Man, the end of this game is going to destroy her... I've been playing this game every couple of years since it first came out in 2001 and the ending still gets me every time, it's going to really fuck Miko up when she gets there.
Then she got 3 seymour super chats that were like Seymour 1: (shy) oh nooo an indirect kiss with miko-tidus-kun kyaaa~ Seymour 2: Grats on the first kiss... was after me though. Seymour 3: Miko-Tidus... the seat next to me is open ;)
That's fair, I never played ff9 but saw someone else's playthrough and thought that it had an extremely well done set up and it was just a very strong scene including the play to make it feel like everything came full circle.
I really love their story She gave of herself endlessly to the world. Leaving her frayed and brittle paying off a debt she never owed. He took everything from the world, admiration, wealth, a second chance, and never gave anything back. They had to learn from eachother how destructive they were being to themselves, and I really think this is the moment where it clicks for both of them.
Since its assumed but not all vtubers are gamer fans. To set the scene is to understand the basics of the plot. The summoner, volunteeringly sets out on a pilgrimage with her guardians (People that guard the summoner). Tidus is one of her guardians and after a certain event, wants her to quit her pilgrimage as he loves her and doesn't want her to complete it as she will be unable to go out with him if she does. The world is currently under one true religion where you have the people who believe in Yevon; and those that do not. The ones who do not are generally considered heretics and ostracized from society. Yevon is the religon that believes that a monster was created to save the world because everyone has gone too technically advance and it was destroying it. The point of Yevon is that once technology deemed banned by yevon is gone, the monster will disappear and people's lives will return to normal. The point of the pilgrimage is to defeat the monster (Despite the fact that Yevon states it can only be truly defeated by giving up technologies Yevon deems bad.) and so realistically...they're only subduing the monster for a length of time. This isn't really a spoiler as its mentioned even in the beginning of this whole thing that there ahve been summoners who have defeated the monster only for the monster to show up later. Knowing all that, Yuna has taken it upon herself to take on this goal. She believes even a day of peace where no one has to worry about a monster destroying their village/city and killing their loved ones is truly worth her sacrifice and believes her pilgrimage will be the one who finally defeats the monster.. Even going so far as to being branded a heretic by the religion she rightfully follows. The scene happens sometime after she was branded a heretic by the representatives of Yevon (Depite never actually denouncing her loyalties to Yevon but the people that represent it) Tidus is hoping this would be enough to sway her to stop her pilgrimage; but Yuna doesn't work for the representatives of Yevon. Her journey may have caused a rift in her faith in Yevon, but at this point, she continues to walk so that true peace can be allowed to exist, if even if it lasts a day. She still holds out hope that she'll defeat the monster no matter how low the odds. That is why she rejects his offer. In her mind, many sacrifices were made to allow them to move this far. Many people are putting their hopes that she will be the one to bring peace. She can't think for herself, only the people of this world and she has to keep going even if she has to throw everything away to achieve it. But in the end, Yuna is still human. Yuna has her own desires and dreams. Even if she wants to walk the path of the sacrifice, she can't give up the humanity in her. That is why even though Yuna is committed to walk to the ends of the Earth to defeat the monster, she can't fully suppress what she truly wants. This scene's biggest draw is that yes, Yuna wants to run away from it all, she wants to live like a normal person and have relationships and be with her friends and be free of the path she's walking, but she'd never be happy because she'd never be able to live with herself if she stopped here. After the kiss, Tidus realizes he is never going to convince her to stop. No one has been successful in stopping her. It's a party of guardians that would rather sacrifice their own lives than have her complete her pilgrimage, but at the same time, stopping her would be the biggest betrayal to her so they have to keep it up. So instead of stopping her, he tries to come up with a way to defeat the monster in an alternative way. Does he succeed? You'll ahve to keep watching. The kiss was a beautiful gesture and its interesting to hear what people's thoughts on the significance of it is. Miko has been through the journey and I'm sure she had her own thoughts on it. Miko would normally call it ecchi or even laugh at it, but it brought her to tears, instead. A lot cried at this scene due to the significance of Yuna finally showing her true feelings to Tidus instead of focusing completely on the pilgrimage and what may be in store for her later. We finally saw Yuna for Yuna instead of the Summoner.
I never had a PS2 so I never played this Final Fantasy game. I knew of it, but story-wise no idea. Thanks for the summary though, I know I don't have time to put towards playing this older game.
It's not japan, it's more of RUclips copyright bot thing. Even if they have gained the right to air the song in JP they still have to deal with other parts of the world where the same music might be licensed to different company. Since she's monetizing this stream it means those other companies might gain some rights to her earnings in certain regions. You have to remember RUclips is a global platform, people from all over the world accessing it, and so does the local copyright law that might apply to any of it's content. That's why sometimes you find a video that is region locked or having multiple copyright claimants over the same song.
Looks like she just muted it for viewers but she can still hear it on her side. She's saying "the lyrics" so we can take that to mean she does hear it.
Probably because she doesn't have the right to broadcast the song that takes place during the cinematic. This is stupid but this is RUclips, unfortunatly.

She cried when she was singing with Sora in a concert. Its a touching clip.
She's emotionally invested in these games that tug at your heart strings.
miko sobbed when saying goodbye to coco in ark
Also during yakuza games she cries alot
Why did she need to mute the music?
I hate when youtubers do that.
Too bad Seymour got to her first
Is she muting to avoid copyright issues or something? I guess it's just Japan cracking down?
Everyone that plays this has to mute this part, it's down to whoever owns the rights to that particular song.
