Does this system or anything else allow for, perhaps, platforms or special attachments that would make it easier to lay wood on that and have someplace to strap to / secure, or similarly large items? Kind of entertaining myself with turning my Camry into a Home Depot getter since I got rid of the beater truck and everything is sky-high right now for trucks.
Hello! Trucks are pretty nuts right now! There are platforms or cargo baskets that can be added to this...but depending on how much you're looking to carry...weight might be an issue. You get about 165-pounds out of this and if you add a platform or basket, you're adding weight to the system which reduces the total overall you can get from Home Depot. A basket would be lighter ~30-50 pounds and a platform about ~48+ If you'd like more specifics or options, feel free to send over an email to hello@therackshop.com
