I love my grill. It was gifted to me. I am on my 2nd one in 2 years. After watching your video I am thinking that the reason my keep malfunctioning is that I don't get all of the grease out of the hood. I was afraid to damage the grill by cleaning really well. (Sounds weird, but I know some products can't endure a severe Scrub). I'm going to thoroughly clean my grill and see if the lid sensor will start working again. Thanks for your videos!

I have had good success with the smart probe. No issues or complaints on my end about that. I do need to do a good deep clean on my grill though. I made some sausages the other day and they started smoking. Oops. I guess that’s why they say to grill them on Low but then they turn out gray and unappetizing.

How do stop food sticking on grill plate

It’s non stick, but stuff still likes to hold on. I spray it with canola or avocado oil. If food still sticks, I just let it soak in soap and water, it comes clean.
