I am very new to air dry clay. For my first project I thought about making a vase. So, I did a search and I came upon your video. So glad I did, because this is exactly how I want to make my vase. Thank you.
Hello there!! I follow you for a while now on instagram and always wondered how you make your pieces... super happy youtube algorithm showed me your channel now! haha. Thanks so much for posting!!
Hi Mariana! Yay that's so amazing!! I'll hopfully have some more vids coming soon once the Xmas rush is over 😅 thanks so much for being part of my community! Xo
Wow that was really dope. I've been trying to find a way to build a two neck small vase and this might be it. I'll just squish it up into two necks instead of just a tummy hole. Thank you for sharing :)
Hi Kc! Yes that would totally work!!!! I have made these before so I can put together a video at some stage, normally I coil build them but I usually feel like things grow much quicker as pinkpots! I would be interested to hear how you go with this method :)
looks so cute! what clay did you use? I tried hand building a pot with the clay I use for throwing on the wheel and it dried up so fast and started cracking
Hi Melanie! I used a stoneware clay that i would also throw with! I usually keep a spray bottle handy to moisten it is it needs it but usually only on a hot day i would need it if I am using stoneware. Porcelain is very thirsty - can be tricky for hand building without lots of water handy! 😄
Finally. I found a video on how to make a ring like shape without throwing. xD Thank you!
How brilliantly sneaky!!! LOVE IT!!! 😀
