Regarding arranged marriages. The point is,'How well have your choices been so far?'. Are you even dating to marry or just smashing and birthday gifts and dinners? So we have a fundamental problem where we don't even think of long-term pairing. Which is what arranged marriage is about. Long-term unions, not vibes. Introductions are not arranged marriages which involve families knowing each other or parents. So you have a safety net for issues.

I had the opportunity to observe a good number of young Indian developers going through arranged marriages. These were young well-to-do, educated families...so I don't know how it goes for Indians in rural areas, but this is how it went for them, both the young men and the young women: At some point they decided they were ready to get married, so they told their parents, "Find me somebody." After a few weeks, their parents had found three or so "candidates," sometimes back in India, sometimes in the States. It was always their mothers who were working with matchmakers to find compatible people with good backgrounds and prospects for the future. And the fact is, no parents want ugly grandchildren. So, they'd take a vacation to meet the candidates to see if there was chemistry. Sometimes they'd come back still single, saying, "I didn't like any of them, so I told my parents to find someone else." They had a veto, both the men and the women, and that veto was the important thing.
Now this I can more so get with, the candidate still having the ultimate authority to choose rather than being forced to marry someone they didn't like.
Its already slim pickings. It'll be "No pickings" soon enough. Our marriage rate will drop even lower. At this rate, we'll only marry at a single digit rate.

I actually have been saying for the past few months that the only way we will get black families and black communities back is by having arranged marriages. The Mexicans have come to this country and lapped us. They have families and communities. Their men can make 30k a year and his woman is right by his side. Our women NEED us to make 100k a year, and even if we do, they still don't listen. We are losing badly, and the reason is clearly that single women are leading the community right now, not a father being the head of the house.

Arranged marriages won't save the Black Community. BW are a major problem fed by other society issues. Single mother homes, a lack of good father figures/male role models. Interference by the government/culture causing broken homes, broken people (corrupted family court system, thug culture, a push to be hedonistic by the system, etc). There needs to be a total overhaul of the systems in place (a good start would be to get rid of government/political/market interference). Values etc need to be reinstated, people need to be held accountable for their own choices, women need to have all their 'nets' that relieved them of hard consequences for horrible choices removed. For most of the women atm in the USA, they have been subverted into thinking it's ok to behave so horribly. Idk if there is anything to do but to try to reach them, but for alot they are too far gone into their warped thinking.

Arranged marriages won't save the Black Community. BW are a major problem fed by other society issues. Single mother homes, a lack of good father figures/male role models. Interference by the government/culture causing broken homes, broken people (corrupted family court system, thug culture, a push to be hedonistic by the system, etc). There needs to be a total overhaul of the systems in place (a good start would be to get rid of government/political/market interference). Values etc need to be reinstated, people need to be held accountable for their own choices, women need to have all their 'nets' that relieved them of hard consequences for horrible choices removed. For most of the women atm in the USA, they have been subverted into thinking it's ok to behave so horribly. Idk if there is anything to do but to try to reach them, but for alot they are too far gone into their warped thinking.

But I will say this if you’re serious about being in a healthy long-term relationship do not date someone who is raised differently than you when it comes to how many parents were in the household as well as finances because you guys will never see eye to eye on those two major points that break relationships up.
