Love the set up at Road Rage Performance and the Renault did well. Stu was so confident of no engine implosion that he didn't even bring the mop and bucket.
RS tuning are based in Leeds, they are indeed renualt specialists, and a really good reputable company, good strong power that👍🏼 nice one💯, can I ask what modifications have been done? Apart from the RS tuning map?, brilliant vid yet again guys keep smashing it😁

Took my R26 to Road rage after seeing this video - absolutely smashing! I’m based in north Kent and was gonna take the trip to Leeds to RSTuning… glad I didn’t have to go all that way! Made 272bhp/295ibs ft… super happy! If stu wants to see the differences between the 225 and the R26 he’s welcome to a blast in it!
I really miss my R26. I know a lot of people have negative opinions about them and sure there are loads of faster and better cars out there but I enjoyed every single time I drove it. First and last car I've owned that honestly felt like it had a soul.
@@toitoi8730 a well driven R26 is hard to beat on a twisty bumpy B-road. Just sublime - like you say they get under your skin, unlike many of the German hot hatches which can feel a little too clinical.
Good power. These never rev up top as the throttle body is so small. Paul at rs tuning is good. He’s mapped few of mine and friends cars. My meglio is mapped by rs and it’s 295hp 320ftlb to keep the rods in. You still on stock injectors? When and where you doing track day next ?
Would love a Meglio, that would be Stu’s next one I think. Yea still on stock injectors and intercooler, so that will be the next upgrades for the Meg. Next track day is next week but it’s a closed track day ish with a youtuber but we will be back in action at brands before the end of season

Little late to this party but the stock turbo completely runs out of puff at 6.1k ish. No point taking it higher, it won't hold boost. Better off shifting 6K.
Does that mean ur injecter cycle can't be adjusted or r they maxed? Forgive the newbe questions fellas. Lighting was epic by the way took at least 10 off u both & Rs looked new 😂😂. Peace sid
I like the Vlogs but i dont get who would take power and track advise (it needs 40 bhp more guy) from the guy who pulls his socks up to his knees and also doesn't have a clue about tuning (doesn't know what oil vapour etc is and why his car needs a catch can. Golf R at brands Vlog). Yes hes got the MR2 but how much of it did he do himself
Nice comment. Owen has no idea of track racing really, stu is the one with that experience. Owen is a drag racer, engine builder and car builder. The MR2 had the engine built by someone else and setup as time doing it, while running 3 businesses are tough. The MK1 Escort Drag Car was fully built by Owen and the Chevy Nova was also built by Owen for the purpose of drag racing. His expertise is V8s & Carbs and creating some epic drag cars. The golf R is the newest thing he’s owned, so he is still learning about that.

Thanks for support. The mods are a turbo back Miltek 2.76 non resonated exhaust system & air filter. Not a lot but injectors and intercooler on way 🤙🏻

RS Tuning were the most reputable tuner for these when I had my R26 Megane around 7 years ago 👌🏻

I would be unhappy mate. I run a 225 cup with 280 bhp and I'm unhappy. It has 301 ft lb OT torque. I still get blown away by other hatchbacks

The injectors are maxed, if wanted more power it would need 650cc injectors & a better intercooler. We thought it took years off to
