Happy I didn’t jump the gun. The main font I see on a lot of these was a red flag that there may be more (or less) than what meets the eye with current offerings. Will be waiting your seal of approval!
I previously purchased that control screen, and honestly, it was quite disappointing, from the font design to the functionality. It caused me numerous issues, including damaging the car battery after being parked overnight. The screen drained the battery by consuming energy to maintain some system even when the engine was off, and it took me a while to figure out that the HUD was the culprit. This problem severely affected my travel for an extended period. I really appreciate your honest feedback about it. Now, I’ve noticed there’s a third version available, which integrates with the original system and offers a more polished interface. While it looks much better, I’m still debating whether it’s worth investing in another device again. I’ll wait for your update on this new version. You’re awesome-keep sharing your insights!
Thank you for sharing your feedback. Another reason why I can't consider any of these aftermarket units is the fonts selection. They look so old and just out of place in an MB. Like they actually offer Times New Roman as one of the fonts available. Really?!!

I’m still working with them on making improvements and updates to the software. Nothing is confirmed yet and they won’t list every cluster on their store until it proves to be a stable system.
As I stated in my video, for 2015 and 2016, you can’t retrofit an oem display. It’s only works for the later w205 models. My car is a 2016 and I’m working with a company on producing an aftermarket digital cluster that works on all w205 models and years.
I have it.. i agree its a PITA .. also the vendor i bought it from told me it had AMG pages and that was a lie i was pretty pissed off about that.. after some googling i finally found how to get into the secret menu and update the oil info
Both of mine didn’t have it no matter what it did. I tested these for a year too and worked directly with the software developers and tried to do everything to make it better but just couldn’t. I don’t have enough fingers to count how many times i did a software update with “fixes”. There’s too much limitations. The software just isn’t good. I’ve seen a test version of the new one from my supplier and I can tell you for a fact, it’s lightyears better then what’s out there. I can’t wait to get my hands on it!!!
heard the screen reboots itself when the car is off is this an issue to be worried about? overall is it worth the upgrade or too many bugs best to stick with the analog cluster
Honestly, there’s so many comments on my video about people “hearing things”. Where are you even hearing it cause the version I’m working on isn’t even out yet. As I stated in the video, only the crap stuff is out in the market. I wouldn’t put that on my car. The only good ones are legit OEM but they expensive, needs programming, and don’t work for my car.
the person i was going to buy it off that is saying that but has told me the supplier provided a update for it to prevent that but he has not tested it out yet since he is selling it. reason he’s selling is because the car got in an accident just parting it out now

Some of the 2019 - 2022 Mercedes 205 cars come with analog cluster, even though they are equipped with NTG 5.5. From what I can tell, the aftermarket digital clusters are only suitable for 2014 - 2018 cars which means the 2019 - 2022 cars with NTG 5.5 and analog cluster only have the OEM option for upgrading to the digital cluster. As you’ve said, the OEM option is pretty costly, so are you working with the company to also provide a solution for the 2019 - 2022 cars with analog cluster?
I've read that you need to upgrade to NTG 5.5. It might require a new rear camera. Like you said it would be expensive. How often do you look at the display? I'd rather retrofit head up display.
hey flexx I have a w204 2013 c250 and i’ve been doing some mods to it I just installed the burger motorsports intake and the tts carbon fiber air duct i’ve been trying to do stuff to make the car sound louder any recommendations? i’ve also been looking for the carbon fiber interior trim to replace the wood trim is there anywhere you know I could find some?
There’s a company that gives u all the parts and yes it’s pricey, around 5K-6K for C63S for digital cluster and NTG 6.0 before install. But it’s worth it.

Probably but that doesn’t help the people that don’t have access to a scan tool like that. The cluster should have access to the oem service menu for the cluster to viable to be sold to people. That’s what I’m working on still. It’s not easy.

Hey I am planning on getting teh DMP design android screen installed on my 2016 c300 sport. How as it been so far? I noticed its been a while and wanted to ask if you've had any issue with the android screen.
Great! I’ve actually shared this to other peoples comments, I’ve had zero issues except that once in a blue moon my screen won’t turn on when I start my car. But I just shut off my car and restart and it’s good. Again, once in a bluemoon like maybe once or twice a year. I say that’s pretty good for an aftermarket solution. Other than that, everything works like it should. It’s been over a year since I’ve installed my screen so DMP probably is already selling newer, better, faster versions.
Flexx any advice for me with my W204 ? I want to upgrade my instrument cluster on my 2012 W204 C350 CDI UK version, i.e., right hand drive. I also would love to upgrade to a newer steering wheel but in the UK for anything remotely good looking is around £1200 !! I'm keeping my W204 permanently, it will eventually be garaged or put in storage as I'm I refuse to drive a an Electric powered shit mobile 🤬🤬🤬🤬 ideally I want an old V12 ie CL not SL as the SL price has doubled and now costs more than a new C/E/S 63 no joke. But if not I'm going to either save up and blow HUGE money on a 2014 C63 the later model without the head issues. Or maybe if the price is right an E63s but either way I'm Mercedes all the way. Gone from being the BIGGEST VW/Audi fan boy to Merc as the fun from the rear end and powering out of a corner with my 750nm of torque ❤❤❤ YEAAAA
@@488PISTAI haven't since I don't own a 205, but there's a few DIYs here on yt! Apparently you can pull just the cluster "screen" part from the w222 and it'll work fine on a 205, and fit decently to a 205 facelift bezel. You don't get the fancy blue themes or anything but it's the closest thing to getting the real deal Edit: now I can't find the DIYs anymore, all the search terms are flooded with people fitting the aftermarket ones. but there might be forum threads
Guys can you Help me. M father got himself glc 250d 2016 and i want to install him mid console. He has drive assistant, lane assistant, 360 cam , p something. And i wan that the 360 cam functions. Do these android screens support that. He has grandchildren and we want to play them videos on it.

love that I have a 2017” C-Class and all I’m really missing is a more modern digital dash and new steering wheel.
Just the steering wheel alone completely changes the interior. The digital cluster is just icing on the cake. 😎

The 2020 is plug and play because you have the update ntg system, just make sure your screen matches the model your car carries.

Only a few shops can do it. The only one I know is Boston Mechanics LLC in Massachusetts. Those guys are awesome with mods and retrofits.
I see dmp has one listed on there site now. Is that the new design or the old one you are mentioning which isn't good?
