If you don't have a turn table ...try this ...if you have a microwave use the microwave plate and ring under the plate place on your counter or table be sure the space where you set the ring and plate are smooth.
I'm so excited that I found your channel. You have encouraged me to start decorating cakes again. Thank you for being so detailed and sharing your tips and tricks.
This might be the best youtube channel that I've ever found. I'm going to try to make everything here and keep trying until I figure out a way to do it that works for me. You've been so helpful
Oh wow, thank you so much! I'm so glad you feel that way😌🙏 Good luck to your baking journey, I love your motivation! If you get any issues with the processes, try dropping a questions on my channel or blog (I'll try to answer it when I can!)
I would love to see more tutorials. My mother specialized in cakes from scratch and loved decorating. She was best known for her wedding cakes. I did not pay attention.
Great!! ❣ Easy to understand! Iwas particularly impressed by two! The first one… Slide in like an airplane landing on the ground. The second… Set spatula at 4 o`clock position. It`s nice to have an easy-to-understand expression!! 👍🥰👏
Loved this !! Even though I feel pretty confident about my filling, frosting and smoothing I still learned a few things. Thanks Aya !! Please do more videos like this on a variety of topics!! Macarons specifically would be my fav ;) Like some fillings ect
As with all your baked goods this is beautiful! I always use cake board to place my cake on which makes it easier to place in the fridge but the edge always shows. I feel like I have to apply the buttercream extra thick to cover it. I would love to see a video explaining what size of circle to use and how to avoid so much buttercream. I am new to baking and love your videos especially the ones with your daughter tasting all your beautiful creations...she is adorable. Happy New Year and thank you!
Happy New Year Jody! Thank you for watching my videos, hope this year will be exciting one for your baking journey!! About your question, does it mean you want to minimize the gap between the cake board and a cake? I just wanted to clarify the issue so that I can answer your question properly!
Hello Aya. I always found your recipe inspiring! I have a question about the buttercream which will be harden once you chill in the fridge? Do you always eat it the same day you frost it rather than making it a day in advance?
Hello! Yes, it'll get harden just like any other buttercream due to butter inside. If you want softer texture, leave it outside sometime before serving. I try to make it the same day when I can but if that is difficult, I sometimes frost a day before!
🎉 once again Aye you have produced a fantastic tutorial on how to frost your cake 🎂 I’ve watched you’re video on chocolate buttercream with ganache or cocoa powder but I can’t find any recipes that have the American buttercream? ❤
This is the perfect video and channel! Im going to be making a cake soon and I'm a beginner so this is the perfect video for me! I hope the Swiss Meringue Buttercream goes right 😉 Im so glad I found your channel. You deserve much more subscribers
@@PastryLivingwithAya Overall, can I use Double Cream instead of heavy cream because Im in the UK and my local shops dont sell heavy cream? If yes, Will any buttercream come out with the same texture?
Thank you! I wished i had seen ypur video first. I wouldn't have so much issue frosting. I kept moving my bench scraper along with the turn table. Got pretty frustrated. Youre the 1st i heard that said to hold to scraper steady while only turning the turntable. I finally got it. And i almost quit baking when i just started.😂 so thank you
Hi thanks for your this work.i love baking and decorating cake. Please can you tell me what is the size in inches of your piping nozzle and where you get it like this extra large piping nozzle.thanks
For how long should you chill the cake before adding the second layer of frosting? Also, will the frosting go flat while the flake is chilling in the fridge? Do you suggest making a second batch of frosting while it’s chilling? Sorry quite ignorant with cake making!
Can you please let me know how do you transfer the cake from the turntable after it is done? If you have shown the idea in other videos, please provide me with the video link..many thanks for the great content💐
I love the way you teach. But how come your butter cream is not melting? I tried, but it quickly gets melted. What should be done to make a best butter cream.
The link is listed in the description box! In the video, I’m sharing 2 ways to make chocolate buttercream; one with coco powder and the other with melted chocolate. Today, I used melted chocolate with my swiss buttercream as a base.
The tricky part is that chocolate mousse can melt when the ganache is too warm and ganache can get hardened quickly if it’s cold. I would coat room temperature ganache (not cold) on refrigerated mousse and try to finish coating it asap. Or, if you have a silicone mold, you can also try coating soft ganache all around the surface first and quickly remove chilled mousse from a cake ring(freeze if necessary), drop in the ganache, and chill it in the freezer to remove the cake. That’s 2 options I thought of😅 I hope that makes sense!
A happy new year! I'd like to start this year with some simple, basic tutorials😊 Hope it was helpful to you🎂 Drop your question if you have any!
