Shooting the crows and such will drop crafting items. Also learn to parry/block/evade ASAP! You can parry the axes even when thrown, and you can shoot most other projectiles. And running around will just activate more enemies and make it harder for you.

Actually you can combine Treasures in the original game as a matter of fact not only Resident Evil 4 was the first to use that particular mechanic but most of Resident Evil 8 mechanics was based off the original Resident Evil 4 game.
Honestly even if you had played it before...the changed the maps enough that I'm having random jump scares and confusion..and I beat the original like 7 times 😂
All the towns ppl in this game are so rude and pushy. "Excuse us Leon can we AXE you a question? We've been trying to reach you about your cars extended warranty...". Ugh.
I do like the original better, it was in my top ten ever games, the new one is good but it's also a bit annoying enemies are far more dangerous but you don't really get anything help deal with them, Leon feels slow and lethargic compared to the swarm coming after you.
