I hate it when there are different products but the packaging is similar and you have to read the whole box to figure out what all you're getting.

I have this device and it's amazing. It's basically a high powered convection oven just like other air fryers. The two key difference is that Foodi grill can get up to 500 degrees for searing/grilling and it has a huge amount of surface area.
You CAN dehydrate, just bake at the lowest settings possible. I've done jerky in the oven, same method. Turns out great!

I am a Ninja foodi fan as well!! My sister surprised me with the one u were talking about that folds up when not In use and I love that one! My kitchen is on the smaller size so I love the fact that it folds up out of my when when I’m not using it!! Great Videos my friend Vivian! I can’t wait for them to come out each Sunday!! I love your attitude and no hold back comments. I wish I had watched this before asking as a gift. The regular grill is deeper than the XL.
You sold me on the Foodi Pressure Cooker. I actually got the blender this year and love it as well. We plan on getting the grill for our RV. It will say on the box if it dehydrates or not. Walmart/Sam's Club typically have the basic models. You have to go to Amazon or Bed Bath Beyond for the ones with higher features. My Foodi came from Amazon so I made sure it was the dehydrating mode.

I have the air fryer that you're going to try next and I love it! I was skeptical because of the $200 price but let me tell you, I hardly ever turn my oven on anymore. Yes it flips up and it does save counter space!! Also if it dehydrates, it will have that written on the box. Not all models are the same like you said. The air fryer model that I purchased does dehydrate, so make sure you see that on the box. Great review!
I have the original ninja foodi grill without the thermometer. I use it almost everyday! Bought it for my husband for Christmas and we both love it!
When microwaves first started showing up in every kitchen about 40 years ago, I bought my first one. It had a thermometer that you plugged in to the unit and insert into the food. It was a very unusual feature and no other unit I saw had it. That one simple feature changed my life! I could get the water to the perfect temperature to bloom yeast for bread making and just generally had better results cooking, especially chicken. This unit Vivian reviewed is too bulky and far too loud, but I will follow up and see if she ever reviews a more quiet unit. All of her videos are so freaking funny and entertaining, and I learn so much because she shares her mistakes as well as her successes. I'm a former army trucker even though I am a woman, and her colourful language makes me feel right at home. Don't y'all ever change, lady!
@@Darwinsmom all air fryers are loud. I have a cheep basic one that is louder than my Foodi. We got it before we got the Foodi. It's a blower to circulate the hot air.
@@MyRealitywithNicole I don't use air fryers myself, so I didn't automatically make a connection that the very obvious fan noise would be difficult to avoid, wouldn't it? Oh my - a DERP moment for me! LOL

Vivian! I bought my Original Foodie at Kohl's and got it for $98!!! Their little digital signs were f'ed up and I asked if I could have it for that price and a manger actually let me! I got it because of your review and love it as well. Love to use it to pressure cook pinto/soup beans quick!

I have the original grill, it's a couple inches smaller as far as grill area, but a lot taller. I bake a lot in it. I've heard a lot of negative feedback on the XL because the probe isn't that accurate many times. I love my original grill though. Great video once again Vivian.

I recently got the Ninja foodi grill that you showed in a pic that dehydrates, grills, bakes, and air fry’s. I love it and use it constantly. I saw this one but thought it was too big?

Walmart only sales the bottom of the line ninja foodies. To get the ones with the more features you have to get it at Sams or Costco. I was fooled with that one as well. And they both cost the same as well. The reason I know is because I called the company when I was having trouble with my original ninja.
I can tell you right now that isn't the case. For example, Costco doesn't even sell the XL model, the one in this video, while Walmart does. They do however sell the smart version of the smaller model. Sam's only sells the XL, but its not the smart model. So, they don't only sell the bottom of the line ones.
Walmart absolutely only sells the trash versions. Every ninja that has features stripped from them are walmart exclusives lol. The foodi grill with less options, the foodi grill xl with NO smart probe, the flip up foodi oven also with less options to choose from… you get what you pay for at walmart.

Love your video, 2 things, first thing you have the XL 5 in 1 and the dehydrator model is XL 6 in 1. Second thing, take paper towel and take out the probe by the black part not the cable because with it being hot it could dislodge from the probe, then when you send it back they’ll send you a box of salt and loan you their hammer.🤣 ✌️
Original Foodi had those issues with different models at different stores too. I finally bought it from their site so I knew I was getting one with dehydrating.

I was super excited to dehydrate in my Ninja airfryer/pressure cooker and I couldn't find one that dehydrates. They were only carrying the basic model online everywhere I looked.
I really enjoyed your video, so I subscribed 😊. I absolutely love kitchen gadgets so I think I will try this one out. My husband loves steak so I think this one is hubby proof.
I own the Foodi and the Grill ( the first one ) and LOVE them both for different cooking techniques! My Foodi has the dehydrate mode so I didn’t need the XL Vivian sold me on the Foodi a couple years back , I fell in love with it so much I had to get the grill and I am not disappointed!! Love my Ninja appliances! I also own the Hot and Cold Brew System! I agree the the XL is UGLY!! I wouldn’t upgrade mine! Vivian PLEASE try the hot cold brew system! You won’t be disappointed!
DANM!...... I thought you had a whole outdoor BBQ area at first!.... My sister bought me an InstantPot Duo Crisp..... and although it's big, I find it useful, but honestly I'm not sure it's better than my $65 Cuisinart convection toaster oven..... How many devices do we REALLY need to get the job done?!?!.....
I DO know that you HAVE to try a Luci Light..... I will SEND you one to test! I give them away regularly to friends and family..... People laugh at first because it is SO simple and kind of funny looking, but then they USE it, and are changed forever!.....

When the food is done does it make a noise of some sort to notify you or when to flip it? If so can you hear it from the next room and will hit keep notifying you until you get it.
Ninja is pushing out their machines like the latest drug. At $220 a machine, they need to at least give me something back for upgrading. My daughter loves your outdoor kitchen. I told her it was a background picture scene. But, that's how a MFP work it! 🤘🏽👩🏾🍳

Walmart always sells only the cheap one made for them. Happened to me with a airfryer for 150.00 not the same as sold everywhere else.
