Ana's turbine used has a capacity of 1000w and when running will generate power equivalent to 100v to 180v Ac. depends on the water level and the rotation speed of the impeller.

This is one of the best solutions I have seen for a low head hydro generation system. It a scaled down turbine of the type that is used by large hydro dams on the Columbia River in the Oregon and Washington states of the US. Ana - don't touch the wires when you are standing in water. 🙂
Technically its 1) Dont touch live wires when grounded to earth Contrary to Hollywood water itself isnt a ground to Earth or the shortest path to ground(and that concrete is an insulator from ground if anything) 2) Dont touch hot wire with one hand and neutral or ground with other hand and it will amps across your heart This is the way people die messing with live wires as just 100 milliamps will stop a heart The way line workers and electrictions avoid this is to wear thick rubber gloves on at least 1 hand(with rubber boots to prevent grounding) 3) Always treat the wires as live Getting killed by a capasitor, a high voltage battery or you turned off the wrong circut or a fault has energized the neutral or ground is always possible if you are not careful (never touch different wires with both hands at same time without rubber gloves and rubber boots if you must, touch only with tools with rubber handled if can....I've had screw drivers spark cause of a live ground touching neutral)
Please correct me if im wrong, but in commercial applications like you mentioned, isnt it better for the generator plant to be at the bottom / lowest part as the water gains energy from dropping with gravity ??

So much of this is SO Raw. I Love it. I've been watching FAR too much SNL recently...this gives me ASMR just hearing nothing but the work and Water sounds, the brickwork would get an apprentice fired on day one here, but I can appreciate that Ana likely does it with no formal training, yet regardless gets EXACTLY the result she is after using VERY locally sourced and reclaimed materials. If you got a contractor in to do this it would run you into the thousands, but the looks of it Ana probably paid for the Cement mix only... Which by it's own token, may well have been paid for by selling off a Healthy supply of Farm Fresh produce. I WOULD LIVE THIS LIFE IN A HEARTBEAT!!!!

Great video! Initially, I was curious about Ana's goals, but as the video progressed, her concept became clear. Additionally, I was concerned about how she would secure a water source potent enough to efficiently operate a power plant, but she managed to surprise me pleasantly.

Ana be sure to use anti oxidation grease on your hardware and save your from rust I would also recommend quick disconnect connections for your wires since you have to service bearings 3 times a year. U can also just build slots in side of your water flows to slide in a board block your water flow keep in simple . service your generators Also I loved your video.
As someone who has been damming up a creek to make a fishing pond, I can truly appreciate how daunting this project is. Even if she has ppl helping off camera, it’s tough and exhausting work
Agreed! I had to move a pile of 10 80lb bags of concrete less than 20 ft across flat ground and I thought my body was going to crumble. I'm still wondering how she got them up the hill. That alone had to be a serious workout.
@@geroutathat as long as the outflow is a certain % of the inflow there’s no issue. The dam we’re building won’t decrease the outflow by any significant amount. The property is over 500 acres and zoned for grazing and a fishery which it was decades ago. So he’s allowed to use/hold a lot of water for agricultural use. Our fishing pond is tiny by comparison 5mx10m and no more than 2m deep

Как-то на другом видео наблюдал какой длинны народ трубу уложил на склоне и какой перепад высот потребовался, чтобы получить в районе киловатта, плюс инвертор, аккумуляторы и т.д. недешево и непросто ... :)

Fantastic! Just a suggestion, Not sure if bearing or axle grease is available where your at but if you do have it, pack the shaft bearings with grease, it will cut down on wear and heat and last much longer at those lower RPM's. Loved your video!
There is very vwry few women or for that matter men in the US that could do half of what this lil lady does with out complaining or keeping up with her. Hell i know maybe in my youth i could of kept up with her maybe but not without complaining im sure. Who ever is this lil ladies partner is they are one lucky person!!! To extend the life of the shaft and bearing, as well as to facilitate its rotation, you need to lubricate the bearing with thick water-repellent machine grease and cover the bearing with an oil seal so that water does not wash the grease out of the bearing so quickly. In your design of the lower bearing assembly there is probably room for an oil seal - the cavity for the oil seal is in the next part, in the bearing spacer, which you screw on with three bolts. And also, between the flanges, which you tighten with three bolts, there should be a rubber gasket 2-3 millimeters thick, or a rubber ring, which should prevent the penetration of water to the bearing in this connection. If there is no oil seal and there is nowhere to get it, then you can lay a rubber plate there. In rubber 4-5 millimeters thick, you need to make a hole for the shaft, slightly smaller than the diameter of the shaft, so that the rubber presses the shaft tightly, but not too tightly, and lubricate this place too. Make three holes for bolts around the central hole in the rubber. I hope my description will be clear to you, I see you are very well versed in this matter.👍👍👍

You're allowed do that? In my country cant even remove a stone from a river or intefere with its flow in any way at all.

Было бы круто где-то написать/сказать сколько электричества даёт данный генератор. Судя по размеру, даже на гирлянду вокруг её дома хватать не должно. Но с зарядкой телефона, возможно, справится.
У собаки постоянно обречённый вид как у ходячей консервы, будто она знает что в конечном результате её съедят. Она даже не махает остатками хвоста когда её гладят.

Как-то на другом видео наблюдал какой длинны народ трубу уложил на склоне и какой перепад высот потребовался, чтобы получить в районе киловатта, плюс инвертор, аккумуляторы и т.д. недешево и непросто ... :)

Fantastic! Just a suggestion, Not sure if bearing or axle grease is available where your at but if you do have it, pack the shaft bearings with grease, it will cut down on wear and heat and last much longer at those lower RPM's. Loved your video!

I understand that you often have to change the shaft and bearing on the generator.
To extend the life of the shaft and bearing, as well as to facilitate its rotation, you need to lubricate the bearing with thick water-repellent machine grease and cover the bearing with an oil seal so that water does not wash the grease out of the bearing so quickly.
In your design of the lower bearing assembly there is probably room for an oil seal - the cavity for the oil seal is in the next part, in the bearing spacer, which you screw on with three bolts. And also, between the flanges, which you tighten with three bolts, there should be a rubber gasket 2-3 millimeters thick, or a rubber ring, which should prevent the penetration of water to the bearing in this connection.
If there is no oil seal and there is nowhere to get it, then you can lay a rubber plate there. In rubber 4-5 millimeters thick, you need to make a hole for the shaft, slightly smaller than the diameter of the shaft, so that the rubber presses the shaft tightly, but not too tightly, and lubricate this place too.
