Ibanez always wins because their necks are extremely comfortable and fast to play. They actually gear a lot of their guitars towards shredding and this guitar is no different. The radius is a 12 inch radius with a very thin profile, The Squire has a 9.5 inch radius so you do notice it if you play guitars with a radius about above a 12 and it has a fatter profile. Both have pickups that are pretty shit (the reason I personally don't like them is because once you upgrade a guitar with really good pickups you notice the shitty ones.). The Ibanez does have a poplar body which will increase the mids when used as a body, which is literally what shoots those pickups in the foot. In any other guitar with an Ash, Alder, Mahogany, Pine or even Maple body they would sound decent, but in a poplar body you get a noticeable mid range boost which can take away from some music a person might play. I respect the shit out of this video, no ads before the end and you let the guitars do the talking. Good job.
I have them both. The Ibanez is heavier with more output. I don't like the middle pickup on the Ibanez. The chinese bullet does sound good though. Very light.

I've just bought Ibanez GRG 140 Sun burst!....which is an Ibanez with the super strat body + black head stock, so I win this battle. Still gonna get that Ibanez though! If I really wanted a Strat I'd get the real Fender for £569! It's not exactly breaking the bank its only another £250 on so on top of a Squier Strat; I don't know why people bother buying those. The Squier maybe a very decent strat guitar but the name just sounds crap! Whereas..it's an Ibanez and it says so on the headstock! Even the cheap GIO line is bloody good!
Ibanez owners who have/played strats, did you have any trouble adjusting to the wider and flatter neck? I'm interested in an ibanez, but my only playing experience has been with a strat style guitar. Music stores are still closed due to lockdown, so I can't try one out.
That Marshall must have a Celestion speaker, that makes a big difference, great comparison, nice playing 👍 I'm a Fender & Ibanez guy, depends on your style & what your playing ✌️

hi, i am planing to buy Ibanez GRX70QA but alot of internet review that it has fret buzz and goes out of tune ... what exactly is your opinion did you face those problems and how did you tackle them that makes you play it such fine ...
I have an HSS bullet Strat and an HSS affinity Strat. I love the bullet, play it a lot. The affinity is meh. My hss bullet gets way more play than my expensive Fender Strats, my bullet is just killer though and it is set up perfectly, bought it used and it came like that, someone knew what they were doing, the neck is oiled nicely too, I never opened it up to see if the electronics are stock, I suspect they might not be...
@@SantanaBanana47 I clicked here to reply with the intention of suggesting the exact same thing hehe!...I purchased one about a month ago and it's awesome in every respect. I just started playing the guitar and I said I will switch from classical guitar to electric guitar. I researched electric guitars and now here I am and torn between the two. Which would you recommend? İs Ibanez or squier
I am a noobie so i can't find the difference , which do you suggest as squier is cheaper and the squier has detune problem with tremelo , ibanez also has such problem?
I have Ibanez for about 1 year and I must say it is very good guitar for beginners, bridge is very bright for my taste and u can use tremolo for about 15/20 mins and than u must tune ur guitar but all in all I think that Ibanez is best fuitar for money u can buy
Milos Veljkovic thanks for saying that about the tremolo, wasn’t sure whether to find a guitar with a tremolo or not and rly like the Ibanez, gonna buy it as soon as quarantine is over.
About the tremolo... U must set up ur guitar nicely (set up height of magnets properly, change strings, set up tremolo and the tension of the springs on the back) for using it for about an half hour or soo... I mean it is not terrible if u know how to use it and how much to use it... But it's not great eather... All in all still i think it is awesome guitar for begginers and it is very versatile with it's 3 pick-ups... U can go for playing rock or metal to playing blues or jazz or funk...

Good job.
Squire Affinity HSS or the Ibanez ?
If the Ibanez it’s better, HSS or HSH ?
I would like versatility and also to last long, so what is the best one ?
Ibanez
But if you'd like more mods. I think strat would win because many aftermarket parts for a strat compared to an ibanez.
Thanks. I am guessing the tremolo arm is not very good on either? Based of your lack of use that is.
I have them both. The Ibanez is heavier with more output. I don't like the middle pickup on the Ibanez. The chinese bullet does sound good though. Very light.
Idk if i should buy the Ibanez GRX70QA or the Yamaha Pacifica 112V. Could u help me pls. Could u also tell me which is the best amp for someome who's entry-level?
I am really really really confused in both of these...please someone help me..which one should I buy among these two ? If you have read this comment please reply ....
I bought the ibanez about 3 weeks ago. Its awesome so imo go for that
@@bednar23 is Squier bullet not good for metals?
@@bednar23 I play more cleans and blues as compared to metals etc so still ibanez or not?
how are u playing a low note but it registers as high note at 0:08 I dont do lessons and i dont know what to type into google/youtube to learn. Would appreciate anyones help
My friend, those are called PINCH HARMONICS.
You can search for tutorials on the internet/RUclips if you are interested. Thank You.
@@agnivachowdhury thanks brother, I really appreciate it. Great timing I just opened RUclips to practice a song. I guess I’ll focus on pinch harmonics for this session. 👍 thanks again
@@22gsg80 Great! It was a pleasure that I could be of some help to you. Hope that you master those pinch harmonics soon!
Even the cheap GIO line is bloody good!
you made both the guitar sounds good
4:34 what is the name of the song
It might be something he made himself
Что за соло на 1:31?🤤 умоляю скажите❤️
Импровизация, придумал во время съёмки. 😊
А что за жанр?) не блюз случайно?
Не знаю )))
Ibanez owners who have/played strats, did you have any trouble adjusting to the wider and flatter neck? I'm interested in an ibanez, but my only playing experience has been with a strat style guitar. Music stores are still closed due to lockdown, so I can't try one out.
That Marshall must have a Celestion speaker, that makes a big difference, great comparison, nice playing 👍 I'm a Fender & Ibanez guy, depends on your style & what your playing ✌️
My son just bought a Gio and I'd gig with it out of the box. Unbelievable playability. Not to mention the fantastic tone. It's a heavy metal, and hard rock, blues machine. Line 6 amp. I was blown away."
Qual das 2 segura melhor a afinação após alavancadas fortes?
Grato!🙂🤘
sebastian que otta
hi, i am planing to buy Ibanez GRX70QA but alot of internet review that it has fret buzz and goes out of tune ... what exactly is your opinion did you face those problems and how did you tackle them that makes you play it such fine ...
You can fix fret buzz by setting up the guitar correctly. You could go to a guitar repair place
Demonstrating that amps are more important?
So did you replace the dire strings provided on both? Another gripe this test was 99% amplifier.
nice demo! both guitars sound great, fender is cheaper, ibanez has a better look. What about playability Artyom? thank u
I have fender and ibanez so it’s convenient for me to play on this and that. but for metal i choose ibanez and for rock fender.
Very nice buddy, thanks for sharing it.
Can you pleas share the tabs and chords 😅
What a great video!
Thanks!
I had the bullet se years ago
..hated it. I love my Gio! It makes me want to play
I love both and have both... It's all about the look you want.
If it sounds good, it 100% have changed electronics
Fender?
Just bought this Ibanez as my first guitar! Any suggestions on a good amp that's not too incredibly expensive? I was thinking the Marshall MG10?
Mustang lt25 is affordable and can do everything. It is very loud for the size as well. Very portable
@@SantanaBanana47 I clicked here to reply with the intention of suggesting the exact same thing hehe!...I purchased one about a month ago and it's awesome in every respect. Super versatile, sounds great, loud if you need it to be, light and user friendly too. And here in Canada it was only $209 before tax at long and mcquade. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT 😊
I have both, i tend to use the ibanez for metal and the squier for punk rock
So what do you think a beginner should buy who will buy one first and then buy other when get to advanced
Tried both GRX70Q & HSS Bullet. And finally bought HSS Bullet as I love the tones... but mine is a hardtail as I don't really fancy a tremolo bridge.
The hardtail will probably have more sustain too.
1:31 someone please tell me the name of that song
I just started playing the guitar and I said I will switch from classical guitar to electric guitar. I researched electric guitars and now here I am and torn between the two. Which would you recommend? İs Ibanez or squier
I am in the same situation.
Cool sounds!!! Saludos desde Puerto Rico!!!!
👋👋🇹🇷🇹🇷
I am a noobie so i can't find the difference , which do you suggest as squier is cheaper and the squier has detune problem with tremelo , ibanez also has such problem?
The Ibanez has a very similar bridge. It will give you problems just like the Squier.
@@adambilge2834 ok thanks
Good video 👍
Thanks 😊
what song is that at 4:58 please help!!
Just ordered the ibanez for my daughter , [make sure all pot screws are tight ] as on any budget gee tar
Should I get the GRX70QA or the GRG170DX? The 170DX is about $85 cheaper.
Bro the song you played what's the name of it please...bro its awsome af
Its my track special for this demo
Sounds a lot like STP Lady Picture Show.
@@Jke-bg4yu and also sprry for my english, i know it is bad... 😂😂
Milos Veljkovic yeah thx for that 🙂
