the extrait one is so so beautiful, funny enough I haven't tried the O.G. (I plan on doing so soon). I hope to love it as much, I wore this extrait here recently, it was so cold outside and this fragrance just danced around me in such a beautiful way.
I recently bought Tabac Rose and it's amazing I love it Gris Charnel may be the next one I purchase I have Citrus Riviera and I need to buy another bottle for the Summer

Citrus Riviera very clean, laundry-type white floral smelling summer fragrance, easy to get a headache - summer scent to spray on clothes. Tabac Rose rosy opening, slightly sweet plum-tobacco as it dries, starts to fade around an hour in when you're not giving it any heat on your skin.
I still love the original more . What made me fall in love with the original was the amazing fig note . On the extrait they toned down the fig note and it’s more woody and smoky . I like it but I am a little disappointed they the fig note is more on the back ground now . I’d still give the extrait an 8/10 while the original is a 10/10 for me

@@louisefisher9959grid charnel, original or extrait, is not a hard hitting projecting perfume. It’s a more intimate perfume. Better for more professional settings or intimate occasions. I tried a sample of the original and it really didn’t last long, and I found that to rather be a waste of money considering it’s $200+. Extrait performs way better and has more complexity and depth to appreciate. Worth the extra money if you’re already shelling out
Hi Joel if possible I have a video request, if you can make a video about best lychee scents cause I bought a dupe of idole from dossier and the dupe smelled better than the original lancome perfume then I looked up the notes and they were totally different. I think the lychee, pear and bergamot makes this scent so unique and good. Cause I personally don't even like sweet scents but this one is so good.it has Pear, bergamot, lychee, jasmine, rose, musk, vanilla and patchouli. It is one of my top favorites scents ever I get so many compliments on it for standing out.
Wow! Idole is one of my favorite perfumes, I even have a back up bottle and the lotion. Loved it so much that I bought the whole line. I must get my nose on the Dossier version. Thanks for sharing 😊 Also, have you tried Carolina Herrera Very Good Girl? It most definitely has the lychee scent and it’s pretty popular. I had to put the bottle down bc I’m a heavy sprayer - that was a HUGE MISTAKE! I made myself so sick. Now that it’s cooler, I can use it again lol
First impression got me smelling like a sexy Parisian man walking around where my wine glass at? Blind buy, haven’t tried the original BDK Gris Charnel or anything so I’m just glad I like this one because this one was a gamble I can’t stop smelling this. This reminds me so much of Paris, at first spray this was masculine forward however with the dry down this is so unisex. I did receive a sample of Amber Safrano as well. The luxurious notes I get are: Smoky Fig & Cardamom Black tea Vanilla Sandalwood Top notes are Cardamom, Fig and Black Tea; middle notes are iris, Cistus Incanus and Bourbon Vetiver; base notes are Sandalwood, Madagascar Vanilla, Cedar, Tonka Bean and Indonesian Patchouli Leaf
I prefer the extrait over the original much more. I’ve worn both extensively. The original is a lovely smokey chai latte smell, but it disappears after like an hour or 2 on me, which is so disappointing considering how expensive it is :( The extrait actually lasts and has much more depth. It has vanilla, more woody notes, and a soft whisper of patchouli on the dry down that brightens it up and is beautiful for winter. Don’t waste your money on the original and just get the extrait 👌🏼
Eh its not wasting money on the original its all preference, gris charnel og EDP lasts well over 6+ hours projecting and maybe another 4+ hours being intimate, i much rather prefer the EDP because it is a soft smooth masterpiece and I felt the extrait was way too loud and somewhat harsh
