So glad that she is bringing light to an under diagnosed condition! This will help so many countless women. I was diagnosed, but only after seeing multiple doctors. I gained weight rather quickly and was eating right and exercising. I knew something was wrong, but no one would listen. One doctor even told me to just put the spoon down when I asked for help on what else I could do to lose weight. Finally I was diagnosed with PCOS and I'm back to feeling like myself and losing the weight. Don't let it go if you think something is wrong. You know your body better than anyone!
howd you end up losing weight? after being diagnosed, doctors dont take my weight gain seriously, and ive tried so many things but nothing works, including healthy eating and tons of exercisee Dx
two four k once someone finally took me seriously they realized I have an insulin resistance, which is common in women with PCOS. My insurance put a dietician on my case and she and my doctor told me to follow a low carb diabetic diet. I've been following atkins and I've lost over 20 pounds in 2 months.

Sasha is a wonderful person, kind and super talent, l lover her and l will never understand why people are so mean to judge someone because of weight, sexuality, color skin.
I got diagnosed with PCOS last month (at age 16) after a 100 lb weight gain even though I was eating less and getting sicker and sicker. It's a struggle to even eat somedays and who would want to when they're overweight but eating disorders won't make my situation better. (Nor will they help me lose weight)
So strong and so radiant
She's literally so beautiful...struggling with my weight as well she helps me feel beautiful but also reminds me how important it is to be healthy
I can really relate to her for sure. I have a hormone imbalance and gained 50 pounds in less than a year. I have gotten rough comments from people saying I look pregnant and fat. getting over those comments and learning to my body for what it is, is a journey that will take a long time.

I have PCOS now and I too eat healthy and work out and gained a LOT of weight!!!! It's awfull... Losing weight is extremely difficult now!!!! Go, Sasha... Happy she is happy!!!!!
I have just been diagnosed with PCOS and Endometriosis and man it took almost 9 years to finally get a diagnoses. it is incredibly difficult to diagnose especially if you are under 18 years old, even early 20's. I am so proud and happy that women are bringing awareness to this because maybe there will be more research done to provide more treatment options for women !!!

It's great that she is outspoken about it so that many women with this condition does not think that they are imperfect. everyone has their own imperfections and celebrities do suffer from diseases. I have PCOS as well. I was very skinny when I was young till I was about 27. So it was such a strange diagnosis for me and now I'm gaining weight like crazy.
Diagnosed right around my 14th birthday. I am now 23, it's been a long battle.

I wish it was talked more often :( i may have it as well altho im still a teenager and the doc said its not sure
I was honestly so scared and cried so much i am not sure at all wat to do
