Thank you, I love the flap idea as well, it really gives it a nice professional look. Plus I think they sit better on the bed, and the pillow doesn’t slip out when used. 👍
Thank you so much for this video. I have just spent an hour looking for a video like this for a pillowcase cut all in one piece with an envelope flap and French seams. This is the only video I found that had all those things I was looking for. Thank you! I can now go ahead and make my own pillowcases x
Maybe one of the easiest tutorials to follow! Thanks.. Just 1 thing I would comment that if the color of the fabric was different it would have been easier not to get confused whether it was right side up or not but was fine otherwise.
Hi Sandy, The colour in the video differently is tricky, but the inside of the fabric is a tad weaker in appearance. If you advance the video to 3:32, you will see the difference if you look closely. Hope that helps. :-)
Thank you, Rhozzy G.! Your pillowcase tutorial is really clear and easy to follow. My earlier pillowcases didn't have this tidy of a seam and some pillowcases had popped their seams because of it. I am so relieved that my pillowcases will be more finished and strong now, thanks to your instructions. Much appreciated!
What a fabulous tutorial, very clear and easy to follow. it was exactly what a I wanted. A flapped pillow case with French Seams, as the fabric I was using frayed like mad! I shall look for more of yours Rhozzy. Thank you.
Thank you for the tutorial. Answered just what I needed to know. At first I wondered why you cut at 18" for a 24" width but I see it fit anyway. I especially liked the background music. For some reason it was easy to concentrate with that music type.
Nice finished product...The measurements are not overly understandable but good demonstration anyway. I have a queen pillow so guess I will use pillow measurements + seam allowances and 5-7 overlap
I love your tutorial Rhozzy - so much better (no idle chatter or endless, unnecessary talking 😂) however I didn’t quite understand your measurements - pillow measured 24” x 15” and you cut the fabric 26” x ? 16/17” which doesn’t allow for the fold of 3.5” ❓❓Thankyou - I’d love feedback but can (probably) work it out 🤞 🤞 😊♥️
I am about to make some pillow case using your video because I find it the best. I just have a question. When you show the measurements that you cut and show the tape to us we can’t really see it because you show it too fast. I was able to figure out the 26” long so am I right to say the the depth was 17”? Are you cutting the fabric 2” more?
Need clear written measurements and clarfication on "on the other side". Does it mean on the other end or did that mean the long side? What are the seam allowances?
Thanks for sharing a really good tutorial. At 1:33 in the video, are you doing the first fold at 1/4" before folding the 1" making the folded total 1 1/4" or is it 1/2" making it 1 1/2"? Thanks.
Hi the measurements depends on the size of your pillow. Then add 1 inch allowance on both side that makes 2 inches added to your pillow size. For the overlap 3 -4 or wider
Ang measurement mam depends on your pillow. Just add allowance on both sides then overlapped and seam allowance. Anyway I'm currently making a re do video for this pillow. Hope you check that one when done. Thank you sis
Hi. It's because you don't understand you said it a waste huh. Can't you read or see. Shake your head duh. I've learned a lot on this video. Better than others. Don't mind disliker rhozzy g.
Beautiful work. thank you for the step-by-step instructions🥰
Lovely 👍 So simple and straightforward instructions. Thank you. ❤
Thank you
Thank you, I love the flap idea as well, it really gives it a nice professional look. Plus I think they sit better on the bed, and the pillow doesn’t slip out when used. 👍
Yes it is, you can make a wider overlapped too around 5 inches if you have enough fabric
Perfect - thanks very much for the tutorial. I'm going to follow your video and make some today!😀
You're welcome. Thank you & enjoy sewing 😍😍😍
You make it look so easy :) Thank you for this video!
By far the best how to video. I love the flap idea and how much easier it is to insert a pillow compared to the envelope style. Great job!❤
Thank you so much ma'm
Thank you for an easy instruction. God bless.😊
Thank you too. God Bless
Thanks for the tutorial, I need this for my stupid project
I glad it helped

Thank you for showing how to actually measure the pillow. I’m trying to make a cover for a body pillow and it’s a monster!

Thank you. Very easy to understand, but difficult to see the right and wrong side of fabric
Sorry for that, but reading captions will help. Thank you
Thanks for your help

This is fun hahahaha😊

Measure your pillow first then add seam allowance on both sides and add 5" for overlapped.
Lovely

Waoo
Good job 🖒🖒 thank you

Great way to do it. Love the fabric. What is it called?
Measurements are not clearly visible in the video.
The measurements depends on your pillow size. Add allowance for stitching, them add 5-7 inches for overlapped. Thank you
San po nkkbili ng tela at ano pong tawag
Dito po sa HK sis. Sa pinas naman umoorder ako online pag nag babakasyon ako
Usually ang ginagamit sa beddings ay cotton, canadian cotton or Egyptian ay magandang quality
Thanks for sharing a really good tutorial. At 1:33 in the video, are you doing the first fold at 1/4" before folding the 1" making the folded total 1 1/4" or is it 1/2" making it 1 1/2"? Thanks.
Hi! Thank you too.
I folded just 1/4 of an inch.
Please mention the measurements .or show in alow speed
Hi the measurements depends on the size of your pillow. Then add 1 inch allowance on both side that makes 2 inches added to your pillow size. For the overlap
3 -4 or wider
@@RhozzyG thank you so much
Masyado kang mabilis sa pagsusukat te...blurry pa pag nag pakita ka ng sukat sa screen.... Hindi natin masundan... Beginner here 😂✌️
Ang measurement mam depends on your pillow. Just add allowance on both sides then overlapped and seam allowance. Anyway I'm currently making a re do video for this pillow. Hope you check that one when done. Thank you sis
Measurement please
Hi, measurements depends on your pillow size
Add 1 inch allowance then, add 5"- 7" for the overlapped
Salamat po pero btw wala ako napanood inaantok na ako dahil sa music
Hahaha, nakaka distract daw kasi kapag lively ang background kaya mga ganyan ang nilalagya kong background
hi thank you
but at least write the measurement on the screen
Can’t see the measurements
Hello, the measurements depends on your pillow size mam. Width, 2x the length thrn add overlapped 5" or less plus seam allowance.
Going fast without showing measurements properly
not overlapped pillowcase
the music add nothing to this video and a terrible choice of fabric as too had to determine right or wrong sides on this video.
Sorry for inconvenient, reading captions would help.
You can mute the video
The background music was annoying. DISLIKE!
You can mute the music if you don't like. Thanks anyway
Waste
Hi. It's because you don't understand you said it a waste huh. Can't you read or see. Shake your head duh.

Don't mind disliker rhozzy g.
Ok no problem I understand.
Don't mind it. Thanks anyway
Thank you
