I would give "Grease 2" a 10! I am a HUGE GREASE fan. I have been since I was 7 years-old. That was when the movie "GREASE" came to the movie theaters in 1978. I became a huge fan of Olivia Newton - John. Since then I've seen the play 4 times. Therefore, eventhough "GREASE 2 has different people in it for the most part, as well as some people who were in the original movie "GREASE", I still loved it. There's going to be differences in any sequel there is. Sometimes all the same people are in the sequel other times there aren't. It depends on if the people who were in the original movie have something else going on or might not be interested in doing the sequel. It all depends on the circumstances of their lives at the time.❤😊
I actually like this 1 better as well. I felt the songs were catchier (thought to most, not as memorable as the ones in Grease 1) + I felt the cast was pretty solid. In the 1st Grease, it looked like it was mostly people in their 30s playing high school kids. I'm in my 30s & I don't even think I could pass for a high school kid anymore, despite the fact that some people (including some of my classmates I saw at a reunion recently) say I look younger than I actually am.
Ok who else has always wondered if she sung the song they had all expected? Or did she whip out some off the wall song that blew the rehearsed one away thou she was singing totally alone?
She was supposed to do the rehearsed song but, just before the talent show, the T-birds chased ‘Cool Rider’ off and he did a huge jump to get away from them. She thinks he’s dead, and that’s why she goes off script like that and has this AU scene with him.
