This season does have a different feel to it, but college football is different now with nil. The future of the program remains to be seen. We can only go up from here is the one positive (I hope)
Guys, in context, how is this not the worst season in our history? Barring going back to the 30's or something like that? The 0-10-1 season had NCAA sanctions. This season we were expected to compete for, if not win, the conference and make it to the CFP. We are the picture of continuity (which is supposed to be the super power in this NIL/transfer portal era). And we are putting out the worst season for our school any of our fans alive has ever seen... From all I hear at least the 0-10-1 team had fight every game. With the exception of BYU we haven't been competitive since Utah...
Have I heard it correctly, that the players are able to receive NIL backpay money. Is this possibly why we we didn't see more of the under classmen playing this season? Is the program trying to get its money out of the guys?
Yes, as part of the revenue sharing model moving forward, players dating back to 2106, I believe thats the year, will get back pay for revenue sharing that didn't take place during that time.
Everything you talk about with our offense starts with a QB. Bowman is not good and shouldn't have let him come back. There is a reason he has been in college for 7 years.
Thanks for the voice of reason, a lot of sad Cowpokes out there.

We have not rage left at this point, we just gaze in fascinated horror...
Lol
Well said
We'll never have a good offensive line as long as Dickey is the line coach.
December 8, the transfer port dam breaks!
Gonna be interesting, I think OSU is gonna hit it hard
Really hoping we can win out. I know it is wishful thinking but those seniors deserve better than this.
100%

If the reasoning for not playing Smith is transfer portal:
1) Selfish
2) If he turns out to be "that good" then maybe he shouldn't be #3 next year?
IMO the reason for not playing him is 100% Gundy ego...
