- “As long as I can walk and I can talk, I will be telling the story of the holocaust,” says survivor, teacher and lecturer Renee Firestone. Why? Because according to her, society has learned nothing since the holocaust. Firestone also shares the anguish of losing her friends, family and neighbors, and the guilt of being the only survivor of her clan left to tell the story.
Thankfully, Mrs. Firestone is still alive and living in So. Cal. She's 98. It's incredible that she survived the holocaust and is still with us today. There is an excellent video on youtube from 1994 when she is interviewed by the USC Shoah Foundation. She tells the incredible story of her life, and the video also shows her return to Auschwitz. The stories she tells are hard to believe, but they really happened.
So beautifully articulate and lovely woman! Her story is unbelievable !!!
Thank you for your testimony, God bless , I wish you a good health 🇦🇺🙏🍀
Never forget.
I absolutely love listening to Renee. She has a long interview on the Shoah Foundation RUclips.
Thank God she knows people are responsible for themselves for their decisions in life. Appreciate this lady’s life and her true account / story of her life & the evil, wretched & wicked things done to them during the Holocaust .
Very great lady!
Why did the student rush through the introduction of Renee????
She was probably nervous.
She didn’t rehearse
She seems nervous.
The student seemed nervous, maybe that is why she rushed.
She needs to slow down and breathe between sentences
