Now this Ladies and Gentlemen is why Bruce is called "THE BOSS" No one does it like "THE EAST STREET BAND"❤ I don't care how many times I hear this Song and watch Bruce and the Band sing it or how many times I watch this video I still get the same warm beautiful feeling. Bruce Springsteen and The Easter Street Band are Truly Amazing and Beautiful. The sheer amount of Joy and Happiness I feel watching them perform is beautiful in itself. I can listen to them sing day and night. I can listen to this Masterpiece Song over and over and over and over and over again and never get tired. They have you smiling, laughing, crying. There is a whole host of emotions that I feel when I'm listening to them sing and their love for each other is heartwarming and Beautiful. I feel like we're all one big happy family. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤. This is what Social Media should be about. All that other ratchet sh*t is for the birds. This is where it's at.❤❤❤❤ This is a Celebration of Life Love laughter and life. Being happy with Family and Friends ❤❤❤❤❤ Then you're so happy watching them dance and singing and you realize that Danny and Clarence aren't around anymore. 😢😢😢 Then you get sad. Rip to them both. Clarence and Danny are Truly Missed 😭😭❤️❤️❤️
I will genuinely never tire of watching this video. One of my favourite Springsteen songs, one of the best performances, one of the best captures of the whole complete E Street Band at the height of their powers; an ecstatic portrait of an unconventional but happy family doing what they do and doing it better than anyone else could possibly hope to do. Pure rock and soul ecstasy. RIP Danny and Clarence.
I've been to over 200 Bruce shows and, except for the first one, way back in college, every show I go just to watch and listen to Max. He's mesmerizing and seems to get better and better every time I see him. Mighty Max is the master.
The first and only time i've seen Bruce was at Gillette Stadium in 2016. I was 27 and wasn't much of a fan. I had always appreciated him and didn't dislike his music but it never really moved me in any special way. I went to the show because nosebleeds were reasonably priced and I figured it'd be worth it to see such an iconic artist while I still have the chance. It turned out to be one of the best concerts i've ever been to. Bruce is still pushing himself creatively and physically. It was amazing to see him and the band not only play for over 4 hours but with a front man and several other musicians that were well into their 60's at the time but also put on such a good show from start to finish.
This video makes me laugh and cry at the same time. The sheer joy of the musicians and audience, their love for each other, including bandmates, and the joy they bring is juxtaposed with Dan Federici's and the big man Clarence Clemmon's loss since this was filmed. Something tells me that Clarence and Dan are rocking in heaven, getting warmed up for someday, hopefully a long from now, when the band reunites as one in the sky.
Bruce’s greatest performance when America was at its peak innocence pre 9/11. There no phones, no metal detectors, no “axis of evil”, just a sold out crowd of die hard Bruce fans at the peak of their powers. I watched this in 5th grade and remember it was the first musical performance I had ever sat still through for that long. See you in august Bruce I can’t wait!!!!
In capoeira there is a word we use ... Axé (pronounced ash-hey). It was originally a Yoruba word ashe (same pronunciation). It basically means "all that is good in the universe". Its supposed to capture the happiness and joy of sharing positive energy with your friends and group. This performance is most definitely Axé!
i wake up (going threw some life shit) and i sit on my bed promising myself i’ll listen to one more Boss song then realise it’s near bed time again, my dad didn’t leave allot but his music collection is worth its weight in gold
These guys understand the meaning of value for money. Brilliant from start to finish top of their game every performance. Love what they do and appreciate the people that attend their shows, up their with Freddie and the boys as the greatest live performers. I can’t give them a bigger compliment than that.
Questa canzone è una meraviglia tra più belle scritte e cantate da bruce springsteen tratte dal album THE RIVER ancora un bellissimo album 1980 da fans di bruce springsteen non posso che amare questa canzone
I remember having bought The River back in 1980, listening to this track for the first time, thinking what a great journey into the wonderful world of Bruce Springteen's music that everyone ought to listen to this song. It's as fresh and as invigorating today!! With grateful thanks for The Boss, the much-missed Danny Federici and Clarence Clemons.
I've always said, no one is having fun at a Bruce Springsteen concert, than the Boss himself and this video is the epitome of that. And it also captures how much the E-Street Band truly takes such joy in performing together. But the video also brings tears to my eyes. It was such a more innocent time - NYC pre-911, and all the nonsense that has ensued since. And to see the Big Man and Danny, both of whom are no longer with us, puts such a lump in my throat. RIP Danny and Clarence.
The Greatest. Ever. 3:04 There seems to be a young lady in the audience, extreme right, who is dressed rather more "casually" than one might expect in public.....
Something to think about if Bruce doesn't fail his physical for the draft and goes of to war and doesn't come back what kind of music would we have been left with.
I first seen the boss and the band in Cleveland Ohio at the stadium on his BorN to Run tire I was in uaw my daughter's name is Sheri l remember it like it was yesterday and Sheri knows every song by heart she is now 51years old and has seen the boss herself thanks for being a part of our lives I'm 71 now
Bruce...I will never stop gobbling up your songs, I will never stop being the biggest fan at heart, I regret the years I never got to live when you were young, you sing amazingly at any age and many thanks for the great music career you leave behind, I i am a big debtor not you...thank you all for being...
I saw them on this tour when they performed in Buffalo and this song to me was the highlight that I remember the most. I'm so happy that I can relive the moment forever. It never fails to bring tears to my eyes. Best $100 I ever spent 🙂

Remember seeing this performed at the United Center Chicago reunion Tour and just seeing so many people happy. Bruce makes everyone in the audience feel like they r a part of something. A beautiful thing
This song sets me up for my day ahead, it shows this man has been helping our fathers fathers and our mums mums im 35 and this stuff got me past a stint in a mental hospital and allot off hard life stuff, and he’s still going
I think this might be the most wholesome 6 minutes and 32 seconds of footage on the internet.
Agree. Brings me pure joy
I agree!
I would counter with "Tenth Avenue Freeze Out" from that same show. Or maybe the entire show earns that wholesome accolade?
Don't need to say much!!!!!
Jim, i gotta say - wholesome is the word. Coz there ain't a lot a wholesome stuff on the net these days! lol. Go well bro and evabody.

If there ever was a band that had a great time playing together I can't think of anyone better than Bruce and the E Street Band
Omg love him
They all just love being up there together💞💓lucky lady gets kiss from Bruce!!!!
Clarence always gets the loudest applause!
Nothing, NOTHING his the mark unlike a Bruce concert.
I'm sitting here with a huge grin on my face.

My favorite of all time and in my home NYC
Couldn't have said it better
Totally!!!!
Bruce at his best, communing with the audience creating magic. Band joining in. How l wish Patti toured more in 2023-2024.❤❤❤❤❤❤
Max Weimberg the most UNDERRATED Drummer of all time
I've been to over 200 Bruce shows and, except for the first one, way back in college, every show I go just to watch and listen to Max. He's mesmerizing and seems to get better and better every time I see him. Mighty Max is the master.
This is the way Bruce says I love you to his audience
Beautiful people who have bought joy to millions. Long live #EStreet!

Ronnie I had a very similar experience in 1984 as a 20 year old in Chicago. The experience was transformative. What memories.

I cry every time.
As Bruce said Danny & Clarence are still in the band. They won't leave till they're all dead. Then they're reunited upstairs.

FOREVER BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN ❤️❤️❤️
He is one with his fans and his fans are one with him
The best of the best a live show is worth every bit of $$$
It doesn't get any better than this
Nobody captivates an audience like Bruce Springsteen. The whole audience feels personally involved.
John Lennon said he was and I quote “ THE BOSS “…and he was right 😊😊😊
Best Springsteen song.. A get up and move it song

I listen to this tune every day. It just inspires me.
Who do you think is having more fun the crowd, or the band? I can't tell
This is one of my favorite songs ever! My best friend got me hooked on The Boss when we were kids back in the 70’s!
Ewig nicht gehört, aber seit dem Konzert in Düsseldorf läuft es wieder ständig. So macht man Musik ❤
Cure for depression

That was nice of that lady to give Bruce Springsteen a kiss............
When the covid-19 converges, I want to go to the live again and make a lot of noise without a mask.
