You can't filter out most water soluble chemicals. Fluoride, chlorine, and a slew of chemical drugs from prescriptions and others cannot be removed by anything but evaporation. Governments spray the skies and farmers pour boat loads of chemicals on our foods and cattle foods. We are bombarded.

He's not the only one getting the word out. This is just the first time you've heard of it. Google PFAS and you'll find many many articles and presentations starting about 10 years ago. It just didn't hit the mass media market until recently. Environmentalists have been beating the drum about ALL toxins for decades! But thanks Dr. Berry, we need as many people in the public eye to shout this from the rooftops.

I worked at a military base for 25 years...in 2015 we were found to have the highest amount of PFAS/PFOS that had been found. And every. single. week....we have more people both military and civilian coming out with rare cancers and diseases. Ours came from the AFFF that our firefighters used. And then when I did some research, I found that there were wells that we drank from that were ruptured. All that AFFF that went into the ground, went into our drinking wells. And they knew. So many good people have died now and many more suffering. thank you for bringing this to the forefront Dr. Berry.

The EPA banned CFCs decades ago, and PFAS were the substitute. Few labs are set up to test for them at all today, and those few have had a low number of customers.
I'm not trying to defend the EPA too much; they are late. It's difficult to fathom the amount of reports, studies, etc. they had to validate, though. Also, considering that they're affecting national law and Vanguard's budget, they had to roll out a manageable roadmap. The 2024 deadline for testing to be in place was established in 2021, and still, people are scrambling frantically to figure out the state laws and logistics of it all.
And testing is only the beginning. They've got anywhere from thousands to millions of chemicals to gather data on, solidly prove which ones are most dangerous, etc. before they can ban a single one. We'll be lucky, the way large government and science work, if the first PFAS ban comes out before 2040.

When I was in college, my summer job was working for a well-known cosmetic company. After working summers, I realized what kind of stuff went into makeup. I've never worn very much makeup and people routinely think I'm 10 to 15 years younger than I actually am. I chalk it up to not putting chemicals on my face for 50 years. I've tried to tell people over the years chemicals that are put into makeup. My brother was a groundskeeper for golf courses for many years. He he was exposed to Roundup and other toxic chemicals during those multiple years. As a result, my brother developed bladder cancer from the time he was diagnosed to his death was 7 months. The cheapest overall option for best filtration is distillation. Next would be reverse osmosis followed by activated carbon filtration. All will help in the regard of forever chemicals. The trace minerals are troublesome though because distillation is so good at removing contaminants that it does remove them too lol. I'm not entirely sure how to properly remedy the trace minerals. I was doing carbon filtration using the best filters I could find but will be moving to distilled soon for various reasons.

Seems like even eating carnivore you have to be careful. That Irish grass feed butter is wrapped in paper containing PFAS, dark chocolate with heavy metals, fish high in mercury. Thankfully our family is a sixth generation farm family. I have been discussing with my son, who now runs the operation, about adding a milk cow and some hogs since we already have cattle and goats and chickens, ducks and turkeys. I want to start milking the goats for fresh butter and cheese. We have plenty of hunting land with deer, squirrels and rabbits and the Duck River runs through our property for fishing. I have always had a garden but this year I will be planting everything I can. I'm carnivore and have gotten my family on more of a ketovor diet. It's a scary world we live in now. Thanks to you and more like you people are finally waking up to the nightmare our country has created. When I was 6, I had my first visit to the dentist. When the lady turned a bright light on my mouth she asked the dentist what all "those white spots are on her teeth?" By him not answering her question, but instead dismissing her question by saying, "Oh lots of kids around here have that".
Who is to say if that unanswered question influenced me in someway to chose dentistry as my long term much loved avocation in dentistry...first as an assistant, after graduation then as a hygienist.
I am almost 74 which means I worked for first 9 of 21 years without gloves, masks or any precaution known to be taken. Yes, I also hand squeezed mercury out of amalgam mix...san masks or gloves before automatic amalgamgamators were used.
When I first bought my Dental Hygiene Physiology textbook, I quickly found that answer...it is called DENTAL FLUOROIS FLUOROSIS. I underlined in yellow highlighter because...at last, I had my answer. Learning my mother had been raised is South St.Louis, I had been born flouritoxic to a flouritoxic mother since the enamel tooth buds were exposed to excessive flouride during early gestation.
I know so much more now, but suffice it to say, I did not have a rat's ass in hell from not becoming uber...as in CELL SODDEN with this bioaccumulative cell toxin.

Where there aren't chemical companies there are coal mines, quarries, or natural gas operations. My family refuses to move. I feel kind of doomed

Sir, I'm a new Carnivore lifestylist, (not a diet for me, my permanent way of life!) I started on Apr 1st, 2023 and in only 3.5 months am now 63 pounds less fat and more healthy! I LOVE IT and love your video from 2 years ago titled "Doctor Admits CARNIVORE DIET is Too Restrictive (All Meat Diet?)" You have been sooo very blessed with wonderful humor especially for those being negative about Carnivore and truly NOT understanding how wonderfully marvelous it is! Bless ALL those who have come into the knowledge of it! I had a gastric by-pass about 15 years ago, (was 350 pounds) lost 100 pounds because of it, but because my eating habits didn't change, i put 50 pounds back on so was 304 pounds heavy on Apr 1st 2023. I'm now 241 lbs and looking forward to getting to my just after highschool weight of 200 pounds (6ft 4 inches tall). Thank you sir for being knowledgeable about this lifestyle and sharing your knowledge to all who will take the time to listen. I have special needs due to having the gastric by-pass done and look forward to someone doing a video about those special needs/challenges that we face with this wonderful lifestyle. Blessings on you and yours!

I use a good aquarium filter with a 5 liter glass container. The water I use comes from the overpressure from my boiler, which is normally lost. It slowly drips into a bucket so that part of the chlorine can already evaporate before it is fed to the filter. The water is filtered over and over again all day long, and yes, the difference in taste between tap water and my aquariumwater is big. Not ideal surely, but very affordable.
