Hellow .. I have 85.75 % in HS .. I want to take BA English hons ... So is their any chance that I get admission? And what should I be looking for in cut off list ?
Is this your best four or marks in home science??. With an 85.75 best four it'll be difficult for you to get B.A. English hons in a good college but you can always keep a check on all the colleges cut offs providing this course. For the first cut off list I'll recommend you to look into the B.A. programme courses in combination of English + any other preferred subject of all colleges. You might meet the cut off there

I was in science stream ...I had 5subjects ... Top 4 subject % is 85.75 ... I saw few cut off in last year list is above 83 to 85 ... So can I get in their ? When I apply to that colleges will I get seat ?

Very informative!! but note for psych aspirants, Psych honours isn't offered after the first cut off in the so called top colleges of DU like LSR,KNC and JMC. (For general category atleast)

If I take admission in Sri venkateswara college in bsc life sciences with PCB in my first cutoff. Will I not be able to apply to hansraj college for the same course using my same combination of subjects in the second cutoff?
You can apply in the second cut off, for sure!
Just keep in mind during the first cut off window you can only take admission in one college, so you can only change colleges after the second cut off

If you're getting the same course in SGTB khalsa, then choose JMC

I had observed the previous cutoffs in 2018 zhdc cutoff for ba English+pol was 82% but in 2019 the cutoff decreased to 79% and even evening college oh zhdc cutoff was higher than morning shift how this can be possible 😐
Sometimes the cut off drops because students leave the college in 3/4th cutoff leading to a lot of vacancies. This could have been the possibile reason :/ also always opt for morning college!

Ma'am please tell whether du will provide some days to submit the documents like tc , character certificate etc or we have to submit the documents before second cut-off( or during the processing days of first cutoff i.e from 10 - 14 Oct ) .. as my school has not provided me these documents till now and they will give me these documents on next Wednesday .. can I upload my documents after some days or I will miss my chance in first cutoff ?? Pls help ..
Hey, it depends on college if they would give you some time. Usually these documents are required during the admission process, so you'll have to upload within 10th- 14th October. don't worry initially the colleges pay more attention to your 12th and 10th marksheet. So have that atleast. They might consider you and let you upload it afterwards but as I said in depends on college to college.

No dress code as such, girls can wear anything and everything!

Didi all these documents will be required at the time of cut off or at the time when colleges will open
Some colleges might also not require all these documents, but it's necessary to keep them with you. And it depends on college to college, some could ask you to upload during the admission, some could ask you to submit these documents once offline college starts!

I want to know how much relaxation one get's with defence priority certificate and also like to know whether you get relaxation in all college and for all courses?
That will be mentioned in the bulletin, and if you have filled the CW Quota form, it must be mentioned in it. also they'll take out a notice before CW so keep a check.
Last year, minimum percentage in the particular subject was above 45/49%

Hey yes! You can take admission in B.A. programme course. There will be NO DEDUCTION of marks/percentage as it's B.A. programme

Our school gave us our class 12 mark sheet just yesterday and for that i was not able to upload my original marksheet . However i uploaded my marksheet as obtained from digilocker . I am a cbse student . Will there be any problem?
Hey, no it won't cause any problem! Just upload your original marksheet also if the edit window is still available!
It won't allow right now to submit the new documents. One thing else when i will take admission in the college should i upload my original marksheet or that from digilocker? Also when changing the college they have mentioned not to take simultaneously admission in 2 college as it maybe cancelled . So should i leave my seat in the second round or should i transfer(if such option exist idk) to my desiree college as obtained in the later rounds?
@@debangshuray3085 Hey, while you're taking admission, do upload the original marksheet and one clarification, YES you can't take admission in two colleges within the first cut off list window. You can only take admission in one college at a time! You can only transfer to another college once the next cut off list comes out. So be really careful while checking the cut offs and selecting your college+ course

Bo4:. English (core/elective) + 3 other acedemics subjects. For Economics hons in du, Hindu, SRCC, Hansraj, LSR, Venky are the best and for private colleges you can look at Narseemunji, Xavier's, MU, Christ, symbiosis etc

Didi please explain what is Provisional certificate and where to get it from ? Please I'm so confused.
Provisional Certificate is a certificate that is provided by your school. If you still haven't received it, contact your school. It's not a necessary document for many colleges but I had to submit mine as my college i.e. JMC asked me to. A provisional certificate is similar to your marksheet and it contains the subjects you had in 12th and the percentage received in every subject. The only difference is its issued by the school stating that you have passed 12th grade

I have got 96% and i want to persue ba programme and my dream college is kirori mal!! Last year cut off for ba programme in kirori mal college 1st cut off is 95% his and eco combo.. is it possible for me to get admitted in it in 1st cut off this year because i saw that last year seats are full in second cut off for general category. Will i get kmc in 1st cut off or not??
You can get B.A. programme if that's what you're aiming for. And yes B.A. programme in good colleges fill up fast so no seats are left for second cut off. I can't really predict the cut off, but seeing previous year's there's chance for you. But even if u don't get kmc in first list, take admission in the next best college!

Di do I have to scan the original marksheet and then self attest it and then scan or I have to xerox the original marksheet and self attest and then scann it again...? Please clear my doubts. I only find this video legit after watching so many videos. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Scan the original documents (marksheets, certificates) You can use your printer/ scanner or cam scanner whatever is possible. After you scan them, print out the original scanned documents, then self attest them. Now scan the self attested copies too and keep them in your computer

Hey! If you have CW you can get a good college like Kamla Nehru through CW in Ba programme :)

Hey! That might lead to deduction if you want an honours degree but won't make a difference if u opt for ba programme

i got 93% (top 3) which college can i get for bsc maths hon.
In the first list it'll be a bit difficult to land up in a good college but afterwards, if you're a girl you can get into good colleges like maitreyi, kamla, Gargi. If you're a guy you can get dyal, Tegh bahadur, or bhagat. But that'll only be in the 4th/ 5th cut off, if vacancies are still left.
Also, once the first cut off list will come out you'll get a fair idea. Because usually the cut-off goes down by 0.5 /0.25 percentages in the succeeding cut offs

Hey, you CANNOT include two languages for the calculation of best four, only one langauge can be included
