      Haha, me too, my back begins to hurt every time I see that, but I think they are used to it, their muscles and bones are trained for this positions, just the way he squats is different, his back is mostly straight and when he stands he stands straight, no hollow back, no scheuermann syndrome to see.

    The most efficient way to generate electricity and one of my favourite!

    • @Wilson84KS
      @Wilson84KS 2 года назад

      This one is not exactly the most efficient, it is just very simple to make in comparison, so definitely deserves to be known, there are ways more efficient ways to use water streams, but using natural movements to generate electricity is definitely the most efficient way, it is actually a shame that humanity is still using fire to drive steam engines to generate electricity.

    • @510Redneck
      @510Redneck 2 года назад

      @@Wilson84KS It is what it is because it's the best way thus far and without it billions of people would be screwed. The expansion of gases or nuclear will always be king until it's not due to it's raw power. To harness the power equivalent from "natural flows" it would be a massive (literally) natural disaster through massively interrupting nature (look how big this unit is just to run some led's as a example). Everyone and their sister forever now has been trying to find better alternatives and simply has yet to find such for a magnitude of reasons... until there is major advancements in power production and ways to store it we will remain in this era (unless everyone plans on cutting back that is while populations continues to grow.... something nobody will ever be sold on)

    I would make the inlet wider. so it will in crease pressure going to the turbine. that looks to be either 3 or 4 inch pipe I keep that the same but for the inlet. I go from the 3 or 4 inch to like a 12 inch it would increase pressure and speed to provide even more power.

    What effect would happen if you put (lack of knowing the words) a type of funnel to widen the intake and focus the water pressure into same size intake you now have, to increase water pressure (or make the flow of water more intense)? Doing the best I can to try to get the point across.

      The spec were on the motor. 350 watts at 240v 50hz at 1800 rpms. If this were to be able to turn at full rpms then you could expect 250 to 300 watts after losses.

    • @kameljoe21
      @kameljoe21 2 года назад +1

      Yes the larger the opening the more efficient it can be. There are some desgins out there for simple rigged units you can just tie off shore. Yet many of these units were and are never going to be made commercial because there is not enough of an market for them.
      While there seems to be a market for them, they just can not work everywhere based on flow rate of water being objective.
