Exact same issue non stop, it works sometimes to restart and sometimes it doesn’t. I’m surprised they haven’t fixed this bug yet seeing how it’s been going on a year now
Ours has done it since day one. Only when trying todo split screen with online multiplayer. Today it’s not working at all for split screen. Tried everything. Nothing working. We are turning the Xbox off thru the remotes. Wonder if holding the Xbox power button is a different type of reset.
This isn’t working for me 😫 I’ve tried restarting the Xbox, closing down the game, signing my girlfriend in at the main menu, leaving my regiment and it’s still not working 🤦🏻♂️
Bro im sorry to hear that. I know sometimes it dosnt work for me either. But I've found having second person sign in before you click multi-player at main menu has a better hit rate. This is BS and they really need to fix it..
I left my regiments I restarted my Xbox and after a while it worked but I found to not go into the multiplayer screen sign in at the main menu it works better !!
I know right. What a headache I've tried the other methods people mentioned online about going offline then to local multi-player bla bla bla. None of it worked.

It used to work until today. Now even If we restart the xbox it still says error 13-71. Any idea on what to do?
