Thanks James! Long term sage club member, I bought my TCR in 2005 and added txl-f, ESN and Salt rods over time. Sort of feel like I missed out on the Circa range which I really liked, I keep an eye on ebay!
Top angling Andy. Awesome read of the surroundings to switch on beetle when you did. Ps. That tap of the rod to drop the fly from the rod eye rather than dunk the reel and reach up the rod is a super top tip - I always struggle with that on long leaders

Really interesting video Andy (as usual)I had a very similar trip a few weeks ago with a big Brown rising fairly regularly , to cut a long story short he took a small Beetle first cast after going through the box.
They love those alder beetle larvae, they've been deadly since this day!

Hi Andy I have a fluff checker fly rod off amazon its got everything on the line I've never done fly fishing before how do you suggest I start
how come the river had some much water in it. Round here the water is very low now and the fishing is very hard
This river is about two feet below normal level John, its very low too!
