@@Siggerou1993 basically in the old format you could just have your good pitcher do the whole game minus a couple batters, now they’re required to either record two outs or pitch straight to the five run cap. Poor Joez can’t record outs or pitch to batters at this level.
On the bright side, Joez’s ERA technically didn’t get worse! ♾️

At this point Zo looks like more of a consistent hitter than Jake In this tournament and if someone told me that during the first tournament I would think they were insane

Joez reaction to losing makes his pain worth it.
Joez makes everyone else in the league look dominant, he can’t hit or pitch. Lou got shafted having him as his teammate. Lou’s a good player, but Joez will never get two outs pitching, and won’t get a hit either.

We Got Ice has become my favorite team in blitzball. JomBoy and Jake will always be the reason i love the series. But Jack and Zo are on a different stratosphere

Zo put in a lot of work to get better. He was hitting off of jack in there kitchen
I love Joez, but he's never going to get better if he hasn't already. He's just as bad now as he was the first day. He has zero skill. Look at his swings....no coordination at all. He honestly should stop playing because he only hurts his team.

Zo had a huge advantage of living with Jack and practicing against Jack. It’s real easy to improve when you’re practicing against the best
Jack admitting zo has a better approach and maybe a better hitter is just so sweet. I think i needed that
At this point, Zo should be a better hitter because he's always facing off against Jack. I don't think Jack gets enough at bats. He survives on pure talent at the plate and I'm good with that if he continues to be the dominant pitcher that he is.

Man I love the Ice team. Incredible pitching from Jack ofc, but Zo also incredible pitching. Such a solid team in both positions.
The most underrated exchange is Rose asking Moylan if it’s a federal crime if Lou gets hurt and Moylan responding with complete confidence that it’s not if he does it himself.
I’m officially a “We got Ice” fan after this. Their talent, yet they still feel the like the Plucky underdogs in this whole thing.
Zo “Zoom” Demalia and Jack “Jackhammer” Doyle I hope you take that 10,000$ at the end of the season.

I gotta say, I was a casual watcher of BB 1&2, mainly watching Jimmy, Jake, & Trevs games bc I’m a TB guy. This tournament so far is completely different, I’ve watched all 3 games and can’t wait for the next. Production value is unreal, rose and moylan are better than probably 50% of MLB broadcast teams, and the game itself is awesome with the new 2 out rule. Just overall amazing, huge props to the whole Warehouse team.
Someone’s gotta say it - Jolly getting benched from BB3 with Joez here was a choice

Worst choice ever. Jolly is 100x better than Joez. Especially with the two out rule for pitching now, Joez is a team killer. Lou is good too, sucks for him.

So incredibly happy zo is seeing his hard work payoff. That work he did to change his pitching is paying off huge. He doesn’t need to pitch like Doyle he just needs to throw strikes, and quietly now one of the best hitters in the whole league, thinking Trevor is the only player without a doubt that’s above him
The Zo arc in this show is crazy.

Zo's improvement reminds me of my own improvement when I played club cricket. First season I was awful, scored 1 run in 11 games for the entire season and my bowling average (like ERA in baseball) was horrendous.
Worked hard on my batting in the offseason and midway through the second season, became one of the opening batters for that team and won the club's Most Improved Player finishing with over 100 runs for the season and halved my bowling average

outside of the 1991 world series between the twins and braves, i have never felt this much emotion watching a…”baseball” game. that was fantastic!
this was a first "baseball" game i've ever watched. that was an accident, so to say.
here in russia baseball and likes are completely non-present in public sports area.
from that time i first watched this game, i also have watched all other bb3 games to the moment, learned the rules and terminology, and "buzz-words". revisited this game with the new understanding i've got.

actually there is a game "lapta" in russia, it has similar rules. i'd say it was smth in between blitzball and baseball. i played it during my highscool times. but i've never seen anyone in russia who even knows the rules of it, just my friends, tought by me. we played 3 years like mad, then i grinded off nice chunk of skin by sliding on a pavement and that era was over =)) was curing that leg like 4 or 5 months lol

I feel so bad for joez. He's such a great human and really not a bad athlete at all. He just has to get the monkey off his back. That's a ton of pressure. Once he gets that first out they'll start coming in bunches.
