendon are still Essendon, they are very capable of getting done by 60 against Freo in an elimination final
@@TheMissiIeNot in Melbourne
@@john8443 Definitely still a chance of a disappointing loss. I hope Essendon win a final tho, can’t stand all this hate towards the bombers
a lock but they would still be yet to beat a top performing side
@@TheMissiIethey’ve competed well with Sydney and Carlton, only team to score 100+ v the Swans, destroyed Carlton in inside 50s and had more scoring shots despite the loss. They’re far more consistent now, that Sam Durham is a jet.
Swans, Carlton & Collingwood are the locks
Also Essendon if they make a finals to lose and go straight out is very close to being a lock 😂
@@joshuasadler9243 If Bombers are 5th to 8th they are going out in the first week of finals.
@@iankearns774 hopefully as a pies supporter always love to laugh at them but the other teams that would potentially finish in the other spots aren't particularly playing that great footy so they actually have a chance of winning a final.
Brisbane think just because they beat a bottom 4 team like Port Adel now all of a sudden they got a chance. Keep the jokes coming we need a good laugh
@@joshuasadler9243not really, there actually playing decent footy and have improved. Put ur hate aside to them and admit they have potential to win one or 2 in September
Freo will make the 8.
Well, Fremantle back 6 stood up and Josh Draper after a handful games was superb. Cox is on a steady recovery from a serious hamstring.
I just don't understand all the hate for Kane. I reckon he's a ripper. People crack the shits when he criticizes their team, and call him a shock jock...it's ludicrous....he speaks his mind, he speaks the truth, and he leaves all the double-speak nonsense to the suits at AFL House. We need more like him, not less!
true, I love him but he's not perfect. Sometimes shows bias for some clubs, against some clubs/players and sometimes can't accept when he's got it wrong. But love watching his segments
news flash, barras has already won a prem
Swans percentage is way above anyone else for the season but what's the percentage difference of the last 6-8 weeks. Brisbane have a very health percentage after a terrible start to the season.
not % but the differences:
1) 27
2) 42
3) 30
4) 14
5) 52
6) 48
So I'm gonna say the Swans' % is sitll likely to be well above any other team in the last 6 weeks given that no team kicked over 100 in that time
@@dilanabey I didn't want to do the maths but since you forced me. For the last 6 rounds Sydney is 629 points for, 416 against - 151.2%. Brisbane is 720 points for, 484 points against, - 148.7%. Swans are still favourite but I wouldn't take it as a given that it's in the bag.
don't have graphics at the bottom which obscure the youtube controls, thanks
To answer Kane’s question regarding Brennan Cox, Cox hasn’t played since round 1 due to a severe hamstring injury. He made a return last weekend playing restricted minutes (60) for Peel Reserves. He’ll play for Peel League this weekend with a view to returning to the Dockers the following week.
The boys were hilarious this morning, had me laughing in the scramble.
Sydney and Carlton are comfortable in the top 2, Brisbane's win over Melbourne puts them in 5th with a good percentage but can drop out of the top 8 down to 9th. If Fremantle wins 3-4 of the remaining 5 games at Optus and all winnable that should secure finals. Collingwood in the top 4, keep getting the job done with 8 wins and 2 draws from the past 11 matches. The only problem people have with Essendon is are they going to flop like 2012 and last season? But I have more confidence now, as I predicted them to finish 8th and they sit 3rd past the halfway mark of the season. Sydney, Carlton, Fremantle, Essendon, Collingwood and Brisbane are my Locks to make the 8.
Freo back 6 in the gun & pressure on Luke Ryan 😂 he’s the same height as Dan Houston ffs ….. Pearce, Cox & McDonald are injured. Davies & Draper are only just AFL ready give him a break ffs.
Why would anyone do anything on the advice of Gary Lyon?
They got the bends they fell that quick 😂
@@MrBuzzman1 You get the bends coming up too quickly, not down
David, tell us, do you talk to the greatest footballer you've ever played with? You know who I'm talking about & I don't like the guy at all but he was a great player.
If Port keep going with their woeful.skills they won't be in the 12. Does anyone know if they have a skills coach at Port Adel?? They seem to kick it to the opposition a lot and miss from directly In front lol ???? They can Start their training mid September 2024 for the 2025 season. Alberton 5am every morning until they can kick straight 10 in a row. Like all good athletes without egos do. They might make a final then.
As a crows fan i love the call from Kane on max.
Weve got nothing to hope for in terms of real success this season throw some changes around and see what they can do.
Get max and rachele in the middle more.
If we dont have the faith in o'brien give Thilthope the no1 ruck in a couple weeks once hes got some match fitness back.
Just try something different cause for whatever reason this season has just been the same old story for nicks entire coaching career "we rarely get it done in the close ones"
Weather its the coaching or the players just not being good enough i dont know anymore but its frustrating as fuck this season
Fireball !! 🎶
Do do do do do do😂
I said it all year , no doubt in my mind it will be syd and Coll GF
Kingy has a go at Kane for flip flopping. Kingy is the biggest flip flopper going around. And, worst judge going around. Glad he isn't an expert tipster in the gallops!
If you can rely on anything, it’s Kingy having a dig at the bombers
Obviously Gossage didn't complete the 12 steps
I came for the info... i wont stay sorry 😅
Drop the means test
I agree with kingy lions and doggies are coming in to the eight
Why are you wasting breath talking about Tim Gossage?
Come on fellas, Sports media is becoming like politics, Full of Maybe, perhaps, possible with the ifs and buts all without the Kosher😀
kane doesn't go up and down on the bulldogs, only down lol
Dons to beat swans round 23
who tf is tim gossige?
Collingwood are way overrated this year. Calling them a lock is crazy. They got belted by an undermanned bulldogs should’ve lost to north and Adelaide but umpires saved them
Kane Cornes can never say what he actually thinks about port Adelaide. If the saints wins this week, the coach gets the coach gets the sack
Swans will lose atleast 2 games I would think
sigh, king over here with the asf sliding doors. dont be stupid.
Ffs Kingy go after Kane when it comes to Port he’s such a hypocrite it’s borderline insulting to the audience.
Kingy should have his own show. Should separate himself from cornes
Goss is one eyes eagles and should not be on any radio station or commentary ever. He is a tool
Calling it dons Sydney gf
Dons have played five top-eight teams for one win and one draw. I believe they're playing really good footy but it's also pretty easy to look good against average teams. So we'll have to wait and see how they go against the really good sides to see where they actually sit. I'm not saying they're no good - I'm really enjoying the way they've been playing - but I'd just want to see them play some tidier opponents before making any finals predictions about them.
How can it be Sydney dons? When there can't be 3 teams, and freo a lock for it
The Bombers are only average and are living above their station. They'll play finals, but could go out without winning one again to extend that winless stretch to about 20 years.
@@Zelmazam1 😂
@@Zelmazam1free will lose in the finals lol
