I love it when the 8-bit NES can recreate almost perfectly much more advantced 16-bit games. This and the unlicensed Alladin really show what the NES can do, even without fancy custom chips like Sunsoft's!
I always think that this was the official nes version of the lion king I remember that I play it on ms dos pc and my friend got this unofficial version for nes and I was under impression how good was this port for an 8bit console Today I first saw official nes version and my childhood is ruined what was they thinking realasing that crappy game? A rare case of a bootleg being SUPERIOR to the actual licensed game; great job(?) Super Game.
Other than the controls being a little clumsy, this is SO much better than the actual official Lion King port on NES.

Same. Never completed that. When I got emulator only then I was able to complete it.
