"When I was young some climber took me under his wing and showed me the ropes. Maybe he'll do that when he's my age, in 25 years" Well we'll never know if he would have. RIP David :(
David & Conrad wow what a pair. Love to see them on the wall. RIP David. We will miss you!
David’s spirit lives on. He is still climbing those mountains and scaling new heights. Conrad is a legend and his enduring spirit will inspire climbers for generations to come. RIP David. Thanks Conrad.
I am so happy every time I find a video of David, that I hadn't seen before. He is a huge inspiration for doing sports. May he rest in peace.
RIP David, terrible news today!
Really terribly sad news
I met David about 15 years ago...lovely Person...So sad to hear he passed away...So talented...Rest in Piece...
How was David? I'va always imagined him as a very kind and shy person...such a terribile thing what happened...He was a legend.
Rest in peace...David lama
David Lama is a legend in the making! He's unbelievably young for the amount of crazy climbs he has under his belt. I guarantee in tens of years we will look back at him as being one of the best of all time!
Such a shame...
LukaHB this made me sad.
Alas...
you guranteed, you were wrong
Whoops, you spoke too soon🙊
Very impressive ! Thank you for those beautifull images .I wish more of course .what a place ! It is a dream ....And both are really dancers on the rock ! I can watch this again and again ..Thanks ,thanks ,thanks.
What an amazing experience conrad is definitely looked up to in the climbing and park recreation world
Lama was a special soul. Sad we don't get to watch his brilliant antics in the mountains.
Best climbing video I've seen in a long while
in the early eighties, I was a 20 something kid working it the redwoods of Humboldt county, up into S. Oregon doing dead wooding/takedowns in the parks so people could be safe. it was a very meager way to make money as a climber, but I was in top shape loving the adventure. as challenging as that was, and completely trusting my (now antiquated) equipment, I just can't believe what it takes to do to things I see climbers do today. it's just remarkable to me.
what a duo! great camera work as well...that ropes been there a long time.
This is amazing and something I want to do one day, set new routes. Also want to try this omg!!! Sick and beauty :)
beautiful place!
Awesome David lama Dai!
R.I.P. David
Sweet. Talk about longevity. My climbing years in SLC have long been over, but Conrad is still plugging away.
Haha, I'm the Jabroni at 6:15 that they brought the rope to. I still have a piece of it.
What's the story about it?
That's dope dude, cool story to have for the future.
Haha that is really awesome !!!!
Christian Boswell that is awesome!! Ha ha
hahah nice
I just today decided to know who the climbers were. And the fears were, of course, that it would be a well known and class A pro. What a loss. My condolences to the friend and family.
RIP David & Conrad is bada$$ with a ❤️ of gold!!
thats simply put amazing
Espectacular!!!!!!
Conrad is one baaaaaaaaad dude. Meru was terrific btw!
terrific and terrifying, honestly i was buggin watching that more than Free Solo
Yea, AMAZING!! I like to think I could do stuff like that...... BUT sleeping in a vertically lying tent and avalanches falling down beside them all night!? HELL to the NO!!! Meru was crazy, props!
RIP Mr. Lama. You are the best
One of the best climbers, such a shame he's no more. Rest is peace David lama
What happen to him?
Inspiring!
Beautifull
Amazing
Great video.
what cool dudes!
Rip David
David was a one in a generation
I admire the cameraman as well .. Who is not in the video
+inamdxb it could be a drone xD
inamdxb most of the shots were from gopro. Cameraman stays only on the base camp ⛺️
@@sagunlama it doesn't look like gopro footage bc someone else controlling the camera at 4 min. David too far up and angle would be improbable for Conrad.
A good Camerman isn't supposed to be.
RIP David.
Missing the adventures.. :)
I can't believe that its so difficult to figure out the guy was that did so much of the work. Who was the camera man ?
That's my home!!
Awesome >:D
RIP David 🔥🔥
Subtitulos en español por favor!
RIP David lama..
👍👍👍👍🇮🇩
I wish they would show more climbing without the constant cutting. Like one uninterrupted pitch
Top.
I really like it very much really beautiful view of the house in Thailand I'm pretty tight.
He won't be 50. So so sad.
Amazing guys. .next time u guysgo .invite me 😉😎
I climbed a 6ft tall tree yesterday
RIP David
6:40 😭😭
"some climber took me under his wing . . . ." Could that have been Layton Kor?
So schade um ihn 😥
100aufruf yeay :-D RED BULL IS BEST
i heard that he forgot his phone up there, he had to climb again
The first climber to do that feature was Jonathan Zambella. A local guide and Zion guru. Used to work for him haha. Just saying. Great film tho.
May the LORD give David soul peace

Sorry that Conrad’s vision won’t come true. RIP David.
This is what I don't understand, is why are you talking about it??????????????????????
because they want a monthly salary from redbull so they can keep climbing fulltime instead of getting a regular kinda job.
th view yeah
Sr. Archibald Crabgrass 4th lol
Third
So sad
F
David never gets to make it .sad
Welp, you're gonna need another human advert.
God why is every new climber an egomaniac
So nice to hear C. own the fact that he left his climber's trash behind. A little late cleaning up there bubba.... guess that has to do with your white guy entitlement, etc. Better late than never.
RIP David .
