Me too and it's not even because the other modes are bad, I'm just enjoying zombies that much. Haven't touched the campaign, barely played Nuketown 24/7. Now the new map is coming lol
It’s always been this way for me. I began playing zombies because it felt innovative and more like an actual video game compared to normal call of duty. It’s getting tougher lately for treyarch to do things that feel innovative and it’s felt like a struggle since revelations but they still have their moments
one pet peeve i have in the game is the floor loot collection. sometimes it feels like you're running over salvage/armor plates and they don't get picked up when they should be. just some increased logic/radius for pickup would be great. seems to be really weird with armor after you plate up as pieces you're standing on/near don't seem to get collected unless you manually interact, or run away for a second then run back to collect.
Or if you have no lethal it should just pick up any off the floor without you promoting with a key press. If you have a lethal already it picks up a second if it’s the same, so I don’t know why it won’t if you have no lethal. I know you wouldn’t want to be running over and picking up shit you may not want but it’s better than trying to scoop shit off the floor when you’re hauling ass.
One thing I’ll say is I think Gamepass does help the franchise out. For example my brother who subscribes to Gamepass he hasn’t played a Call of Duty game since Black Ops 2. So having Call of Duty accessible on Gamepass made Black Ops 6 a perfect re entry point into the franchise for him. Because of this I was able to play Call of Duty with my brother for the first time. Now that he’s hooked into cod again I was able to do a lot of zombies stuff with him like teach him how to do his first zombies Easter eggs and get him to higher rounds he’s got to in the past. We’ve had a great time playing the game together and we’re both excited for the next zombies to map to play together.
I'm in the exact same boat as your brother. I haven't played since Black Ops 2. Once I saw Black Ops 6 on Gamepass I figured I'd give it a try and I really like it.
One thing I really miss are the dynamic voice lines that the older zombies crews had, especially in BO3 and BO4, where the game was aware of which characters were currently in the match and would have unique voice lines for those characters to interact with each other. Even today, I can go back and play those games and still sometimes hear lines of dialogue I've never heard before, despite having hundreds of hours in those games. And that is simply because they put a TON of care and detail into what scenarios would trigger voice lines, and they'd have different things to say based on what other characters were nearby, and sometimes they'd even chat back and forth for a couple lines. Nowadays, even the dedicated zombies operators have really hollow, nothing-burger voice lines, and they'll sometimes act like they're talking to other members of the crew even when no one else in the game is playing the character they're trying to talk to. On top of all this, I've noticed that not all players in the lobby even hear the same voice lines! Before, you could hear a character say something really funny, and everyone near you in the lobby would've heard the same thing, so you could all laugh about it. But nowadays, when a voice line is triggered it seems to be randomly selected client-side or something, because one person may hear something worth commenting on, but no one else heard that same line, so you kind of just have to awkwardly restate it for them. It makes the game feel so much less alive and really hurts the super fun character dynamics that the mode used to have. There used to be an impressive attention to detail in the dialogue, and really humorous lines that would crack everyone up, but now it feels so much more shallow and devoid of any kind of charm.
the thing i dislike most about the new crew is that theyre all the "serious badass" archetype. what made the original crew so memorable was the goofy shit they said while still being serious at times. yea the new characters have some comedic quips every now and then but its all so forced compared to the older games. meanwhile in bo3 you have jeff goldblum in your ear saying funny shit all the time in shadows. its an improvement from cold war sure but the bar was super low from that game as it lacked soul in general. and god i hate that they brought back peck he was the stupidest motherfucker and least interesting character in CW.
@kernelscout3077 the new crew are normal people richtofen for example is a crazy scientist zesty dude but i do get where your coming from. Just give the game time, treyarch have finally figured out what to do since they've now had time to think they had to rush cw
I’m new to the zombies community and this channel. But I absolutely love the passion and humbleness you show to your viewers but also make content worth engaging with. May all your dreams come true
Watch out for all the Doomer Boomers from my generation (I'm 26), don't let the gaslight you into agreeing with their preferences as many of them are driven by Nostalgia!
Lmao dude... i did terminus rd 51 and 4.5 hour game and with the boss at 3% health, shooting all I had left from beamsmasher from behind, I got hit from a zombie that was freaking stunned 😅 and died. That was 2nd attempt too, so had about 10 hours in that challenge. I beat it 3rd try flawlessly no brag. To know your about to try again and its a min of 3 hours to get another try hahaha it's hell.
I play multiplayer mainly ,but a couple times a week I like to hop on zombies and chill with a video in the background, and a big problem I have with zombies is I don’t like the HUD . I don’t like the map on , the zombie health bars , kill metals, and I like playing with the classic layout in the presets . Which is all fine I can just turn them off, but every time I go back into multiplayer I have to turn them all back on and switch my HUD preset and all that. Not the biggest issue but it would be nice if we could save presets of our own.
@@samjohnson4290 I mean I’m cool with health bars for special, elite and bosses. But everything else nah. Also 50/50 on the map its lowkey useful for some EE steps.
@@dastar5721 ya I agree , sometimes it’s kinda annoying having it off for the elite zombies but , I just feel like it’s too much on my screen… just my personal opinion though, I don’t think it should be removed or anything 👍
I find it strange how the maps just… begin? For example, in Black Ops 3 there would be a fade-in transition into the map from the loading screen with iconic music to kick off the map. It feels much more abrupt in Black Ops 6. Feels less unique in my opinion.
One thing I don't see a lot of people talking about is the impact on this game from it being part of the live service genre. I feel like we lost out on a lot of fun with the introduction of the battlepass and shop to the game. We lose out on interesting conversations about how our friends unlocked certain cool cosmetics and the different ways you could go about unlocking them. With things like the item shop the conversation ends like "hey that's a dope skin, how did you get that?" "Oh, I just bought it from the shop for like $30" "oh." There's nothing interesting or fun about that and I feel like it's a majorly over-looked topic with games in general. There was definitely a certain charm we lost in the pre-season. Edit: this is not a complaint, just an observation.
I feel like this complaint is completely irrelevant . Would you rather just not have the game at all or would you rather them be able to afford to make the game as fun as it is by adding stuff that we can purchase? This really seems like a very low level complaint to complain about considering how awesome this game is and how well it turned out and how much fun I have on itlike you’re pretty much just complaining because you can’t afford to buy things maybe you should get a job man I have a job and if I want something, I can just buy it
@@benbowen721I have a job a good paying one at that, doesn’t mean I have to like spending 80 dollars on a game and then having to spend another 30 dollars for a skin. I’m sorry man but your take is just doo doo. Games you spend nearly 100 dollars on shouldn’t have expensive skins like that.
@ first of all if your spending 80 on the game then your a moron. The game costs 60$ and I have the game pass so I paid 20$ and this is my second month playing so I’ve paid 40$ and I have tons of other games I can download and play. That’s your fault for paying $80 when the game doesn’t even cost $80. It cost 60 because you’re dumb enough to buy some more expensive version in the game isn’t the fault of call of duty it’s yours. And like I said, I had the game pass so my first month playing I only paid 20 bucks and I enjoy being able to download other games for free as well to my choosing.
May not be the case for most people like you said. And I usually don't comment but you insisted. But as a mainly multiplayer player myself and warzone, I have thoroghly enjoyed zombies, yes it started for Nebula but definitely will be staying. I did spawn only runs, did melee only runs. Just been having a blast on it. To be honest, I think we have Libery Falls to thank for that, it's just a simple map with so much to offer for beginners. I understand why terminus may be better. BUT Liberty falls is what got me this year. Will be staying in the community. And thank you and your team for your time with these videos.
I have been a zombies camo grinder since the early introduction in Black Ops 3. As I have gotten older and busier, it has been interesting to watch the challenges get more elaborate and long to accomplish and find ways to fit time to complete the camos into my schedule. I managed to get the Cold War camos by summer with a fairly busy schedule, and enjoyed the grind quite a bit. This year I am probably the busiest I've been since starting. I am newly married, starting an accelerated associates degree, and so much more. Despite all of that, I am really really enjoying the grind this year. It's nice to have the more streamlined Critical Kills being the bulk, followed by a few quick challenges to finish the gun off. I have my shotguns Opal and half of the assault rifles done even with my busy schedule. Looking forward to continuing to find time for all the rest throughout the year!
Loving the zombies so far! Only thing bothering me is the armour and mangler spam past round 35. Something I’d love to see implemented in the future would be a daily trade menu to swap out multiple lower grade gobbled for a higher level gobble. I just don’t see myself using all of my lower level gobbles as only a few are even viable! Cheers Milo💕
Long time camo grinder and easter egg hunter here and I have thoroughly enjoyed this new iterations of zombies. I think the Directed Mode is a great way of introducing people to the easter egg hunt and getting people into the series. One issue I have with BO6 so far and hope improves with the upcoming maps is the actual aesthetic of the maps. WAW through BO3 had so many dark and creepy maps, where you felt like you were in a scary place where a zombie outbreak had occurred. They keep straying away from that and making maps nice and pretty which I feel takes away from the world in a way. Verruckt still brings me chills whenever I play it. Been a longtime follower of your content all the way back to BO1 and I look forward to continuing that into the future, you are awesome!
I get what you mean but I love the aesthetic for liberty and terminus is definitely that dark map perfection (a better zns). As for liberty I've always wanted a starting outbreak in a small town and it hits it.
I like picking up weapons dropped from enemy players in multiplayer, but recently I've had to kind of stop doing that because it's seeming like it's having to load them and lags my game so bad it freeze frames for 3 or 4 seconds. Playing on PS5.
Yeah the lag while playing zombies is so annoying and frustrating. They either need to have the game be able to play offline or fix the stutter and lag.
17:16 my review as OG fan: this game has been great, good experience, the grind is fun as well, good storyline direction, good map design for Terminus. The bad: perhaps still too 'easy' easter eggs, simple and direct steps with a lot of help from the UI and characters. But from a personal view, I'm seeing a grow of friend that liked zombies but never played, getting into it and wanting to dig in. So next maps could have some extra difficulty and hidden stuff that people would still enjoy. The biggest positive thing of zombies was triggering the CURIOSITY of the community, we need more work put into this. (Nice work keeping up the hype Milo)
It makes me happy to see this channel doing well again with the release BO6 zombies, I’m now 26 but you were the go to for myself and my friends when we needed zombie guides and still to this day I fight the urge to randomly blurt out “ hi guys, mr roflwaffles here”
Being completely honest once the honeymoon phase was over. It's not a mode that I can just grind endlessly like I used to be able to in Black ops Waw- 4. I'm really hoping DLC 1 knocks it out of the park. I think unless they adjust some things though it will just be mediocre for me. Dlc 1 needs to be amazing, and they need to do better when they're updating things. Adjusting high rounds would be a really big step in the right direction to because it ruins the desire to grind pretty badly. If that gets stale the longevity just isn't there.
I agree, i was hyped in the first 2 weeks, but the replayability isnt really there. If i wanna play chopper gunner simulator i would probably play another game
Fun and bombastic replayable maps that keep you consistently engaged is what im waiting for, a port or light touch up of Five or Shi No Numa or Verruckt would be cool to keep us down while they make the main stuff
thats the problem with this new fast paced zombies, its really really fun but the amount of time you spend on it will be condensed over a shorter period of time rather than over a longer period. Unironically the best thing they could do for player retention is just put in the old WaW maps and touch them up slightly for better graphics, etc. Like what they were in bo1. The 4 maps give a nice spread of different challenge levels (nacht is bare bones, verruckt is perks but really tight and hard, shi no numa is open but still a little challenging, der riese is the fun map with pack a punch.
@GooberDunk maybe shi no numa but tbh the old maps just wouldn't work with how the current zombies act and spawn systems. You get stuck in every part of the old maps just trying to move around
Knew of you wayyyyy back in the day of BO2 zombies, but i was a diehard NGTZombies fan then so i never really watched the channel. As a returning player with BO6 and NGTZombies nowhere to be seen, i knew where i had to go for my no nonsense guides. Loving every bit of content youve put out this past month Milo! I can tell from the shadows under your eyes how hard youve been working, make sure you get some proper rest before Citadel Des Mortes drops! The idea of visiting it before the map comes out would also be awesome, and same thing with the charity idea!
Zombies for me passed 31 makes me want to just quit and play MP. It’s such artificial difficulty it’s whack, if they fix this. Zombies is on a GREAT pace to persuade older fans
Bro thank you , i havent been able to articulate the way I feel about the 250 zombies a round cap and stuff like and artifical difficult is the perfect term for it , I've had enough of playing games who are made by people who think "difficult " means annoying and long winded , let's just say flat out this is the easiest yet most tedious zombies game ever made. , it is so easy to get through the rounds because there's only 250 a round. But they thought they were smart and they would make this more "difficult " by adding 20 manglers a round , that isn't difficult , that isn't challenging , It is annoying , the mangler cannors literally have tracking on them. So even if you're running away and trying to dodge them you still get hit and the hit box on them is disgusting , , you cant evwn train properlt because youll have a bunch of 60 zomvies and then get shot AT THE SAME TIME. By 5 different manglers and your 3 armour plates are gone and you go down. Its so stupid and pathetic. you can't even train zombies anymore and run around the map because they just despawn to get ahead of you which is so stupid. Every year when a new zombies mode comes out. We always say. No this is bad. Make it how it was. It isn't hard to make classic zombies, and every year they refuse and give us some bullshit , they even lied to us and said this was gonna be classic zombies which it isn't it's literally dmz zombies , if zombies has exfil armour plates killstreaks it's warzone zombies not zombies. They even lied and said they're bringing back the bank system , no they didn't it's some stupid piece of shit loot vault
I am enjoying just blazing through it solving the easter eggs on my own & also playing the odd game with the boys but the gripes & distastes to make it better in short are.......... 1: Points system (it is kinda odd) 2: Salvage points (tedious/pointless) 3: Damage input (i need more ammo) 4: Gobblegum timer (why that long) 5: Perk prices (precious jugg at 2500) 6: Mangler (I'll just get mutant injection) 7: Zombies (more points at the leg 😢) 8: Door price's (does it need to be?) 9: Save timer (play & solve or vice versa) 10: Mystery box (80% pointless now) 11: Ammo types (chopper, why not?) 12: Reviving (hehe augment, full power) 13: Starting weapon (#1 #3 #7 #8 #10) 14: EEs (slightly informed via quotes) 15: Weapon tiers (grindy RIP double tap #2) 16: Terminus island's (hello now bye) 17: Liberty Falls (well, liberty balls?) 18: Self Revives (i always forget) 19: Leaderboards (black ops 3, plenty) 20: PAP camos (ugly "so far") 21: Menu music (raining the fire 🙃😡) 22: Crafting table (reasonably okay) 23: Applying Armour (repetitive) I don't hate all of them, some need to be improved, changed or put back the way they used to be but all in all 7 out of 10 (so far)
Relating to number 12, it's annoying on co-op when being the hero & going to revive someone and then another player uses the healing aura, it seems pointless now at times.
@@Ryder187-r3pthat's me on terminus it's so hard when I'm doing the EE steps solo and someone goes down across the map so I always have healing aura with the augement that allows people to keep their perks.
Pretty much everything on this list I agree with, it's why we need a classic mode, playing on solo and barley getting enough points to open doors is annoying I don't even use the box anymore since I need points for the doors.
Some weapons literally can't outrun zombies even in tac sprint. Ammo mods are almost useless. Armored zombies are plentiful and armor has no counter right now. Special zombie spam. You need scorestreaks and wonder weapons for high rounds, not want but *need*. I've been past 250 in the past with glitches and past 100 without glitches. The game that has the save and quit feature literally forces playstyles instead of allowing us to play however we want.
I feel like black ops 4 was probably so big on viewer ship because the last zombies from treyarch at the time was BO3 chronicles, so it’d be fair to say at the time the zombies community was probably at its peak. And I wanna believe that bo6 coming from mw3 that fact it’s pulling so many views could be because it’s just a great zombies game
I remember the hype for BO4 being the height of zombies hype so I'm not super surprised that was your best performing release up to now. So glad BO6 is performing well on the content side too, that does so much for the game throughout its cycle. It also really shows in your content the past month that you're genuinely enjoying making it as much as we enjoy seeing it. Really loving the new game and I'm super excited to see what's coming next month.
I got bored after 3 days of bo6...high rounds are just nothing special anymore and with the 1000 elite zombies per round at 30+ its just not enjoyable, specially if you dont want to use GS45 all the time. Multiplayer is also dead for me since they removed infected and the sbmm kicks in so hard that every match feels the same.
19:50 I feel like people aren't talking enough about the pause timer. 15 minutes per game just isint enough time in most cases for a lot of people. I would be fine with even 30 or even 20. It would be ridiculously easy to fix too
Something I haven’t seen anyone mention is the soundtrack. Not just the Kevin Sherwood songs or main menu theme, but also the individual music for each cutscene, round change, etc. something I think we sorely missed from zombies is its unique type of theme. For example right after Strauss goes crazy over prima materia being mentioned or when richtofen woke up from his dream. I feel like we haven’t heard that type of unique zombies music from zombies in such a long time and I think it makes all the difference.
I love the Lebanon charity idea! I'm conflicted about the tier system. Also I'm sure this is a common sentiment, but I'm having so much fun with zombies in this game, but in such a brainless way. I'm working a lot of hours these days so I'm having so much fun on my days off just loading up directed mode liberty and grinding for hours while watching fun TV shows. It's easy and brain-dead and I love that there's a way for me to make number to go up with an easy mode without a super spooky depressing atmosphere. Loved zombies for a decade now and I'm particularly comforted with this one.
I want to say, I haven't seen much love going towards the fact we have a set crew back, while I'm not a huge fan of these characters, its miles above Cold War, even some of the non story characters, like Brutus honestly has better voice lines then all of the story characters, not story specific voice lines, but its other voice lines like on round 15 Brutus says "at 15 the guard begins his rounds" in reference to the mob of the dead intro cutscene, its just so refreshing after Cold War to have characters that feel like they have voicelines _for_ zombies and not just voicelines _in_ zombies if that makes sense
Didn't know that. That's so much cooler than everything I've heard from this crew! They're kinda stale but I can see a promise of better with them. I think they just need more voice lines honestly.
Honestly, black ops six zombies feels like a improvement over Cold War, zombies in a multitude of ways, you seem genuinely happy talking about this game and that’s what I love to see, and I’m genuinely happy playing it. I just hope we get some new maps in the future and that they’re fun and I think this game will do great.
I hope so, I just hope they make some maps like bo1-bo3 we need maps with personality like motd, moon, origins and gorod krovi those maps are so unique and it's something bo6 struggles to replicate, the maps feel very bland which is one of the main reasons I didn't like cold war, i love the gameplay of bo6 but the maps are still lacking even terminus is very bland, we also need harder EE the liberty falls and terminus EE's are far too easy In my opinion, the only difficult thing about terminus is the boss.
It feels like we haven’t had many collaborations between zombies creators recently. It felt like the community was always interacting back in the day but it’s been a bit less now, at least from a random fan’s POV It would be cool for some smaller creators to get some shine from you or anyone else, just to show some connection between the community
@@RaspyCh yeah it probably is because of the INCIDENTS lol, but I would love to see some smaller creators get some shine from some of the “old guard”, because bringing up some smaller creators more willing to all work together and share love for zombies would be very healthy for the community/game The Blanchfield memes have been a good start lmao
insomnia virus and mystic have been doing fun challenges in 4 person squad. Fun to watch. But yea I really miss the group play videos. Milo and noah playing solo all the time sucks.
Milos relationship with Activision and literally winning is something so cool to me. Watching him since I was a kid and seeing them try to get him down and losing is straight up motivational to me to keep going in all areas of life even when something/someone with more power is trying to stop you
Hard core/old school zombies fan here! Loving the game absolutely 💯. I dont have top teir wifi probably on the lower end. But my experience has been FANTASTIC! Maybe one crash since launch. I also played about 7 days of zombies! I think thats HUGE for only crashing one once.. bo6 best zombies for last 5 years no doubt for me❤❤
Lifelong Zombies player here. I adore the storyline, it is one of it not my absolute favorite narrative in a video game series ever. Every year, every game, good or bad I'm here playing and watching the easter eggs. However, I tend to do the easter eggs a handful of times to experience them and get the story. Do a bit of exploration for side eggs, story stuff, intel, etc. And in terms of that aspect of the mode, I stop there. I'm not really into speed running, and I'm not doing the easter egg every time I load into the map. So for me, the camo grind has been a really big reason to continually jump in the game. I'm sure there are A LOT of people in this same boat. The initial hunt and subsequent couple of replays is a week or 2 of play time, and then after that where people otherwise might've stopped now have 10s if not 100s of hours of content to continue playing Zombies for that they might not have had in the past. The power of 'number go up' (in this case amount of camos owned, the grind, completion) is deceptively powerful. And moreover, I don't think it detracts from the game in anyway so at the very least its a net positive!
I love this dude. No unreasonable shitting on treyarch just because but actual constructive feedback. I really respect this type of content 🎉🎉 Thanks mr rofflewaffles
I’d see it as the other way around and instead of 10 an 8. Speaking as one just going into it with no prior knowledge besides cw and mwz(which was eh), so you go into it with zero expectations and then realize that it’s actually good
Been playing zombies since BO1 and following your channel since BO2, this year with zombies has been a breath of fresh air 100%. There are some problems of course with the settings and the points system/perks and things like that that turn old heads like me away, but at the end of the day, its still extremely enjoyable to play. I find myself coming back to zombies to play this year just when I'm bored, kind of similar to how I would hop on BO1 after school when I was bored and had nothing to do. Of course I would love to rant a bit more but that would be an entire essay. Overall I am thoroughly enjoying this year's mode and with Citadel coming out soon I find myself almost as excited as I was in BO3 with DE.
zombies is carrying black ops 6. Multiplayer ranked is full of hackers, multiplayers maps are underwhelming and poorly designed. warzone is in a weird place with bugs and ttk. However talking about zombies, i wanna see a few quality of life changes, tracking gobblegum uses, leaderboards for everything would be good, like they used to in black ops 3.
The fact that youve been in the zombies scene since the start as well gives you a more valid voice and opinion on this. I appreciate your work and content. Much respect 🙏. I left consoles and gaming for several years, last zombies/cod was black ops, then coming back at mw3, played zombies once and didnt like it. Now BO6 is here and it feels like the game when i was younger, i love it. Great game. Thank you for doing the storyline videos, helped bring me up to speed. Keep it up brother. God bless

@@feltondRUclips has put in your head that bo3 was amazing and you can never enjoy another black ops game again. Quit living in the past this game is great and loads of fun. Go play bo3 for the rest of your life if you want. You’re just repeating what everyone else says
I haven't even played bo6 in a couple weeks, but I really enjoy this style of content from you Milo. I'm very happy to see you more again and to hear of your success.
Not exactly zombies related by I think the community could benefit from you mentioning the shadow banning issues and getting stuck in limited matchmaking. It’s happened to a lot of people including myself and I know it has happened for many cods but it still needs addressing.
My biggest issue with BO6 is the maps are designed to be too wide open. It makes them too easy and Treyarch back themselves into a corner where they have to spam Manglers, Amalgams, and Abominations at you to keep it challenging, and it doesn't even work. The game is still easy, just kind of annoying at the same time. Looking back at a map like Mob of the Dead, it was designed to be close quarters, so the zombies themselves provided the challenge. Brutus showing up once every 5 rounds was more than enough to keep it interesting. If Treyarch were to make the maps tighter again, they could make the game more challenging while also being able to answer the community's cries of, "Too many Manglers!"
I’m glad Cold War and BO6 have strayed away from that map design. Five, Shangri La, Verruckt, Nuketown, and Nacht all did close quarters way better without the pointlessly tedious Easter eggs (like the redundant fetch quest to get to PaP.) I also don’t think ridiculously narrow maps would even work given how fast zombies spawn. Those narrow maps worked because old zombies were much slower and pointless ranged zombies like manglers didn’t exist.
i LOVE the auditory ambiance in liberty falls, and i really like all the quotes and have been intrigued by almost all the characters (with some carver riddled exceptions, he’s not bad, just not as interesting as everyone else) so far i’d probably give the game a 8.7-9.2 ish, very very strong!
I agree! Dude the new characters are actually pretty cool. Except yeah Carver is really boring imo. Just feels like he's in the game to be nostalgia bait for old cod campaign enjoyers.
Really? I hate the way the characters talk. They way they practically explain the punchline of every joke is painfully unfunny. Weaver and Grey both talk like Borderlands 3 characters. I don’t like Weaver talking like a vapid millennial with a low attention span. That’s not Weaver. The flat characters and their atrocious dialogue can be overlooked because the first two maps and the improved movement are both really good. Just my opinion.
@@lowlandnobleman6746i think the dialogue is funny as hell, it actually reminds me of old zombies dialogue but i can underrated the hate, i always play as maya tho tbh
I think that when it comes to operators in zombies, not only did they do a good job(not great just yet!!) with the main cast of characters, but the lines they have given to the regular operators have become so MUCH more funny! In previous games like cold war and mwz you'd never have non main character operators say lines like "now klaus will drop it like it is hot!". I believe they have nailed the side operators this time around to make me at least WANT to play them in liberty falls.
I liked the Cold War operators more. Felt more serious and yet still occasionally joked around. These ones constantly tell shitty unfunny jokes then explain the punchline for you. Annoying. I’ll take Woods’ dialogue in Cold War zombies any day.
Been with you since the beginning Milo. Big time lurker but your passion, transparency, and honesty towards the games, community, etc makes you one of my favorite content creators out there. Hopefully the success keeps rolling for you! You deserve it.
I've played zombies since Black Ops 2. Black Ops 6 is a okay experience, but I'm already burnt out on it. It's not fun trying to get to high rounds like in BO2 or especially BO3. I can only camo grind for so long before I lose all interest. My biggest issues is I think very common amongst the fanbase. The point system, the loadout system, the spamming of special and elite zombies, vermin/parasite rounds taking forever, lackluster weapons, the two for one special of player health and zombie damage, armor instead of a shield, scorestreaks, scrap, alongside a couple other things like how certain perks work, super sprinters past round 40, gun rarity, triple pack a punch and especially armored zombies. Most of the time I have 0 reason to use gobblegums which was not the case in BO3 most of the time, and I really wish I could have a way to make some gumballs I am not using and convert them into other gobbles like in BO3. I have really enjoyed though the EEs, terminus's boss fight was amazing, liberty biberty is old for me now since it's really the only map the game has rn for a pure survival map but it's an alright experience. Augments are a thing I have surprisingly enjoyed, but in my opinion most of them are useless or just aren't good enough to ever really be used. The camo grind kept me playing for awhile but outside of that there is almost no content to grind out except for the hope you get a ultra gobble and at that point where's the fun? I miss being able to go for rounds into the bare minimum 60s to 80s with my regular weapons and maybe a WW if I was lucky enough to get one out of the box instead of needing to exclusively use the traps and jetgun since it's the only useful weapon past round 35 outside of the knife which isn't useful past like round 50-60, but you can't even use the knife in the first place past round 40 because of the super sprinters. The game intentionally feels like it doesn't want you to play for long stretches of time, and I hate that. It's just not as fun as classic zombies.
bo6 zombies is good but the personality of the mode is dead. which in turn, makes the story very lackluster. the heavy metal shooting zombies type beat is the core of the mode and needs to come back
Idk if many other people have experienced this, but I feel that the ultra gobblegums are incredibly rare. The rarity of the gums you get don’t seem to scale well either. I have gotten maybe, 15 at the absolute max, ultra gums when I have many, many hours in zombies. I think the rarity should scale better in the later rounds which I feel it doesn’t do a good job at.
they want you to buy them its really annoying me too i need more perk power up ones and rarity ones to upgrade to legendary tool its always idle eyes and wall power or co op ones im a solo player so they are all useless to me
@@Xan-m9b yes but I wanna use my gums without be so worrisome of using them all up too fast. I have 2 days and 10 hours in BO6 zombies and I have 14 ultra gums. That is a ridiculously low number for my time played.
There is something about this game that just makes it feel kinda uncanny to play at times. Also I hate the fact that everything you can pick up is highlighted now? it makes everything feel out of place. I think having the outline on the item makes it feel cheap? or makes the game feel lesser in quality to me? (especially with all the salvage and grenades and things that just stay on the floor after killing a horde of zombies, not to mention all interactables for quests or side quest look so weird and out of place) Its like if you made every item you could pick up highlighted in bo3, imagine in bo3 if you went to go find the shield part and it was highlighted. It would look so bad and out of place. Sure it would help you find it the first couple of times, but its not that hard to learn part locations if you care about the game you are playing And if spending a few minutes to find/learn where a couple parts are is too hard or too much work, then zombies is not the mode for you. It used to be a mode based on exploration and adventure which the most recent games have been lacking, plus now they have the directed mode so there is no reason to be holding our hand with these super obvious "hints". The character quotes sure are good for information but when you have that on top of a giant yellow highlight around an item, it makes me feel like the devs think I have a single braincell EDIT: The way the zombies react when getting shot are so weird in this game (And cold war, I didn't play mw3 zombies so idk about that one) Like I didn't notice it until I turned the health bars off since with them on you are staring at the bars rather than the zombies themselves But in older games (Even games where weapons were really terrible to use and felt like they didn't do any damage) It still felt good to shoot the zombies because it felt like it was doing something to them, they would slow down and stagger or something like that (Plus we got points for each shot) In this game it just feels different, like the zombies do stagger but they don't slow down and it feels like you are shooting through a paper cutout of the zombie XD, kinda like the zombies really care about being shot? Which is weird to say because they are undead and shouldn't care but it felt much better in the older games when they did "care" about being shot I have been informed by other comments that I had imagined the zombies stagger or them making any indication that they were being damaged except the 10 points so this part is void and im moving it down to the bottom of my post
I think the reason you couldnt put out a lore video as big is because a large portion of the community lost the storyline around bo4/cold war and dont currently know where the story is at. perhaps a zombies storyline video from bo4-now could help with that
I’ve watched you since the beginning mate, tbh the main thing here is your state of mind and how much better you personally are doing. I remember watching a video a while ago now where you were even questioning your future on RUclips & zombies. I guess that was also to do with the state of zombies so definitely a correlation. But again, main thing here is that you are happier and just more satisfied as a person, forget RUclips and zombies it’s how you feel as a person.
@@AJ_77602 it was fun at the time but I was super disappointed with the lack of new wonder weapons especially for a finale map. It’s the one map I have no reason to return to gameplay wise.
@@snorseburger7381 I see where you’re coming from about wonder weapons. I don’t disagree there, but the whole thing was an incredible homage/retrospective of the journey we had taken to get to that point. And the atmosphere was absolutely incredible. I find myself returning just to complete the egg and enjoy the absolutely massive expanse of space and times that comprised the map. White Cliff Games has a really good video about it actually if you haven’t seen that.
Yeah , changing the point system makes no sense it did nothing to help the game. For that matter they need to stop changing everything all the time. Only change things when it makes sense. Also doing in smaller increments so you're not ruining the game that is so popular.
been watching you for like a decade or something man, what a crazy zombies journey it has been, happy to see your channel performing like this, cod seems back this year at least for zombies, but only time will tell if the dlcs keep us locked in, im most likely going to be regardless cause i just like your personality, but zombies has been great this month and im so ready for citadelle
Hi Milo ❤ In my opinion, Black Ops 6 Zombies is definitely an upgrade from Black Ops Cold War, but it still falls short of living up to the hype of Black Ops 3 or even Black Ops 4. While the gameplay has improved in some areas, Black Ops 3 stood out for its art direction and gritty atmosphere, which Black Ops 6 hasn’t quite matched. In Black Ops 3, the maps felt darker, more immersive, and often grittier, with a sense of desperation that really drew you into the Zombies experience. Each map had a distinct personality that made it memorable, and the visual design felt cohesive with the tone of the gameplay. The use of lighting, colors, and textures gave the maps an eerie quality, while the more linear map design often enhanced the tension and focus. Black Ops 6, on the other hand, seems to lack that same artistic edge. The maps feel brighter and less atmospheric, and the layouts sometimes feel too open or scattered, which takes away from the intensity that made Black Ops 3 so iconic. Maybe it’s because the game just came out, and players are still getting used to it, or maybe future DLC maps will bring more of that classic Zombies energy. Either way, something about it isn’t quite clicking yet. That’s okay for now, though-future DLC maps could still change how people feel about the mode. One of my main critiques of Zombies right now is that there aren’t enough guns that feel powerful enough to handle mini-bosses. It feels like you’re emptying magazine after magazine into them, only to turn around and still have a massive horde of zombies coming at you. This becomes especially frustrating when you’re trying to go for high rounds and mini-bosses keep getting spammed at you. That said, I’ve really enjoyed the game so far. I’ve been completely hooked on it and can’t even think about playing anything else. Whenever I try another game, I end up turning it off after 15 minutes and going right back to Black Ops 6. As for grinding camos, I’m on the fence. I don’t grind all the camos in one go because I know the game will be around for a long time, and more DLC weapons will eventually come out. Using those DLC guns-especially when they’re often overpowered-can make the grind much easier. I know not everyone agrees with this approach, but I think it’s smart to take advantage of those future weapons. Plus, we never know what new maps will drop or which ones will have the best training spots, so I don’t mind waiting to complete the grind. I have a lot of respect for players who already have all the camos-it’s a huge achievement-but it’s just not something I’ll do all at once. I really like your idea for a T-shirt contest. It would be awesome to have a design competition where the top three winners receive prizes. It’s a great way to engage with your community and give a shout-out to smaller creators, fans, or anyone who wants to get more involved. The charity aspect is also a fantastic idea. I think using donation tiers for the shirts is smart, and I completely agree that the tier 3 shirt should be reserved for donations of $100 or more. It gives the shirt a sense of exclusivity and encourages people to contribute more to the organization. By the way, I loved this video, Milo! It was really interesting, and I’m glad Activision isn’t blackballing you anymore. I hope they continue to respect your voice in the future because constructive criticism is important, and it’s never okay to silence someone for sharing their honest opinions.
@ApathyonYT bo4 is good story wise gameplay and maps were average. Cold war had average maps but really smooth and satisfying gameplay and bo6 has great maps and better gameplay than cw
I think the main thing is that yes it is 'Warzone Zombies' but for the first time in a while the game is actually fun. Something Zombies has missed for a while.
personally, it exceeded my expectation. haven’t even been interested in zombies since bo4. This has brought me right back into consumping content and playing. On that nebula grind babyyyyy
So glad to see a video like this. This past month of roflwaffles, a lot of videos feel rushed. These long form breakdown conversation videos are great though.
my biggest problem is that on the diamond camo, the diamonds dont have a glitter effect like in black ops 2. it makes the diamond camo look super dull... this wasnt a problem in the launch of ops3 but then they changed it during the lifecycle and now it just doesnt look as good as black ops 2.
My experience of the game has been extremely positive so far and that includes both zombies and multiplayer. My game has and still does crash every now and again but I'm playing on a PS4 so I overlook any crashes or anything to do with my internet. My biggest issue is however my inability to create more than 10 builds at a time, I made a few gun builds a couple weeks ago some for zombies and some for multiplayer and after season 1 launch I've not been able to create any new gun builds for any gun, would really love it if this was fixed 😭
Also my dying wish keeps activating when I'm sucked in by an Amalgam, this doesn't always happen but around 50% of the time I do just lose quick revive because of it
Would love to see a "no nonsense guide to speedrunning the ee" even if you aren't the WR holder, but just going over the strategies and tactices and why it works. You got the game knowledge.
The environment in liberty falls is fantastic. It feels like you’re truly in the early stages of an outbreak in a large(ish) city. It’s kind of what I’ve always wanted from a map, seeing the random events of people being eaten, cars blowing up and the small but ever growing horde size just feels so authentic to how an actual outbreak would go. The map has given me something I’ve wanted since bo1 (trying to escape the kino barriers lol) and I’ve been loving it.
the addition of zombies eating people and existing in rooms when you go in is so damn cool, it works great on both maps and it should be crazy for the next one as well
I feel like worlds first Easter eggs are bigger now than older games for sure and you’re good at making walkthroughs on them, so that probably helps with the viewers recently despite less maps. Also more content in zombies to cover like gobblegum, augments and such to make comparison videos are a big help
honestly, i started playing zombies during WAW. I never played any cod games since CW. The past year I've replayed all previous zombies games and i would love a full story line explained going through all games. I love the lore of that I've seen during CW & BO6. But I know I'm missing out on so much. Please make a full story of zombies series. Like a mini documentry series
Hey Milo, great vid as always. Super cool that Citadelle Des Morts has a French castle setting; I actually visited Carcassonne this past summer. I also have a bit of a theory for the dlc maps: each map would probably be a Janus facility, but with more intruiging themes than a CW map. Terminus was biological/organic research. Perhaps the facility in Citadelle will be a focus into dark aether essence/energy. Think back to the aetherial orbs containing memories back in CW. This could tie in with the "terrifying" description for the map, with there maybe being aetherial ghosts and ghouls. Something to also fit this trend is that the Mansion facility has been researching time travel, another unique property of the dark aether. Let me know what you think, and keep up the good work man!
All I want is a way to play the game without my internet being a major factor on how it plays. I want them to do something like black ops 3 where if you go on solo zombies, you can earn gobblegums, level weapons and do the Easter egg for the achievement without any form of lag. On black ops 6, I genuinely stop playing the game because it just gets unplayable.
My favourite zombies game is bo3, followed closely by bo2. And I have to say bo6 is the most immediately replayable zombies, as in I can play multiple long games repeatedly without getting bored or tired, it’s just satisfying to play. But bo2 and bo3 are still the ones I’d go back to long term repeatedly, I do think bo6 will be incredible this year, but fall off once the next game releases? The art style, atmosphere, ambience, uniqueness, colour palettes and creativity is not even comparable to how good it used to be, but the core gameplay is extremely fun and satisfying. And the game is an overall major improvement to Cold War, I enjoyed Cold War but have MASSIVE problems with it, unfortunately a bunch of those still follow over to bo6 The number 1 main issue being: the points system. It completely ruins games if you happen to go down even once after buying some perks, and if you fully die in a co op game after like round 25, it becomes unplayable. You get stuck in a death loop of having no points, not being able to kill, running out of ammo, and not having the points to buy more ammo and get your perks and upgrades back, you just get softlocked out of progressing entirely. I also really dislike having no perk limit, having a perk limit made it so you had to choose a unique build of perks each game, now it’s just get everything every game and it’s always the same. Granted the augment system is my favourite feature in this entire game, my solution to crutch perks is simply give Jug (and quick revive in solo only) their own slot, separate from your 4 other perks to choose. This makes free perk Easter eggs so much more rewarding and meaningful, instead of just saving a few thousand points and that’s it. Another smaller complaint is the side Easter egg rewards, yes it’s great to get free perks, mutant injections and gold guns, but almost EVERY side Easter egg is the same exact type of loot. The cursed coins is a great example of a good unique reward, but we just don’t get stuff like the G strikes, one inch punch, hells retriever, spider bait etc anymore, truly unique things for each map. But yeah I’m still loving this game despite my complaints.
One point I do want to make regarding black ops 4 with your Channel is the fact that how broken that game was, we all relied on you for information with what was going on with patch notes and stuff like that.
I'm a zombies camo grinder! I've never even played war zone. I'm on prestige 6 level 44 and honestly with battle pass season 1, new map leakes I love this game I really didn't like prestigeing at first but it's brilliant! Love the content bro keep it coming!
Hi Milo! Camp grinder here, I LOVE watching stats tick up, and I'm loving this game. I'm probably going to play Warzone seriously for the first time this game because I love the camos in it. I wanted to report that I haven't had any of my reticle challenges tracking, which is not a big deal for me at all but it is something I noticed. Also, my game crashes occasionally when I'm in a party with a friend in MP, but I'm running an old OG Xbox One, so it could be hardware related? idk. I'm very surprised how well this game isdoing!
First BO game since BO2, was a huge fan of the story and zombies in general. BO6 zombies has me hooked not for the new features or anything new, its just FUN! I can literally lose track of time and find myself 4-5 hours deep on a map and loved every second of it.
Activision getting milo in the loop ish again is one of the best things to happen especially for the community. You cant stop milo from milo-ing, he will always do what he thinks is best for the game and community
The chairty idea is cool ..maybe something like this Basic: $0-39.99 Shirt design #3: $40-79.99 Shirt design#2 : $80-119.99 Shirt design #1: 120 and up Maybe a bundle where $200 gets you all 3. Maybe even a certain amount gets you signed merch 🤔
As a camo grinder, this game is great, especially with the addition of Guided Mode. Every experience has a mode for camo grinders. MP has hardcore and Face Off matches, Zombies has Directed Mode, and even Warzone has Plunder, which isn't ideal, but it's something.
I've constantly been joking with my buddy that I know how long making youtube videos can take, and that in order to do what you've been doing it's gotta be the most efficient content creation system ever, or you're working 20 hours a day. keep up the great work man you deserve those views holy crap
Im an animator and character rigger (and longtime zombies player) i think something that is an unsung hero of this game are the immense dynamic animations for the zombies. and i mean overall there are a lot of things acting in this game to create an experience for players that they dont even notice. Treyarchs development of fluid camera, gun positioning, animation rules and so much more is quite incredible
I have a very busy schedule and this game really excels at being a once a week player! The camo grind and augment upgrading really keeps me wanting to log on. Fun maps and so far a blast with friends.
Hi Milo, I think you're awesome, smart (especially for a youtuber!) and your passion is inspiring, I've been, to me, surprisingly, enjoying bo6 zombies, once i started seeing it as not a follow up of bo3 zombies, and a completely different game, with logic and gameplay intentionally not like bo3 zombies, i started loving the game! The only drawback that I've experienced is the fact that you can't play a private game, offline. I'd love to have played with my girlfriend on splitscreen but thats not available on ps4, which isn't super crazy, but I think it's really too bad, hope you're feeling good man
Milo you doing great you were always the nicest one and you will forever be remembered. Im a cod player that plays everymode mult wz and zombies. Zombies by far is my fav mode on this franchise. What is going to determine this game going onwards is the story and no game breaking bugs. They are doing one of them great if they could get the story going we are back you feel me milo
Only have two negatives I have with the game right now. 1 is boss spam, I’m fine with boss spawn when I was camo grinding but now it’s just too much to deal with on high rounds. 2 is I can never see anyone’s level, calling card, emblem, etc. in my games. I like knowing who I’m going up against instead I just see lvl 1 players. Keep up the good work Milo
1. I’d love to see you go to citadel de morte I personally loved the liberty falls series!!! 2. Charity sounds like a solid idea in my opinion. Great cause and a creative way to get people on board!
Zombies is literally the only thing I play on Bo6
Me too and it's not even because the other modes are bad, I'm just enjoying zombies that much. Haven't touched the campaign, barely played Nuketown 24/7.
Now the new map is coming lol
Multi is fun but with the amount of hackers it ain’t even worth it. I just been doing camos and challenges in zombies.
Zombies and infected mp is all I play and they took out infected for now so zombies only!
Every COD has multiplayer, so like to enjoy Zombies whenever it comes around!🤷♂️

Definitely a side effect of online only. It's the lag that causes this behavior. Still hate the fact we can't play zombies offline
I remember saying this to a friend I was playing with at the time!
@@rmwilliams8193It auto picks up the previous lethal/tactical you’ve used even if you don’t have one which I prefer

Its the only reason i played cod again for the first time in 5yrs
Same!!!!! That’s how I got black ops 6 because I stopped playing like 5 games ago!!

I'm in the exact same boat as your brother. I haven't played since Black Ops 2. Once I saw Black Ops 6 on Gamepass I figured I'd give it a try and I really like it.
Especially with bo2 being like $50 on Xbox. I haven’t checked the price since Microsoft acquired it but I was $50 for like a decade
These are new characters tbf theres always a chance they improve but rn i agree theyre dry
the thing i dislike most about the new crew is that theyre all the "serious badass" archetype. what made the original crew so memorable was the goofy shit they said while still being serious at times. yea the new characters have some comedic quips every now and then but its all so forced compared to the older games. meanwhile in bo3 you have jeff goldblum in your ear saying funny shit all the time in shadows. its an improvement from cold war sure but the bar was super low from that game as it lacked soul in general. and god i hate that they brought back peck he was the stupidest motherfucker and least interesting character in CW.
@kernelscout3077 tbf the new crew were imprisoned for god knows how long. They aren't gonna be goofy

This really seems like a very low level complaint to complain about considering how awesome this game is and how well it turned out and how much fun I have on itlike you’re pretty much just complaining because you can’t afford to buy things maybe you should get a job man I have a job and if I want something, I can just buy it
@benbowen721 it's not a complaint as much as an observation.
I agree 100%.

@@b1b1b14 you get it.
Your gonna be happy in a couple weeks then. Citadel has the creepy vibe we want
Talking about verrukt, citadel gives verrukt vibes
@@rezalmaoI do not think so. Verrukt scares the shit out of me. CDM looks sterile in comparison
@Mandawg1 verrukt still scares you? Doesnt scare me. Cdm does give verrukt vibes it'll be a better map aswell
I get what you mean but I love the aesthetic for liberty and terminus is definitely that dark map perfection (a better zns). As for liberty I've always wanted a starting outbreak in a small town and it hits it.
the only thing underperforming in this game is the fps , lag and screen stutters that so many people are facing
Barely noticed
Been playing everyday for at least 2-3 hours. Haven’t experienced anything like that.
@@robertwolfe8530absolutely wrong
@@GooberDunkI don’t think they would port very well into the new zombie formula
thats the problem with this new fast paced zombies, its really really fun but the amount of time you spend on it will be condensed over a shorter period of time rather than over a longer period.
Directed mode feels better to play
@ exactly bro it’s not even up for debate icl
Yeah I got to the point where it felt boring at high rounds
Call of Duty Manglers ffs, we want zombies!
1: Points system (it is kinda odd)
2: Salvage points (tedious/pointless)
3: Damage input (i need more ammo)
4: Gobblegum timer (why that long)
5: Perk prices (precious jugg at 2500)
6: Mangler (I'll just get mutant injection)
7: Zombies (more points at the leg 😢)
8: Door price's (does it need to be?)
9: Save timer (play & solve or vice versa)
10: Mystery box (80% pointless now)
11: Ammo types (chopper, why not?)
12: Reviving (hehe augment, full power)
13: Starting weapon (#1 #3 #7 #8 #10)
14: EEs (slightly informed via quotes)
15: Weapon tiers (grindy RIP double tap #2)
16: Terminus island's (hello now bye)
17: Liberty Falls (well, liberty balls?)
18: Self Revives (i always forget)
19: Leaderboards (black ops 3, plenty)
20: PAP camos (ugly "so far")
21: Menu music (raining the fire 🙃😡)
22: Crafting table (reasonably okay)
23: Applying Armour (repetitive)
I don't hate all of them, some need to be improved, changed or put back the way they used to be but all in all 7 out of 10 (so far)
Relating to number 12, it's annoying on co-op when being the hero & going to revive someone and then another player uses the healing aura, it seems pointless now at times.
@Ryder187-r3p Yup agreed, that is what I meant but I couldn't fit it in.

Pretty much everything on this list I agree with, it's why we need a classic mode, playing on solo and barley getting enough points to open doors is annoying I don't even use the box anymore since I need points for the doors.
Milo is becoming the zombies feedback hub more than any official call of duty website ever was and I love it
I think the biggest issue of zombies is balance at higher rounds. It can either be extremely easy or extremely unfair I found out, no in between
It’s not even hard they just spam boss zombies that take 50 mags to kill
@@ProdLucio Tedium not Difficulty 100%
Some weapons literally can't outrun zombies even in tac sprint. Ammo mods are almost useless. Armored zombies are plentiful and armor has no counter right now. Special zombie spam. You need scorestreaks and wonder weapons for high rounds, not want but *need*.
I've been past 250 in the past with glitches and past 100 without glitches. The game that has the save and quit feature literally forces playstyles instead of allowing us to play however we want.
@@Average_Internet_User101 What sucks is that a lot of devs think that tedium equals difficulty.
@metal100k I mean most maps need a wonder weapon to high round
I feel like black ops 4 was probably so big on viewer ship because the last zombies from treyarch at the time was BO3 chronicles, so it’d be fair to say at the time the zombies community was probably at its peak. And I wanna believe that bo6 coming from mw3 that fact it’s pulling so many views could be because it’s just a great zombies game
Bo3 pt2: Electric boogaloo
Yes! This is what I’ve been saying and people treat me like a HERETIC for saying so.

I want to say, I haven't seen much love going towards the fact we have a set crew back, while I'm not a huge fan of these characters, its miles above Cold War, even some of the non story characters, like Brutus honestly has better voice lines then all of the story characters, not story specific voice lines, but its other voice lines like on round 15 Brutus says "at 15 the guard begins his rounds" in reference to the mob of the dead intro cutscene, its just so refreshing after Cold War to have characters that feel like they have voicelines _for_ zombies and not just voicelines _in_ zombies if that makes sense
it does and you're completely right, zombies fans are eating for the first time in years
Didn't know that.
I think this game will be #1, let some new content roll out and by the end of it it will be grand.
It felt like the community was always interacting back in the day but it’s been a bit less now, at least from a random fan’s POV
It would be cool for some smaller creators to get some shine from you or anyone else, just to show some connection between the community

I really respect this type of content

@@lowlandnobleman6746not to mention way more zombies than just 24 spawn in at a time in these games.
They're designed with omnimovement in mind
@@Dagxtor23 Idrc what the thought process behind the design was, it's poor design
@@lowlandnobleman6746 I think if you straight up ported MotD over to BO6 and removed the Manglers, it would play just fine
i LOVE the auditory ambiance in liberty falls, and i really like all the quotes and have been intrigued by almost all the characters (with some carver riddled exceptions, he’s not bad, just not as interesting as everyone else) so far i’d probably give the game a 8.7-9.2 ish, very very strong!
I don’t get the same eeriness in this game as previous titles.
The only funny ones are peck and Strauss 😭
I liked the Cold War operators more. Felt more serious and yet still occasionally joked around. These ones constantly tell shitty unfunny jokes then explain the punchline for you. Annoying. I’ll take Woods’ dialogue in Cold War zombies any day.
I have been playing as Weaver and man he does get on your nerves after a while unlike anyone in Ultimis
Damn
Well said 🫡
bo6 zombies is good but the personality of the mode is dead. which in turn, makes the story very lackluster. the heavy metal shooting zombies type beat is the core of the mode and needs to come back
Idk if many other people have experienced this, but I feel that the ultra gobblegums are incredibly rare. The rarity of the gums you get don’t seem to scale well either. I have gotten maybe, 15 at the absolute max, ultra gums when I have many, many hours in zombies. I think the rarity should scale better in the later rounds which I feel it doesn’t do a good job at.
they want you to buy them its really annoying me too i need more perk power up ones and rarity ones to upgrade to legendary tool its always idle eyes and wall power or co op ones im a solo player so they are all useless to me
Especially with being able to purchase gums they need to be handed out better at the higher rarities.
I mean it says ultra rare so
@@Xan-m9b yes but I wanna use my gums without be so worrisome of using them all up too fast. I have 2 days and 10 hours in BO6 zombies and I have 14 ultra gums. That is a ridiculously low number for my time played.
i have 13 perkaholics
There is something about this game that just makes it feel kinda uncanny to play at times.
Also I hate the fact that everything you can pick up is highlighted now? it makes everything feel out of place. I think having the outline on the item makes it feel cheap? or makes the game feel lesser in quality to me? (especially with all the salvage and grenades and things that just stay on the floor after killing a horde of zombies, not to mention all interactables for quests or side quest look so weird and out of place)
Its like if you made every item you could pick up highlighted in bo3, imagine in bo3 if you went to go find the shield part and it was highlighted.
It would look so bad and out of place. Sure it would help you find it the first couple of times, but its not that hard to learn part locations if you care about the game you are playing
And if spending a few minutes to find/learn where a couple parts are is too hard or too much work, then zombies is not the mode for you.
It used to be a mode based on exploration and adventure which the most recent games have been lacking, plus now they have the directed mode so there is no reason to be holding our hand with these super obvious "hints".
The character quotes sure are good for information but when you have that on top of a giant yellow highlight around an item, it makes me feel like the devs think I have a single braincell
EDIT:
The way the zombies react when getting shot are so weird in this game (And cold war, I didn't play mw3 zombies so idk about that one)
Like I didn't notice it until I turned the health bars off since with them on you are staring at the bars rather than the zombies themselves
But in older games (Even games where weapons were really terrible to use and felt like they didn't do any damage) It still felt good to shoot the zombies because it felt like it was doing something to them, they would slow down and stagger or something like that (Plus we got points for each shot)
In this game it just feels different, like the zombies do stagger but they don't slow down and it feels like you are shooting through a paper cutout of the zombie XD, kinda like the zombies really care about being shot? Which is weird to say because they are undead and shouldn't care but it felt much better in the older games when they did "care" about being shot
I have been informed by other comments that I had imagined the zombies stagger or them making any indication that they were being damaged except the 10 points so this part is void and im moving it down to the bottom of my post
Think we’ve got a little nostalgia blindness here. Reaction to being shot by the zombies definitely wasn’t in older games.
The zombies never staggered in the older games? Lmfao where tf are you getting that from
the zombies in this game stagger and stumble when you shoot them the zombies in the older games just ran straight through your bullets what?
@@Frozt_KSA really? when i shoot them, they seem to just keep running. Especially the special zombies like vermin
@@lm_slayer1 maybe you haven't played WW2 zombies XD, when you shot them or knifed them with the shovel, they would stagger
Tbh I need more than 15 minute pause timer before I can commit to a game
I agree
save and quit resets the timer
Quit the game and you will
2:00 yeah, bo4 was insanely hype. after the way bo3 ended on such a high note, everyone was so stoked to see what was next
I would not say bo3 ended on a high note unless we are talking about chronicles.
@ yeah we are, and revelations was still great, man.
We NEED the old point system back. The gameplay is hurt SOOOO much by the current situation ne
definetly, would be a great change giving the gameplay more depth
Brother said bo4. Cw and bo6 are 100x better
@ IX is a good map from black ops 4
@ApathyonYT bo4 is good story wise gameplay and maps were average. Cold war had average maps but really smooth and satisfying gameplay and bo6 has great maps and better gameplay than cw
@ I couldn’t agree more I am happy with the maps and gameplay of Black Ops 6 I just miss Black Ops 3 Zombies there’s something about it
@@ApathyonYT bo3 had jason Blundell and treyarch had more control over the game
I think the main thing is that yes it is 'Warzone Zombies' but for the first time in a while the game is actually fun. Something Zombies has missed for a while.
"warzone zombies" brother cold war zombies did it before warzone Z was even a thing lol

personally, it exceeded my expectation. haven’t even been interested in zombies since bo4. This has brought me right back into consumping content and playing.
On that nebula grind babyyyyy
I think it’s performing, which is good considering how the last few cods have gone 😭
Surprised at how little I see people complaining about being kicked for inactivity while taking a 30 second piss break in a private match with friends
Bo6 diamond vs cold war diamond its such a sad difference
We appreciate you pumping out the content man. Very helpful
You’re welcome for a million of those views, with me having to constantly rewatch EE steps from your EE guides😂
2:41 love the scar face ‘Ok’ I’m reloaded 😂
And the game is an overall major improvement to Cold War, I enjoyed Cold War but have MASSIVE problems with it, unfortunately a bunch of those still follow over to bo6
The number 1 main issue being: the points system.
I love your zombies storyline videos and long form videos in general please strive to make more of them 🙂
I'm a zombies camo grinder!
I think all these ideas you brought up were amazing the charity going to the new map and more loved the ideas
Activision getting milo in the loop ish again is one of the best things to happen especially for the community. You cant stop milo from milo-ing, he will always do what he thinks is best for the game and community
20:00 i LOVE that you can now finally split the price of doors. Such a minor change that affects gameplay so much in a positive way
The chairty idea is cool ..maybe something like this
Basic: $0-39.99
Shirt design #3: $40-79.99
Shirt design#2 : $80-119.99
Shirt design #1: 120 and up
Maybe a bundle where $200 gets you all 3.
