The body of Dharampreet Singh, a soldier from Bhagthalan village of Faridkot, who joined the army about six years ago, arrived at his native village Bhagthalan today wrapped in tricolor, which made everyone's eyes wet. Suddenly his health deteriorated and he was immediately admitted to the hospital but he died after a while. Residents reached there and local MLA Gurdit Singh Sekhon also offered prayers who consoled the family.
