+Emily Serjeant Try laying out all your reasons for wanting to dye your hair pre-discussion. Make sure they're all good reasons none of the "bc I want to stuff. When you talk speak in a rational and calm manor to try and present yourself as responsible. This is how I convinced my strict parents to let me get an industrial piercing so it's pretty effective. Hope this helped.

I asked my sister's girlfriend if I could do her hair, ( I also offered to get it professionally fixed if I botched it) I followed your steps religiously and her hair came out extra! Although we used only 2 colors (pastel purple and blue) it came out gorgeous.

I wish that the red color could stay longer in my hair. I once had red, but all of it was gone within one week ㅠㅠ

Oh! I feel lucky now. I dyed my hair red in November and its still mostly -red-, turning a bit copper at the ends.
I don't know if you did or not but if you wash your hair with sulfate free shampoo/conditioner and in cold water it'll help keep the color in a little longer :)
+Selena Castro also only try to wash 1 or 2 times a week and don't use a lot of heat in your hair, and use heat protection products when you do.

Selena Castro I used shampoo and conditioner especially for colored hair and did not even showered that much that week. Maybe it was because of my slightly damaged hair
