So funny but true! I stop watching BB years ago but after stumbling onto this channel, I love watching their games. I even set my alarm to watch the live games lol. I really enjoy blitzball. 😂

Makes sense. Baseball is a fascinating game, but the way the MLB presents it feels dull, boring, and drawn out.
I think what the warehouse is doing right is their fan first attitude, lighthearted and fun attitudes during the game, colorful and humorous commentating, and I think most importantly, short and easily digestible games.
That's not to say I don't think baseball should have 9 innings, but from a fan perspective, it's very hard to commit to watching baseball. 162 games a year at 3+ hours per game. 486 hours per year just to watch your own team's games.
It's a great sport. But blitzball and ball in play are exponentially better for fan consumption.
Well this is a ton of fun. Nicky and Jack look locked in. I LOVE the ceiling cam with the fisheye lens look - reminds me of NFL Films shooting in the early days of domed stadiums. Such a cool look.

I have been waiting for this! I live in Savannah. And it is amazing how the Savannah Bananas were being dismissed as a baseball team that would be run out of Savannah. But they decide to do something different and it has been a grand slam. The Bananas took over a historic stadium that has played the like of Hank Aaron Pete Rose and so many more.

Dakota McFadden used to play Indy ball for the Bakersfield Train Robbers. I remember 2 years ago going to games and he was hitting absolute tanks for homeruns like every game it was kinda crazy.

First annual for real? That'd be fun, I tried getting tickets to the Bananas, but man, Jimmy's got the cricket matches (in NC) selling out, and these guys are booked 'til kingdom come.
Can you imagine if there was a stadium full of fans also. Jom Boy needs to come to Savannah again and play in front of the great crowds in Savannah. Do it right before a regular game. Cap the game at an hour. And meld Banana Ball and Jom Boy Blitzball rules. Also COMO Bliztball Group was the originals in putting Blitzball on RUclips.
