I wondered what happened to these guys. They like the older styles of music. I saw them when they were doing rockabilly but wouldn't let you call them a rockabilly band. They just have a retro feel.
Daisy singing and on guitar, pretty much stole the show. Lewis was amazing too. Nice to have Daryl place them on the map and did great, just like in the 80's. Love Kitty she is always amazing. 8) Kitty Daisy and Lewis are the best of the past, rocken into today!
@@patcolletti , Lindley lived in England for a year or so in the early 70s before he hooked up with Jackson Browne, he was playing country rock with Terry Reid by night and collecting ska and reggae records by day. Apparently he amassed one hell of a vinyl collection back in those days, I remember him talking about it in an old interview.
@@patcolletti , PS, perhaps you're already aware of this, but there is a David Lindley solo album titled "Mr. Dave", which has a number of ska, reggae, and vintage soul flavored tracks, and even a couple of Lindley's own rare songs. It's somewhat obscure because it was originally released only in Europe and Japan. I bought it first on vinyl and then later on CD from some mail order company. Lindley was kind enough to autograph my vinyl copy of it at a gig back in the late eighties. He held it up to show the crowd in the small club, and said "isn't this pretty? I designed this record cover myself". And then he turned to me with a grin and a twinkle in his eye, and asked, "can I keep it?"
