The character し is pronounced 'shi' not 'si'. The character ち is pronounced 'chi' not 'ti'. The character つ is pronounced 'tsu' not 'tu'. The character ふ is pronounced 'fu' not 'hu'. Sorry if this sounds kind of rude, I just wanted to point out a mistake just incase someone who watches this wants to try learning Japanese.
I am tamilan my native language is tamil I learned the hiragana letters very easily because in my language we also have these same sound letters in the order you read.I am really stunned when i learn Japanese
@Radical_Broski wrote: "It is not read as si, it is read as shi" and he said the same thing in ti, but in some cases these letters are read like this Edit: Tsu and fu are also the same
guys, IF you want to learn hiragana, just don't use romaji (latin letters / alphabets). memorize and practice the sound of each hiragana, just like what the native does. because i think japanese is, obviously, a diffrent language than english. so the Japanese speaker know best how to produce the sound. it's like we're starting from scratch of learning a new language.
im learning japanese because i am attending a school there next year, and although a few of the pronunciations are incorrect, it’s still really good and helps me remember 😅 also people say im only learning cause im a weeb but I’ve only seen two animes and im not that into it 😭
