Body: Modified or adapted and reinforced floor pan from the Challenger SRT Hellcat, specially adapted to the new substructure. Body, custom bonnet including air intake in Hellcat style, LED front lights, doors with special contours, custom aprons with "Frenched" bumpers, front spoiler attachment in Hellcat style, new grille, new mirrors, folding door handles, special rear spoiler lip, LED taillights, black chrome finish all around,

Multimedia: Infotainment system from the Challenger SRT Hellcat, Harman Kardon subwoofer in the trunk
A modern car received the body from a classic. And that's exactly what this supposed one is 1969 Dodge Charger the case. Also here comes just the shell from 1969. The complete one Technology inklusive engine and Chassis components but is based on one 2016 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. The vehicle was created under the project name "Reverence“ And was made by the tuner Cleveland Power and Performance first presented at the SEMA Auto Show in 2018. The well-known one works under the hood 6,2 liter V8 with the compressor of the Challenger SRT Hellcat with stately 707 PS. But the engine received a lot state-of-the-art modifications.
For example Kook's manifold, Changes to the compressor, a changed air flow and Cooling, a tailor-made 3-inch sports exhaust system and of course an individual one Chiptuning the new components on top of each other to vote. The results are insane 890 PS (738 PS on the bike / 924 Nm) and thus another 40 PS more than the top model Demon. The powerful engine is coupled to a Eight-speed automatic from ZF (8HP90) with a Gear ratio of 3,09. But the most important thing is of course the new look. The 69er body got a specially made one bonnet with Power Dome, retractable door handles, there was a changed one front apron with a typical SRT front spoiler, great air openings in the doors, ultra-modern hidden headlights and much more black Chrome as well as a PPG paintwork with the name "Strangler Green".
The factory Challenger landing gear flew out and was through KW coilover kit (Feathers painted red) and the single piece is available in matt black three-part CCW SP551 forged wheels in 9,5 × 20 and 12 × 20 inches. They give you a look at that Performance sports brake system of the Hellcat free that with great perforated discs and red lacquered saddles ensures a befitting delay. And another phenomenal trait, of course, is that Cabin. This essentially corresponds to that of the 2016 Hellcat. At first glance this is quite controversial as we think. All the comforts of a modern vehicle such as heated and ventilated seats, start button, Navigation system or center console with modern selector lever are in the supposed classic car the weiterhin installed and working.

Man, I love build videos like this. They show so much of the REAL work that goes into a serious project like this. Frenching, smoothing, closing gaps, stretching, etc. these are genuine arts that really should be WAY more respected and recognized!!!

If they had kept the original body THAT would have been really cool. Too many customizers think they can improve on the 69 Charger body style and end up ruining it. That's what they did with this one.

I love videos like this to see the outcome but he also really hate videos like this. Why would you start with a perfectly good Dodge Charger when it seems all you needed was a roof? Such a shame to see a perfectly good car cut up in 80% of it not used. There are plenty of Dodge Charger roofs out there and lots of quarter panels from AMD. Just my opinion I really enjoyed your video amazingly great work.

So why not just build a tube chassis? Don't get me wrong a whole lot of work went into this but a stub frame built for the front and rear would have allowed every mod done to this chargallenger? Challarger ? Charllancher ? Chalarngecher ? ...what ever. It seems too much went into this to have all the fancy new stuff. The builder could have just made a restomod with pro touring suspension using the factory parts. I'd use a AWD charger for the donor car , that way a person could drive the final product every day without issue and it would actually be fast and very easy to service.
