You can buy ammo for a pack-punched gun for 250 essence if you have a base gun as additional gun. Go up to ammo crate with your melee out and it will provide ammo for the cheaper price

And you have a XM4 that hasnt been pack-a-punched as a secondary gun so its ammo is 250. Going to the ammo box with melee out will list 250 for more ammo. When you buy it will go to your primary weapon
Something you should know about the beam smasher: it causes a significant drop in salvage. This is especially the case even when someone slows the zombies down but finishes it off with a loadout weapon. It's roughly a 75% reduction in salvage drop rates. So if you're playing with someone with the beam smasher, and are grinding salvage, steer clear from them.
At 5:10 when discussing the consequences of pack a punching weapons. That is only mathematically true for pack 2 and beyond. Since Pack 1 doubles both your dmg multiplier as well as ammo capacity from base. Its a 4x efficiency upgrade which lines up with the ammo price increase from 250 to 1k. Pack 2 and beyond its true that its no longer 1-1 but there is never a downside (given you will be using the gun) to pack 1.

What’s awesome is that this isn’t even a Easter egg this is just the ambience in the game, they are going back to they’re roots and are using the old sound files along with some new ones. I sat around on zombies listening to it for a while, definitely the old sounds and some mix of new ones really awesome feature.

If you’re struggling with the defusing step on solo, I find it absurdly easy to just do the top one first then go down stairs and do like 20-25% of one, jump off the side and swim under water to the other side and repeat that process. Gets it done with a good amount of time left.

The armor is just a second healthbar that also does a % mitigation to reduce damage to your actual healthbar. I think they programmed it in a way that makes perfect sense to how they want armor to function. Additionally, the mitigation is a % based on zombie damage, which increases per round, so its ability to block damage effectively is reduced as rounds go up since zombies hit harder.

I believe he may have WR right now.) was in your chat this time and he was answering a lot of good questions and sharing some extra things like how this patch changed insta kills so that you only get charge every 5-6 kill with it active.
yeah it's a tough balance to find - on one hand, I want to, but on the other I find that chat onscreen can make some youtube viewers feel like it's garbage/reused content, and also sometimes chat is just spammy and or may be dealing with someone trying to make a scene and that's not something I wanna keep in the videos for obvious reasons. It's def something I'm trying to find the right balance for though, so thanks for the feedback!!
12:41 You don't need to check for no keycard to see which trap you have to activate. If you haven't activated any beforehand, just check which vent is the only broken one. Vents only brake if you activate the trap, the one with the hard drive is the one that starts broken without having activated it.

The woman crying in the "Freedom Fried Chicken" restaurant is a pretty cool touch with that map. In MWIII Zombies, there's a radio where Miller (the woman that flies the helicopter) and Ravenov talk about how Miller was present during the outbreak at Liberty Falls and how she hid inside that resturant. So the woman crying is Miller as a child hiding from the zombies.
The smoke launcher is goated on Terminus for the bomb step. You get 3 smokes per reload and the ammo cache refills them as well. I'm also curious to see if the drill charge is any more or less effective against manglers/elites.
That is actually big brain tactics right there omg. Sure you might be sacrificing a little handling/mobility but an underbarrel smoke could come in clutch in soooo many situations 🤔 🤔🤔

Two takeaways for this video 1) Krig is a solid and reliable gun for higher rounds but could be better 2) RoflWaffles will start killing tentacles for getting pretty much insta-downed without armor in future tests like this
I got a ray gun out of the vending machine on Rd 1 and carried a couple other bad players to the boss fight. But we lost badly lol… still a fun game best one since Shadows imo
the extra hits on tier 3 plates is to offset the damage that transfers from the one plate to the next. so with it being 6 6 then 5 its 17 hits to break armor compared to 5 5 then 4 which is only 14. which would suck because that means you're getting a debuff for upgrading your armor and it would be more viable for you plate economy to just keep the starting 1 plate where its gonna be a 5 hit every time or whatever it is for the round and just have to deal with plating up more frequently.
I’ve been camo grinding (mainly on liberty falls) and I found that the vending machine gives a PAP which makes my life just so much easier especially with the pistols.
With three plates, each one safeguards you with three bits, with two plates safeguarding you with two bits, and with one plate safeguarding you with one bit. Similarly, durability is also the same. Instead of the damage being distributed across two plates each time, the last plate absorbs all the damage.
The Krig blueprint with the meat coming out of it shows napalm damage when shooting a mangler even with a cryo mod on it idk if it does increased damage tho…should test it

Hey Mr.waffle tip here but if you look up at the actual vent to get the hard drive it’s already destroyed you don’t have to look for the keycard on the ground to make it easier to find which one is the correct one hope it helps!
Milo, shadow lift is quite a weird. If kill 1 zombie before shadow lift fully active, you gonna got kill point twice, first one is normal shooting kill rewards and second is shadow lift kill rewards. It's very weird....
when it comes to the plates zombies do a fixed bit of damage with some bit of random built in. The damage mostly like is tied to a percent with some little bit of random extra thrown in because it cannot just be a percent or it will never kill you you will just keep splitting down lower into a single number after a while so you need that random little bit of extra to make sure you don't divide infinitely. That why you get slightly random hit amounts for the armor sometimes it was 5 hits sometimes 6 because of the little random bit to making the damage slightly higher or lower on each hit.
I’ve had the same issue with monkeys (19:05) and even the LT53. In order to remove the 0 count you, must pick up another tactical and then pick up your monkey or LT53 again. Count of tactical should go from 0 to 1.
I've been abusing the KRIG C and can already tell it's a monumental AR in this game. I've already maxed it and gotten Opal on it, and have even been using it with rapid fire. It's nuts, but easily gets outclassed by the dragons breath ASG or the GS45 Mustang and Sally
The way the plates work kind of makes sense from a real world perspective. The more plates you have stacked on each other the less damage the lower ones receive, but they still take some damage making them weaker when they actually catch a bullet, or in this case a zombie hit.
With armor, ammo, salvage, lethal, and tacticals being just a big part of the game now the power ups should do more. Double points should give you Double salvage as well as points, Max Armor should give you plates aw well as repaired armor, Max Ammo should refill lethal and tactical equipment. Small tweaks to the game could be huge.
Dark flare is good if you put the orb augment on it, that and its even better if you have the slows on contact. Energy mine is still better imo but it actually makes it usable with those augments. Finished the mastery challenge in a single game that way from like 20 kills

the real way to think about it and it makes sense is that it takes 17 hits to full break level 3 armor so 5 2/3 hits per plate

There a bug with legendary upgrade. It wont count armored zombie headshot for critical it just gives standard kill.

Same. I try to keep my weapon unpacked for as long as I can and only buy like one or two perks...basically super conservative with points lol Also kinda makes things more tense/enjoyable.

Packing before round 10 is crucial for me. its safe and satisfying when you can just one shot zombies early to mid rounds. plus more points.

Hey Mr.waffle tip here but if you look up at the actual vent to get the hard drive it’s already destroyed you don’t have to look for the keycard on the ground to make it easier to find which one is the correct one hope it helps!

Milo, shadow lift is quite a weird.
If kill 1 zombie before shadow lift fully active, you gonna got kill point twice, first one is normal shooting kill rewards and second is shadow lift kill rewards.
It's very weird....
Have you tried the smoke launcher? I haven't used it much yet but i assume it would be very helpful
when it comes to the plates zombies do a fixed bit of damage with some bit of random built in. The damage mostly like is tied to a percent with some little bit of random extra thrown in because it cannot just be a percent or it will never kill you you will just keep splitting down lower into a single number after a while so you need that random little bit of extra to make sure you don't divide infinitely. That why you get slightly random hit amounts for the armor sometimes it was 5 hits sometimes 6 because of the little random bit to making the damage slightly higher or lower on each hit.

I’ve had the same issue with monkeys (19:05) and even the LT53. In order to remove the 0 count you, must pick up another tactical and then pick up your monkey or LT53 again. Count of tactical should go from 0 to 1.
You should definitely test the beam with Supernova and Heavy Shadow. Looks really cool too!
You need to use Deadshot is a crucial perk and not using it for several of rounds is a crime 😂

Armor does not give your plates more durability but you take less damage from 3 plates.
I've been abusing the KRIG C and can already tell it's a monumental AR in this game. I've already maxed it and gotten Opal on it, and have even been using it with rapid fire. It's nuts, but easily gets outclassed by the dragons breath ASG or the GS45 Mustang and Sally
The way the plates work kind of makes sense from a real world perspective. The more plates you have stacked on each other the less damage the lower ones receive, but they still take some damage making them weaker when they actually catch a bullet, or in this case a zombie hit.

Funny thing, everyone looking for the keycard underneath the trap fails to spot the massive pile of debris that is also unique to the right trap.
With armor, ammo, salvage, lethal, and tacticals being just a big part of the game now the power ups should do more. Double points should give you Double salvage as well as points, Max Armor should give you plates aw well as repaired armor, Max Ammo should refill lethal and tactical equipment. Small tweaks to the game could be huge.
Dark flare is good if you put the orb augment on it, that and its even better if you have the slows on contact. Energy mine is still better imo but it actually makes it usable with those augments. Finished the mastery challenge in a single game that way from like 20 kills
